About this house rental
We’ve named this beautiful home “Slice of Sedona”, as it benefits from immediate access to all that Sedona and the area offers. It is remarkable because of its convenient location to everything, yet in a quiet area in west Sedona.
This house has been a guest favorite, and you can see for yourself their 100+ entries in our guest book that is kept inside the house: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmP9Jyht
The home is situated just .3 mile from the trailhead to the large Old Post network of hiking/mtb trails, and less than a mile from the nearest grocery. Restaurants, art galleries, microbrewery, fun downtown shops, movie theater, unique stores, spas and services, and bike and jeep rentals are very close. And of course, other hiking/biking trails, red rock formations, and Oak Creek Canyon are just a quick jaunt away.
Slice of Sedona gives you the best of all worlds. Convenience without the hassles of Uptown traffic.
It is newer, built in 2005, and has wonderful amenities! 10’ ceilings, new hardwood floors in LR/DR, granite counter tops, premium appliances, an open floor plan, solid knotty-pine doors, great artwork, gas fireplace, and spacious rooms await you. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. And, solar has been added, for a greener footprint.
The master suite encompasses the entire upstairs and features a gorgeous King bed with memory foam mattress, a sitting area with views, blackout shades, and a TV. The accompanying master bath has 2 granite-topped vanities, whirlpool tub with a window overlooking red rock views, a walk-in shower, a separate lavatory room, and a walk-in closet. Gorgeous views exist from the bedroom and bath windows. The master bedroom balcony, with seating for 4, offers photographic red rock vistas to the west and north. We love using it to watch the shadows play on the rocks in the evening as the sun sets.
The lower level has a well-appointed and stocked kitchen with gas range, large double sink, spacious pantry, blender, coffee maker, teakettle, Keurig, toaster, and an open island with bar stools for seating. The kitchen opens into the combined living and dining area, with a table for 6-8. The living area sports a 70” TV with cable, Blue-ray DVD player, a sound system that can stream via Bluetooth, and contemporary leather sectional seating. The gas log fireplace is easily lit via electronic ignition. Fast WiFi is included.
The lower bath features a granite vanity top and a wonderfully tiled floor and tub/shower, with a nice storage area for your personal things.
The 2nd bedroom offers a strikingly cool southwest King bed with a plush memory foam mattress, blackout shade, as well as a walk-in closet.
Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds, plus one twin trundle and a roll-away twin for overflow accommodations. It offers a nice view of the back yard and outdoor seating area.
Outside, through the kitchen door, is a deck, with a pleasing view of an adobe wall inset with a mission style bell (courtesy of the neighbor). A gas grill is just off the deck stairs. Farther into the backyard is an inviting seating area with 6 log-style Adirondack chairs, situated just above a dry creek lined with red rock. It’s a delightful place for an evening gathering, or nighttime viewing of the stars.
The spacious 2 car attached garage, with a garage door opener, makes access to your vehicle easy. It also has plenty of room for any bikes or other ‘toys’ that you may bring with you, or rent nearby.
A generous laundry room features new oversized a washer and dryer.
A Red Rocks parking Pass is provided, so that you don’t have to fuss with paying the $5 daily fee at the numerous trailheads. Also provided is a daypack to carry water and needed items on your hikes.
We are glad to share our modern, southwest style home with pleasing furnishings, a great floor plan, 70” TV, 2 King beds, an upper balcony w/ marvelous red rock views, plus 2 other inviting outdoor seating areas. All of this is only minutes away from numerous trails, shopping, and conveniences to truly make your personal Slice of Sedona a memorable and wonderful experience.

We come to Sedona regularly and have come 6 times in the past 12 months. This was the best rental so far! It was in a great location and felt like being home while in Sedona. We had everything we needed and more, well stocked and all the comforts. I would highly recommend this property!

Sedona is our favorite p[ace. This house had everything needed to make some home made meals and gather together. Our daughter and her husband stayed upstairs, because we don't do stairs. We would refer others to book their stay will you.

The home was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, serene, close to everything. It was well stocked with everything that we needed and we didn't feel like we had to run right out and buy the necessities. It was a great base for all of our activities and so cozy when we spent time at the house. We enjoyed having coffee or a glass of wine on the patio or balcony and enjoying the beautiful yard and nature and birds singing. The parking pass was so helpful as we explored all the beautiful sights of Sedona. We will definitely rent this property again!

Nice property with a good location, close to some nice trails and shopping. Host was very good at responding to questions quickly. We had a wonderful stay. The house was well appointed and spacious. The neighborhood was nicely quiet. We had a couple of unusual snow days and the fireplace came in handy to provide some warmth.

Great Slice of Sedona
We were totally pleased with this property. It is a great location for hiking but has many amenities nearby. Especially nice to have a lovely park just a few blocks away. The first floor space is open and clean feeling with great light. The second floor bed/bath is spacious and airy as well. Owner was always quick and helpful about communications.

Great West Sedona location
The house is very nice and well equipped for all your cooking needs. We were familiar prior with this street, which is a nice, safe, quite street. It’s also a quick ride to a trail system from there and close to the grocery stores. Having use of the garage was definitely a plus because we were able to secure the bikes in there and not have to worry.

