I really liked the price. I really liked the location, The rooftop bar was great and the cleanliness of everything was spot on.
The rooftop party 1 floor up ran a bit late.

I love the feel of the hotel entirely from its design to the staff members and to the ambience. It adds a gothic essence upon entry, and I loved that. The staff were great also!
It’s not so much the property, but the location of the property. There were many homeless people around the property, which wasn’t a big deal, but I did not expect to have a handful of homesless people around the block and around the premises of the hotel.

I love the staff. Candice. Victoria. Luz. And the heart of the house Max have been my saving grace. I just moved from Ca, have a wonderful job yet looking for a studio but in the mean time we had an ice storm and my plans changed. They all have kept me warm safe and feed. The entire menu is made with love and light. Thank you. If you’re in between stages in life and or just stopping through the city I beyond highly recommend. It’s home for me at the moment. May they stay booked and blessed. Thank you so much
No complaints .

had some sewer smell nearby our room, its a small room so may not be suitable for a couple
4.1
Rooftop patio
Unique aesthetic
Decent bed
My room felt bare and sterile, mainly because of the white walls and small size.
I had to ask the front desk for a portable heater because of how cold my room was.
4.1
The room was nice and clean.
The air-conditioning was too cold and even though we asked it couldn't change.
The location is at the heart of a humane health and drug crisis, the old town of Portland. Many people live in the streets next and near the hotel, drug use is frequent and some people do get aggressive. It doesn't feel safe to walk around at night but even during the day and it is very upsetting to see so many suffering under these terrible conditions with no care. The hotel locks its doors and as soon as you enter you are fine, but how fair can it feel to enjoy a cool hotel while security chases away homeless and drug addicts? What I saw in the streets around this hotel will stay in my mind for years.

The staff and building were absolutely amazing!! The place had all the amenities you could need, and if you needed anything, the staff would always be there. The building is always locked and has security! The cafe was lovely, and made delicious snacks!
The location just kinda killed the whole vibe. Just walking a few blocks didn't feel safe, and we didn't even try to go out at night. We parked at the recommend parking garage and left my car a little messy so it wouldn't get messed with. All in all it was fine, but just be aware that the location is a little rough!
4.1
Central location for quick access to public transportation and near many walkable restaurants and breweries. Plus, a cafe in the lobby.
4.1
Close to Union Station, spotless, great food, excellent service, relaxing lobby / coffee shop... walking distance from all downtown amenities
Just the mattress... could be higher standard
4.1
Easy check in, nice staff, coffee and snacks convenient.
The location is less than ideal, but that's downtown for you.

Nothing
The room was cleanish, I guess cleanliness is subjective.
I have OCD, allergies (dust mite), and asthma.
I walked in looked at the room and then walked right back out. I did not end up staying at the hotel.
4.1
The staff was friendly.
I didn’t realize it was a shared bathroom and the cost is high for a hostel hotel and it’s not in the best area.
4.1
The hotel has tons of personality; and the staff might be the friendliest, most knowledgeable I've ever encountered in any hotel. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
There are a lot of homeless people camped out nearby; it makes sense not to walk in the neighborhood after roughly 9PM.
4.1
The style of the hotel itself was fantastic, and the rooms were small, but the layout was comfortable.
I have ADA parking, and there weren’t options for me to park close to the hotel using my pass.
4.1
The property was lovely & unique. The staff was helpful and was flexible when I request few extra nights to stay. I absolutely love that there was coffee bar on the ground floor.

cute and quaint
not every room has a private bathroom

Staff was really friendly, and helpful. Amenities were really clean.
Location is good but it is surrounded by homeless people.

it was so cold in the room
4.1
staff was very helpful and pleasant, nice interior in the lobby , everything else is very basic.
the floors in our room were crooked so bed was head down so it was difficult to have comfortable sleep
4.1
Shared bathrooms were clean at check in.
Rooftop is nice, so is downstairs bar/cafe.
Location is close to Union station.
Front desk staff is consistently SUPER slow when trying to pick up stored bags. Like, they make a ton of small talk with check-in guests while there's a line of people waiting to get their bag so they can make their flight or train.
When I checked out, front desk staff asked me to tip $10-$20 for ONE night, on TOP of the cash tip left in the gratuity envelope in the room! Keep in mind that their policy is for housekeeping to only show up once every 3 days, PLUS I've stayed here for a full week before and not once did cleaning every come by. Ridiculous. At this point with the tip they pressured me into, I could've spent the same money on a proper hotel room (not a shared bathroom situation) in walking distance.
Wifi was slow this time, to the point where I had issues with work.
Room had terrible soundproofing. I couldn't sleep well all night because I could hear every footstep above me, and even what sounded like the lightswitches being turned on and off.
Bed was not comfortable this time.
4.1
Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The views and facilities on rooftop were awesome.
