It was a great experience and a cool setting to have have drinks and talk. We didn't even cut on one TV the whole time. This is a awesome place to get away.

Really cool place. Great property and convenient to Asheville and surrounding area. Outstanding recommendation from the host, Dupont Forest is a must see while the other 1/2 of our party went to Biltmore. And, yes Max is pretty cool too! Had a great visit. Plenty of room, but read the details on the bedrooms.

Loved the converted barn- perfect spot for our mountain getaway! Very comfortable and cozy with the fireplace and fun game room. Loved the pastoral setting- very nice owners!

We couldn’t imagine a better host than Max the dog! He greeted us at our cars when we arrived and guided us wherever we went on the property, whether it was just for a quick stroll to see the horses or a hike through the wooded trails. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit at night where he would check in on us during his patrols. After coming back from a day out on the town he was always waiting to greet us and receive some belly rubs. Beautiful secluded property and home, highly recommend!

We enjoyed the house, and the location. The title page says 4 bedrooms, and the filter to find houses with 4 bedrooms was the way we found the house. However, the house only has 3 bedrooms. When I reached out to the host, they informed me that "the listing shows the house only having 3 bedrooms." When I went back to check, it was in the details, but not on the main page (which is how the filter works). As a group of friends, we still enjoyed our time together. But the inaccuracy of the listing caused unnecessary headaches that detracted from our trip, and the host's curt response without acknowledging the error got our trip started in a negative light. If the main page of the listing had been correct, we would have moved on to another house that suited our needs.

The place was great, plenty of room inside with a lot to do and great fire pit outside.
The internet stopped working the 1st day we were there and there was no cell service so we could not communicate with anyone else who was traveling the next day. I tried to call the host but without internet or cell there was no way to contact them. Even when we were out doing things where i did have service and tried to call no one answered. It came back on the 2nd day in the afternoon but the signal was weak. We could not watch TV or stream music so we just listed to music that had already been downloaded.

Thia property does not disappoint. From the dog Max greeting you when you arrive, to every morning at your door, to him helping you along your hikes this dog is so much fun. The landscape is breathtaking and the kids had so much fun in the creek. Close to wonderful scenic drive and to downtown Asheville for some exploring. The hosts are amazing and very friendly, we had an amazing time.

My customer was very pleased with their stay. They said it was very nice, well maintained, and just a relaxing time away from their business.

Wanted something modern to accommodate three couples - found this tucked away in the outskirts of Asheville. Owners home is next door and in-view - there are horses, fields, a donkey, deer, and most importantly - Max - the friendliest escort dog we've ever met. He hiked with us on the trail around the property and enjoyed hanging with us on the back porch and by the fire pit at night. Very close to downtown A'ville and all the breweries like Highland and Sierra Nevada. Short drives in any direction depending on what you are there to do. Fully furnished game room with pool table and updated kitchen with all appliances. Highly recommended for large groups! Even had scores of books to read! Only recommendation might be to upgrade to king size beds in all bedrooms but that's only a personal preference. A+!

Excellent House
The property was spectacular and better than the pictures. The game room with antique games added even more charm than I could imagine. We fell in love with Max, the dog. He was always there when we needed him. Luckily, we had a beautiful day so we were able to walk around the trails on the property and got a great workout.
I wish the house guide/manual had more guidance on the location for light switches/how to turn things on and one outdoor lightbulb in a sconce was burnt out so we just used a flashlight (which they provided!)
I'm sending this house to my friends who want amazing mountain house getaways!

Charming!
Great experience. Clean, beautiful property. Only thing I would note, there didn't appear to be any coffee, and the provided hair dryer didn't work.
Stayed here before and would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and secluded.
This property is beautiful and a great location! After leaving we wished we had just planned a day to stay at the property instead of going on excursions. The property is as advertised!

