It was clean
Plastic cups. I paid for a water view and was given a blocked/partial view. Bubbled sun blocking film on window. TV didn’t work and technician came into the room, took TV off the wall and reprogrammed while we were in our nightgowns.

very small room paid parking
poor value paid parking

Room service was quick
Was having a medical procedure and asked for an early cleaning at the front desk while I was having the procedure. It was not done as either the front desk failed to communicate to housekeeping or the latter ignored it. When I got back from the procedure I was required to line down for rest of the day so no cleaning could be done. Disappointing.

Cleanliness, safety
I don't want to sign-in for a wi-fi account-even if it is free.

The staff in the restaurant were fantastic 👌👏older woman, with a cane was extremely pleasant, when we checked out. Wonderful costumer service 👏 👌
Unfortunately the front desk man,was unpleasant, when we checked in. Very uncomfortable experience! He made us feel like we were in the wrong place,VERY Distasteful!
The valets did not have my information correctly. I was late for my appointment, due to waiting on my vehicle.$54. for that,is Ridiculous!!!! The room needs attention! It was apparent that the cleaning staff are not satisfactory,Dust and Filthy surfaces! Would not expect that from the Marriott!Would like to see management make some serious improvements,it could be a more successful business.

Convenient location and has all we needed without having to leave the hotel
No t.v. remote in our room. However, one was brought to us so we could turn it off in order to go to bed!

We liked the hotel on the river. We walked along the river in the morning. We liked the 3rd Floor Lounge with the Drinks / Snacks and the Breakfast. We liked the Coffee shop in the hotel. The valet person was very nice!!
We did not like there was no gift shop in such a large hotel. There was a large convention going on. Missed opportunity for guests to get personal items and other stuff. All they had was a few drinks off to the left of the front desk area. We had to make our way to Target a few blocks away. This was a bit unnerving walking into the Target with 3 armed police officers. There were a lot of homeless people coming into the Target store. They were also hanging around on the streets. We were in and out very quick. Not sure I would stay here again based on the location. We liked the Portland Embassy Suites location better as it felt safer to walk around and walk to Voodoo Donuts.

Everything except the room is too small for the price I paid.
Room is too small for price I paid.

Bed and pillows were super comphy. Good location easy to get around to everywhere we need to be
The front desk staff neglected to mention there was an additional $25 per night 'location fee' at check in - AND - that if I bought food on premises to charge it to my room and I'd be credited back up to $25 dollars a day. Therefore, I charged our breakfast(s) on the credit card. When I checked out they were generous with that information AFTER it was too late. Pretty shady move as far as I was concerned and so I told them as much. They apologized and said they would refund me that amount but then never did receive the credit. So not only do I feel ripped off I was also lied to. Double insult.

The room was very spacious! The air conditioning was a bit loud, but it kept the room exceptionally cool during the intense heat.
The front receptionist made a comment about us being married... we were mother and son, we got a chuckle out of it, but others may not find it as amusing as we did

Location was convenient for business purposes.
No parking on site unless you pay $49/day.
Did not like the glass sliding door to the bathroom.
Some staff were friendly and helpful, others were not.
Was charged incorrectly multiple times and the front desk said they weren't able to help me and transferred me to accounting who did not return my messages or email.

All the staff was pleasant and helpful, ( especially the morning staff at the restaurant). Rooms were clean and beds super comfortable. The The location was perfectly located across from the river walk.
I believe a complimentary breakfast would be a nice touch.
We travel the world and 90% of hotels we stay in have breakfast included with our stay.
