Great location. Loved the screened porch.

Our first visit to Asheville, and it's for our daughter's wedding. Beautiful time of year to visit! We enjoyed the area and loved the hike on Mt. Pisgah. The house was a little far from the rest of the wedding party but we liked the quiet and calm in the mountains. The lack of cell service was frustrating since it dampened communication with the rest of our group. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Nice quaint place in the hills. Where I enjoyed the sound of the creek that runs right by the property. Also where I saw salamanders! I haven't seen one in nature in a long time!
Pam was always quick to respond and even accepted a add on guest.

We loved the location of this house! The creek was the perfect place for my young kids to play, and the two separate houses gave our extended family plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed being close to the parkway and surrounded by nature.
Our main disappointment as avid home cooks was the state of the cookware and grill. The grill was not in working order due to previous guests. While I notified the host and she was quick to respond, we were not able to get a working grill to the house during our stay. In addition, the pots and pans were a bit of a hodge-podge. They were obviously old and not good quality, and we ended up buying a few inexpensive new pans so we would have something good enough to cook on. In addition, we found a mixer without beaters in the main house and beaters without a mixer in the smaller cabin, but they did not go together, so that also presented a struggle.
Anytime we had a question or a problem, the host was very quick to respond. The houses were clean and had all the listed amenities except the working grill. Check-in and check-out processes were reasonable and easy. The property is gorgeous and so relaxing! Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful location, quiet and cozy. Close to Ashville but away from it all too. Just right.

This was a lovely place and quite a bargain! Two houses for the price of one. There was a hot tub, a delightful yard a creek a fire pit. I imagine it would be just lovely to take one’s family there to vacation. It is 15 minutes from Pishah Inn and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was not however, perfect for my group because we were coming from all areas of the country and not close personal friends. The Creekside house is awesome and has a queen bed and a Murphy bed but they are very close together and sharing a very large studio open space, none of my hikers were willing to share that space together. In the main house which is very quaint and homey there was an awesome room for parents and another lovely room maybe for grandma and two or three kids. It was kind of an awkward arrangement for five adults. Anyway, it all worked out and we were happy. We were there.

Beautifully secluded property just outside of Ashville. Slept our group of 8 comfortably. Two full kitchens were very helpful when preparing meals. As we left, we were already talking about when we could come back.

Had a wonderful 4 days! Loved the comfort of the home, reading by the fireplace and on the deck with the babbling creek sounds. Toured the Blue Ridge Parkway, toured Asheville, hit the outlet mall. Teens loved the pool table and games. Beautiful mountain walks from the cabin with vibrant foliage. Hot tub was splendid in the evenings. Couldn’t ask for more.

Daughters wedding in Canton w activities in Asheville. Property is out a ways but we loved it and it was worth the extra driving.
We used both houses and they were both very nice.

I booked this listing for my family and I as we attended a wedding at The Farm a Gathering Place in Candler (about 8-9 miles from the VRBO). We had such a lovely stay, what a great place! It worked out so well for us location wise to the wedding venue.
We loved all the hiking areas around the houses and the little Budgie Bakery down the road had the most amazing fresh made donuts (check them out if you have a sweet tooth - a hidden gem). My 2 little nephews were with us (ages 6 and 3) and they loved looking for crawdads, salamanders and crawly things around the little creek - I think they felt like they were on an adventure everyday. We also loved coffee on the big screened in porch at Creekside Cabin. The kitchens were very fictional as we cooked most of our meals onsite, only eating out a few times with the rehearsal, wedding, and pub crawl in downtown Asheville. This location felt so secluded but was close to everything we could have ever needed. Pam was a lovely host even communicating back and forth with me while she was on vacation herself. Would love to stay again and highly recommend if you are in the Asheville/Candler area. Thank you Pam for such a great place.

My sisters, niece, and son had a peaceful, relaxing visit, including an excursion to Looking Glass Falls on the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway. Owner Pam was very helpful and allowed my 14-year-old dog, 'Ol Cam, to accompany me. Wish we could have stayed longer...!!!

Enjoyed our stay. Only concern was around the internet. Some of us had to work while staying there and the. Internet service cut in and out too much so we had to go into town for better reception. Other than that really enjoyed the property

The space was great with lots of beds. The location was very good. About 30 minutes from the Biltmore but easy in and out of Asheville. Running creek all around so loved that sound. Very clean. Had a bit of a time getting acclimated to the way the heaters work but then all was well.