Cool space in beautiful surroundings.
Our group of 3 couples had a great stay. The space is very cool. It’s basically two large rooms, a game/entertainment room, and a great room with kitchen, dining area, and tv. All the bedrooms are immediately off of the great room, so if you think you can sneak away for some romance or need to have an argument, it will not be a secret. But for us 6, there was plenty of room, and night owls could have fun in the game room without disturbing those who went to bed earlier.
The space seems to be the top floor of an old barn. The bottom is storage used by the owners. The owner’s house is close by, but we only saw them a handful of times in passing. They really respected our space but were happy to offer suggestions of things to do. Max the dog, a beautiful and sweet Lassie-type dog; however, was happy to hang out us. But after some pets and greetings he usually got bored and ran off.
The surrounding property is beautiful. I have stayed in the Asheville area numerous times, and I think this property and the scenery along the road and driveway are some of the prettiest I have seen in the area.
There is a nice Ingles close by, and Asheville is about 20 minutes away. We stayed three nights, and everyone wished we had one or two more nights to take more advantage of the hot tub, fire pit, and game room.

Perfect Getaway
Took a trip here with girlfriends and we had a blast! The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was perfect and the animals were a nice touch!

Amazing Family Memories
This was a great place to bring the whole family and relax. We had plenty to do at and, around the property. It is close to Asheville, tons of waterfalls, parks along the river for walking andfor the kids to play on. We loved being out of the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to make it there in 20 min. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Their dog Max was so sweet and friendly.

Wonderful stay!
We were in the home over Christmas and to our delight it was beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but plenty good for the four of us. The rest of the house provides plenty of space. The hot tub was great and the pool table provided fun. We even had several visits with Pebbles, the owner’s dog. She even came inside and watched me cook for about a half an hour! My dad left his leather jacket behind and they very nicely sent it to us in VA. Overall it was a great experience!

Great to come for Christmas and visit Biltmore
My husband and I have always wanted to bring our kids to see the Christmas lights at Biltmore and this house was perfect to do that! Nice and quiet setting, very close to Asheville/Biltmore. The house is immaculate and very cozy. Melodie had the Christmas tree up and decorations throughout. It was perfect! Loved little Pebbles who came to visit everyday. The ONLY negative is the driveway (it is shared and single car--had to back up a few times) but a small price to pay for a wonderful place to stay!

Not what we expected
Hot tub had a layer of ice and was covered with 2 pieces of plywood. Asked for pictures of the bedrooms before we stayed, understand why they were never sent as the rooms were a joke. Master bedroom has a twin bed. Fire place didn’t work. Couldn’t get an Uber to save our lives. Terrible stay and terrible host. House is listed for sale and they clearly don’t care about it anymore. Highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay.

Great location for bachelorette party or family stay
We loved this house--truly unique. We were there for a bachelorette party, but many of the women thought it would be a great place to come back to with their families. Everything was clean, and Melody responded immediately when we had questions. Pebbles was a delight! It was easy to get an Uber from Asheville back to the property, but we did have a hard time getting one to pick us up. We called Asheville Taxi Company instead and that worked out well. Overall, a really great experience and would recommend!

Exactly What I Hoped For
I rented this property with a few other guys for a bachelor party in Asheville and it was everything we hoped for. The property was beautiful, clean and close enough to everything we needed. The pool table, hot tub, and TVs provided for plenty of entertainment for the guys, and Melanie was very responsive when we realized the grill was out of gas. Pebbles is an incredibly sweet dog who hangs out around the property and was by far our collective favorite part of the cabin. I would recommend this home for any family or larger group such as ours wanting to stay in the area, as it is situated on a beautiful property with tons of activity options nearby. Having a rental car will help as it was sometimes hard to find Ubers to town from the cabin, but there was no issue getting rides back to the cabin. 10/10!

As advertised, close proximity to Asheville
We rented this property for a guys weekend. There are three bedrooms with queen or larger beds, but a ton of floor space for other air mattresses/etc. The kitchen is equipped with standard utensils, but little else. There is a nice front patio/grass area that we used to play yard games. The owners do live onsite, but in a separate property just FYI.

Everything we wanted
Had a wonderful stay for my Son's wedding. It is close enough to everything yet secluded and private. We spent more time than planned just hanging out and hiking around the property. For large groups this is a great location.

Great experience with this property and manager. The house is absolutely immaculate! The bedroom situation was not ideal for a large group that are not all family but we made it work and everyone enjoyed. Beautiful setting!

Peaceful setting
Great location. Only 12 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 30 minutes from Asheville. A peaceful setting surrounded by great wildlife. Plus added bonus Is Pebbles the owners dog who loves to greet guests. This is our third time staying here and it only get better.
