Great place for fishing
We have rented Lynn's place a number of times. Each time it has been terrific, and this time we noticed many upgrages in the kitchen and dining area.
We have a group of four fishing buddies who love to go to Everglades City to fish. We stay at Lynn's place, rent a boat in town, and dock it on the island where the property is located. The manager of the association is very helpful and accommodating, and the location is perfect for what we want. We look forward to returning.

Island Life
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well maintained and comfortable house surrounded by riverfront. The wrap around screen porch is awesome with comfortable furniture and that is where we spent the bulk of our time on the Island. The Concierges/ Boat Captain and Mate were incredibly helpful and very punctual. Would not hesitate to recommend this house to family and friends.

Wish we could live here!
What a nice property! The favorite parts of this week long trip were: relaxing on the porch (enjoying the peace and quiet and view) and fishing on our boat among the mangrove islands. The Smallwood Store museum is an interesting place too. Used the kitchen quite a bit. Thanks Lynn for the comfortable and clean house.

Holiday break
We came to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday & Christmas break. Thought it would be nice to escape the cold weather of the north east & celebrate in the sunshine. It felt like a tropical paradise. My husband & sons like to fish & enjoy wildlife so we thought this would be a great spot. Lots of nature- fish jumping (not much catching) but they enjoyed despite the bugs(bring bug spray). The house was very well stocked with all essentials. This is great because you have to access the property via boat. Cindy & Brian were amazing and helped make our stay so enjoyable. We went for an airboat ride - toured around Big Cypress Park , hit the beach at Marco island & visited EGNP durning our visit.
Beautiful place to visit! Thank you .

Amazing Experience
The island property is unlike any other I’ve ever stayed at in the Everglades ( which I’ve been visiting for 30 years). By far the nicest place in the glades I’ve ever stayed at.

Another great stay at our secluded island "home away from home"
We were so happy to return to Lynn's island cabin again this year! Our family of six adults made good use of the wrap-around porch, shorefront yard, BBQ grill, pool, fish cleaning area and boat dock. We had some great days on the water - picnicking and shell-searching on nearby islands and catching some nice snapper, redfish, pompano and trout for the grill. The house itself was again very clean and well-equipped. I even baked a birthday cake! The spacious floor plan offered lots of room to spread out and relax, and the third bathroom came in handy for a larger group like ours. Lynn was easy to reach and very pleasant and helpful, and the island hosts were ready and willing to ferry us to and from the island as needed and respond to any issues. If we could have extended our stay, we would have. We are already working on plans for a return trip!

Beautiful Home
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. Our family of five had a wonderful time during our stay over the winter break from school. We have 3 children ages 13, 10 and 7 and they loved exploring the island and the Everglades! We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the banks of the island. We were suprised and delighted by the many varieties of fish we caught. We also spent a lot of time hanging out on the enclosed patio together playing games and listening to the wildlife after dark. The house had everything we could have needed during our stay and there were a lot of activities in the area to keep the kids entertained. Thanks again. It was a holiday we will never forget!

The perfect vacation home in a tranquil, natural and beautiful setting- and SO MUCH to do nearby!
This home was PERFECT for our family of six adults. High ceilings created a spacious feel, and the four teens/young adults staying in the bunk room were pleased with the comfort of the bunkbeds. The 2 1/2 baths made life easy, even with our large group. Views were amazing from every window- water on three sides! We were entertained without even leaving our yard by catching Snapper and Catfish from shore, grilling our dinners, and watching crab boats chug by. The wraparound porch offered gorgeous views from every angle, and was perfect for happy hour and a game of cards. We also made use of the tennis and basketball courts just a short walk from the mainland ferry landing, then boated to the Camellia Street Grill, one of three seafood shacks just a few minutes ride away, for a great lunch including alligator bites and fish tacos. Dockage at the cabin was easy and so convenient- just outside our door! We hired a guide for some fishing, and fished on our own- catching Redfish and Trout. We cleaned them at the station right on the dock and grilled them at the cabin. Delicious! We loved beaching the boat on quiet islands to swim, picnic and search for shells. Shells within the park are not to be removed, so we just took pictures. We loved seeing the dolphins play! Brian and Cindie were ALWAYS friendly and helpful- and FAST. The cabin was impeccably clean. All in all, our vacation was perfect. I am certain we will be back!

Even better than described, peaceful and charming. Clean, comfortable, and private. Will return!
The home was very clean and the decor was tasteful and fit well with the setting. Beds were comfortable, large showers, full kitchen...cant say enough positive about this place. The deck on this unit is by far the best on the island, and there are many opportunities for viewing wildlife, including ospray, dolphins, manatees, and purple martins. Brian and Cindie, the perfect concierge couple, are wonderful hosts on the island and it is very easy to get to. We will be looking forward to returning in the near future, and after 6 years of visiting this area, this was our favorite place to stay.

The home is beautiful. We have never stayed in a better equipped vacation home. It is obvious that owner has put a lot of thought into ever detail. The weather can be unpredictable and having this home to hang out in literally saved our trip !!! Thank you and we cannot wait to come back!

SECRET LITTLE PARADISE
My husband, my sister & i were absolutely thrilled with our stay in this beautiful home! Everything was perfect & the view outstanding! We are bird photographers from Michigan & we were treated to a great show every day with eagles & osprey fighting over a nest right across from our porch! We got some great images of them fishing. The island & town is very quiet - we loved it! The coup de gras were the island caretakers - Brian & Cindy! They are so friendly & accomadating - they go above & beyond!! We used Everglade City as our base for day trips to photograph- birds. Our week of weather was a little cool but we were comfortable in the sunshine. We definitely want to return & hope we can next year. This island is a special spot. Thank you Lyn for sharing your home.

The best view and home on the island!!!!
Positively the most stunning home with an incredible view that you can possibly imagine. There are canoes to rent, we brought our boat which was great and the dick is right there. The children were also able to fish right from the rocks when we returned. There are thousands places to explore by boat. There is also an enormous screened-in porch which allows you to "never" leave the porch, if that is what you choose. We saw manatees ( a mother and calf) and alligator, birds, and the most stunning stars. We had the most memorable week and the owners were such a pleasure to rent from. There is everything you can possibly imagine right there. We had 1 rainy day and ventured to Naples for shopping and great restaurants. We will definitely come back.