The space here was very nice for ten adults. We gathered in the cabin for meals and hanging out & used the main house as sleeping quarters for three of the couples. One of the couples slept in their travel van instead of using the murphy bed which is right next to the other bed in the cabin. We did have to bring a few things over from the main house because the cabin didn't have enough pans or a toaster (the rules say not to move anything between houses, but we did return everything to its original place). A few things to be aware of: The propane tank for the grill was empty and there was not a backup tank, we had to buy another as that is not included in the cost of the rental. You'll also need to bring your own shower & laundry products. (I've stayed at other VRBO's that supplied them, since most of the group flew in from out of state and didn't check a bag with the airlines, we hadn't been able to bring liquids. We didn't plan on washing all of our clothes or anything like that but sometimes you just need to throw a load in!) Overall, we enjoyed this location & will be better prepared next time!

What a perfect location! We enjoyed being secluded in the mountains, but only about a 20
minute drive into Asheville. The property was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, and just as described on the listing. Our family enjoyed a lot of time in the creek. We hope to visit again next summer.

The property was just what we were looking for - a nice quiet getaway in the mountains. And the nearby creek was an added bonus! We loved being here and used the fire pit almost every night of our stay. Pam was very responsive to all my questions and my friends and I all had a great time!

The cabin is absolutely adorable and in a very beautiful location! We loved our stay at this secluded cabin and enjoyed catching up with friends on the screened in porches and relaxing in hot tub. Easy 20-30 minute trip into Asheville but as expected it is difficult to get Uber/Taxis to pick up out at this location. Overall, a great stay and would love to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. Both properties were clean as could be. Kids loved the creek and pool table. The screen porch of the small cottage is amazing! Highly recommend!

Awesome cabin, super close to Blue Ridge Parkway, clean and plenty of space. Really good place to disconnect, and out of town enough to get away from people but still get into Asheville if you need to.

This 2 house property was perfect for our family!
The in-laws loved their privacy and own space while staying at the creek side cabin
The main house was a great 3+ bedroom and 2 bath house for the rest of us. Each home was very clean and comfortable. Property has a hot tub but we didn’t use it. Each home had DVD players and Netflix. We enjoyed the screened in porch at creekside for morning coffee. This location is great. Private and quiet. Ingles grocery store is 15 minutes away. FYI…This property has Ring Doorbells at each home. So we were probably monitored each time we entry/exit. The road to get to the property is steep and curvy. Could be impassable if snowed.
Would definitely stay here again.

The main house and guest house are SO stinking cozy and comfortable…quintessential cabin in the woods…straight out of a fantasy! Family of 9, ranging in age from 71 though 4…we all loved the property itself. The hot tub, hiking, porch sitting, babbling stream, wildlife absolutely banged! The internet connection and Dish TV were ridiculously poor, you’re better-off assuming you’ll live like “you’re off the grid.” We we’re there over Christmas….it was a BIG bummer to not stream any of the classics w the kids or to take in NFL games Christmas afternoon. (Zero access to network television channels…for example). The dryer stopped working and there was a rat problem in 1 kitchen, which I assume the owners will eradicate as everyone associated with this house is extremely helpful and responsive.

Cute, quaint older mountain home. Conveniently located to everything. Small home but with additional game room property next door it gave just enough space to stretch out comfortably and have some fun.

Fall colors, in the Pisgah National Forest, at this incredible property with friends was outstanding!! The property was extremely clean (even the rockers outside) well maintained and stocked well. Fireplaces in main house and cabin made it cozy. Tons of windows to view this beautiful foliage. Beds were comfortable. Communication with Pam (owner) was easy and pleasurable. Will be going back next year to catch the Rhododendrons in bloom. Carol & Mark

We did a friends group trip. 7 adults very comfortably stayed here. We took full advantage of the gas grill, the hot tub, the pool table and the fire pit. Having 2 buildings really helped us feel spread out. Event though the back neighbors are close, it still felt like we were secluded, like a little place just for us. It was fantastic!

This property was so perfect for our group to get out of the city and into the mountains. Both houses offer fully stocked kitchens to cook for a group and we loved using the hot tub or fire pit at night. Easy drive to local hikes, breweries, and downtown Asheville. Can't recommend enough!

Our group stayed with a family of 5 and one adult couple. (For us there were plenty of towels) We were well taken care of, check-out was simple and easy and the owner was great with communication. Having two buildings for our families was PERFECT with nap times and different schedules. The kids loved having outdoor spaces to play and the adults could not get enough of the screened in porch! Thank you for being so responsive as a host!
