About this house rental
In central Boulder, on a quarter acre, sits our quiet and comfortable home. A 20 acre park is outside the back gate with an outdoor olympic-size pool, newly refurbished water park and playground, skate park, and ballpark. The Boulder bike path is also out the back gate, so getting around via bicycle or walking is an easy option.
A few blocks from CU and the 29th Street Mall, this central location is ideal for enjoying all that Boulder has to offer.
This 1952-built house has been upgraded. Both of the bathrooms are new, as is the kitchen. It's solar heated and powered for a lighter footprint. We've radiant heat for the winter, and AC (mini-splits) for the summer.
**** The booking adult must be at least 30-years old. Parties are not allowed. This is our home, and we'll appreciate you treating this as if it's your house. Sorry, and strangely, glitter and Axe Body products are not allowed.
There are 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a Cal King bed, it's own bathroom, and a loft office with an outside deck. The 'purple bedroom' has a queen bed. A third bedroom room has a double bed. The screened and covered patio off the dining room is a lovely place to enjoy the magical backyard. An olympic-sized swimming pool at Scott Carpenter Park is just out our back gate, as is a great playground and grass hill.
The dining room boasts two large windows and a lovely sitting area with a glider chair and clavinova piano. We've wireless internet, and a brand new sectional couch in the living room. We have YouTube TV, Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime.
City of Boulder license #RHL2017-00279 and only 3 unrelated occupants are allowed to rent the space.
There are two Ring security cameras, one at the front door and one near the back door.

We loved the home and the Park behind us. Our vacation was great and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the lovely back screened porch at night. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed family time on it each night. The only issue was the main bedroom had no storage for clothes. There was no closet for hanging clothes and no empty drawers so we had to live out of our suitcase. That was easy to overcome since everything else was great. Thanks for sharing you home with us.

Perfect location and home base for visiting my college daughter.

Eric and Shanti have graciously opened their house to others who want to experience life in Boulder. We visited our daughter (who lives in Boulder ) over Thanksgiving and this was a great place to gather.
We were a family with an infant, toddler, their parents and grandparents. The house is clean, spacious, and abuts a park with a playground. That's one reason I chose it - we walked out the back gate with our toddler and played there.
The house is remodeled inside as you can see from the photos. Everything we needed for Thanksgiving was there. When we had questions they were quickly answered.
We would love to come back in other seasons to take advantage of the screened-in porch, the yard, and the neighborhood.
I highly recommend others to stay here.

This was the perfect place for our long weekend visiting our older daughter at CU Boulder. Our younger 10yo daughter lover the park with playground just out the back gate. The water park was closed for the season but looks like a lot of fun.
Our younger daughter left a note in their guest comments book, and the owners emailed a very nice reply which our daughter will be thrilled to read after she gets out of school today!

The house was great, as advertised. Clean, updated, nice large peaceful backyard. If you are looking to do anything at CU, downtown Boulder this is an ideal, walkable destination. Short drive to the Flat Irons as well. Highly recommend

Location, Location, Location
Property is located close to CU Boulder campus and within walking distance to 29th street mall. The backyard is large and backs up to a park. We are a family of 4 adults and there was plenty of room to entertain and feed a group of 10 adults on Thanksgiving.

Comfortable home in the center of Boulder
Charming house in the center of Boulder. Backs up to a great waterpark (which our kids loved!). Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and the Boulder Creek Path. The owners were wonderful — kind, thorough, and communicative. Highly recommended.

A GREAT stay in uncertain times
Eric and Shanti were FABULOUS hosts! The house was perfert for us to attend a wedding in Longmont. 3 couples explored Boulder, and the surrounding area for 4 days. Weather was perfect. We played games in the back yard, went for walks in the park, and are ALL coming home to order the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. (tuft & neeedle). The house was clean, and exactly as advertised. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect House for a Weekend in Boulder
This house is super comfy and clean. Everything is how it should be to make a guest feel at home. We also loved how convenient the location was, with direct access to the highway, neighboring creek trial, and proximity to downtown. A perfect choice.

Truly great house.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely home. It’s in a great location (central to just about everything), it is immaculate with everything one could want from a vacation rental. It is very well stocked and comfortable. It has a great solar radiant heating system throughout that keeps the house at a perfect temperature 24/7.
Eric and Shanti were very helpful and super easy to deal with.
We were there looking at CU Boulder for our daughter. If she ends up going there, we will definitely try and stay at this house again when we visit.