Great stay, Great property
This was our first time in Sedona. The area is great and the property was comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated the cleanliness and the well stocked pantry. This property was like a home away from home in a great and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Everything you need for your stay in Sedona
This home was the perfect place for our trip to Sedona to visit family. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious. It had everything we needed for our almost 2 week stay. We didn’t want to leave. Booking and check-in were easy and we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful bonuses included like games, puzzles, sun hats, reusable shopping bags, and a Red Rock pass. The garage access made everything easy, especially for loading and unloading 2 kids in the hot June sun. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and nice to walk through. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Sedona!

Felt like a home away from home
No surprises when we checked in which was great. Host was responsive & very helpful in multiple ways. We took our ebikes and from the home could access everything in Sedona. Pantries were stocked with little things (e.g. saran wrap) which just made everything easier. Great home, great stay.

Great neighborhood
This home was clean and comfortable, just as it was described. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and we loved having the option of hiking neighborhood trails when we wanted to avoid the crowds of the more popular scenic trails. We would definitely rent again.

Upscale home, great location and owner gave us a lengthened stay due to our flight cancellation related to shelter in place directive by the government. House has large dining room table that accommodated our 1000 piece puzzles that we left in the game closet. Even though restaurants and major trails were shut down, we still walked around the neighborhoods and enjoyed the beautiful red rocks and perfect temperatures. Would put this home at the top of the list!

Perfect West Sedona Location
Two friends and I stayed in this delightful, well-appointed house in the perfect location in West Sedona - convenient to everything yet away from the hubbub of the main drag. Lovely views from the master bedroom balcony; delightful private backyard. Couldn't ask for more. Recommend without hesitation!

Our favorite VRBO
4 girlfriends visiting Sedona for the 4th time enjoyed this welcoming home for 6 days in October. The weather was perfect and the home was comfortable and welcoming. It was clean and well stocked with anything we needed and more. The backyard sitting area was perfect for star gazing at night and afternoon happy hours. The location was convenient and safe. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and Plentiful
The house was beautiful, with amazing views! Amenities were plentiful and the house was comfortable. It was like being in a home away from home. We would definitely stay again and recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect
This house is perfect for a Sedona vacation. Very clean on arrival and nicely decorated with a big comfortable couch, a large screen TV (additional TV in the master bedroom), great location near some fantastic trails (Boynton Canyon Trail, Fay Trail, Bear and Doe Trail). Also near Red Rocks Park though I don't recommend this as much. Near many restaurants (Picasso has amazing food), drugstore and grocery stores. Good location to explore other towns like Cottonwood or Flagstaff. The owner was helpful in trying to decide if the altitude would be a problem (it wasn't) and was easy to get in touch with. Great vacation property.

Just Perfect
What a treat it was to stay here! The house was exactly as it was described in the listing. Neighborhood was ideal for us - close enough to just about everything but not in the middle of the hustle & bustle. Owner was so easy to work with and gave lots of great recommendations! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice 5 days for the family in Sedona
The property was good, pretty much exactly as I expected from the listing. The owners were easy to deal with. We liked the location in West Sedona, close to shopping (grocery store) and restaurants and things we wanted to do, but not as hectic as Sedona proper. We enjoyed Sedona and will consider coming back and would certainly consider staying in this property again.

Sedona long weekend
Had a wonderful time in Sedona and the property was just as advertised. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful home and very convenient to everything. The extra touches - such as the Red Rocks pass and the backpack to borrow - were very much appreciated. Very nice and responsive owner. Would rent again without hesitation!

Excellent location. Lovely property.
The only issue we had was with the billing. There are extra charges against our credit card and we do not know what they are for. In addition to the admin fee of $35 there was another fee added and we do not know what it was for. We just know that more $$ we’re deducted from our credit card accounts than we had agreed to. This is an issue with VRBO and not the property.

First Time in Sedona
The west Sedona VRBO was a 5 star stay for my wife and me. It was clean, spacious and well appointed. It certainly had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, making for restful nights after hiking on many of the 400+ trails around Sedona.
Sedona is truly a hiker’s paradise! The scenic views and spectacular rock formations were nothing short of awesome! There was one trailhead just a short walk from the house.
We had a great 5 days and are already planning for next year. Thanks to the owner for all the efforts and attention to detail that made this VRBO such an important part of a super vacation experience. We hope it will be available for our next visit!
Small maintenance note: The downstairs toilet tank does my seal completely after a flush causing it to leak into the bowl and thus leading to the tank having to top off the fill every 10 minutes or so.

Great house
This house was a nice size and great layout for our family of 4. The house is VERY well stocked and the owners definitely go out of their way to make you feel at home - We felt as though we were guests in a friends home as opposed to a rental. The location is good, very close to all amenities of Sedona and also walking distance to several trails. The house is in a neighborhood as advertised which was just ok. only constructive feedback is the carpet is in bad condition and needs to be replaced. Minor construction going on next door but we didn’t really hear it. Otherwise we had a lovely time and appreciate the opportunity to stay here.