Great Place to stay in Boulder
We enjoyed our time in Boulder and this property had a lot to do with it. We were in town mainly for a football game and this was within a short 10 minute walk to campus. Easy access to major roads to get out for some site seeing as well. The house has a fantastic covered back porch where we spent most of our downtime. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Adorable house - great location!
LOVE the house! So cute and VERY well-appointed! Most of our time at the house was spent on the back porch looking out into the beautiful, private back yard. PERFECT location! Just off the Boulder Creek trail so we walked or biked everywhere.
The only negative was - despite the on-line description saying it had air conditioning - the house was NOT air conditioned. During cooler months, this would not have been an issue; but it was quite warm during our stay. At the very least there should be ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. A friend staying with us purchased a box fan to use during our stay (and left it there for future renters).
Back to a more positive note... the owners were VERY nice and provided us with detailed instructions for everything. We had a welcome basket with wine and other goodies. Nice touch!

Very clean home with a very comfortable back porch that looks out into a beautiful backyard garden & park on other side of gate. Easy walk to Boulder Creek. Enjoyed use of their bikes.

Perfect Location, Lovely home, had everything we needed
Can't beat the location- the park is out back with a walking trail that goes all the way up into the canyon. Plus we walked to the grocery and to Zolo's, and could Uber easily on the night we went out with friends. Everything was clean and there were a number of small touches that were nice, like the bottle of wine and fresh flowers and baskets with coffee and tea and easy-to-grab snacks. We said numerous times on this trip how glad we were for the extra space afforded by a whole house instead of a hotel. We would absolutely stay here again, hopefully this summer so we can enjoy Boulder in the summertime!

Charming home away from home
This home has such a cozy, yet open feel. Loved the backporch and backyard; large, comfortable sofa; well appointed kitchen; nice sized bedrooms and baths. Our CU freshman enjoyed a break from the dorm and a few home cooked meals. Location is perfect...walk to campus/stadium, quick drive to everything in town, and the trail right out the back door. Communication was quick and detailed. The welcome basket and fresh flowers were a lovely touch! We did not want to leave! Thank you Eric and Shanti for sharing your home with us.

Great house, in a great location!!
From the first email I, to the last with Eric I felt like this was going to be a special trip! The house was awesome, and super clean! They left a very nice welcome basket for us that we thoroughly enjoyed! I would absolutely recommend this home, and will book again for my next trip to Boulder..

Graduation Extravaganza
Our youngest daughter graduated from UC-Boulder this past weekend and we loaded up the sisters, brother in law and baby nephew to go celebrate all her hard work! We loved the place and Eric and Shanti couldn't have been more accomodating. They sourced us a porta-crib and a high chair, set it all up and left us a welcoming basket complete with fresh fruit, a CD of Shanti's making and champagne to boot! What a very, very pleasant place to stay. The location was prime, the setting was wonderful and the home just flowed.....we felt as though we were staying in their home. Highly recommend it.

Cozy, Location - Great for groups of 4
We just had a enjoyable short 3 night stay for a friends birthday weekend for 4 of us in our early forties. The hosts Eric & Shanti were welcoming and gave us a tour when we checked in. They live in this house when guests are not around , so this gives the property a very warm and cozy "lived in" feel. The location is fantastic as most provisions, eat outs were within 5 minutes. Pearl Street, FlatIrons, Boulder Canyon - all within 10 minutes drive. The backyard opens to a park where you can bike/run.There were goodies like tea/coffee/fruits/hot chocolates left for guests & the host left us a bottle of wine - a nice touch! There is a deck and patio but it is the patio where you will hang out - one minor suggestion would be to have some music options in the patio. The Living Room TV is the only one in the entire house & has Netflix/Amazon Prime to entertain. Overall a great stay!

Fantastic location, wonderful home - friendly vibe.
I stayed here with a friend - and our four combined college aged kids (we came to Boulder for "admittance day". I love to run and there's a great running path along the creek - a grocery store is across the street and one could conceivably walk to campus (and to the "land of giant malls". There's also a great yoga studio < 1 mile away.
House was in perfect condition - we received the royal treatment in terms of food and beverages. Rooms were clean, nicely decorated - we felt that we were staying in someone's house who was a close friend of ours! Fresh flowers throughout and the fireplace was a nice bonus (we had a bit of snow during our visit).
We would absolutely come back here again. Thank you to the hosts for rolling out the red carpet for our visit.

Nice house in a great location!
We enjoyed our stay at Eric and Shanti's house. We were visiting our son who attends CU and the location of the house was great. We could walk to the campus and his apartment and we were even able to walk to Pearl Street. The house was very clean upon arrival and it had a very nice porch and back yard. Eric and Shanti stopped by upon our arrival to explain how things worked and left a basket filled with coffees, teas, a bottle of wine and some snacks. If you are visiting someone at CU we would recommend this house. Thank you Eric and Shanti for sharing your home with us! Cindy and Paul
