This place is very nice and the view is spectacular. We saw tons of wildlife from inside the house. It was truly a great experience and a great place to stay for those wanting to visit Everglades City.

This is our second stay at the "Cypress Cottage" and we love it. Location is fantastic, the house is amazing, the host is great. We can't say enough good things about the community. This is a Florida hidden gem. Our favorite part is bringing fresh caught fish to any of the local restaurants, having them cook it fresh and having a cold drink. 10 out of 10.

The house was immaculate and wonderfully stocked for every possible need or want. The owner was very helpful and the dock and water view are spectacular and it is very convenient to everything. Couldn’t ask for a nicer rental. Highly recommended!

Extremely impressed with the house, cleanliness and communication with the manager. This will be where we stay for our annual trip. Would recommend 100%. If any improvements could be made, I would say increased water pressure in the shower. Thanks again!

We had a really great holiday weekend. The house looks exactly as pictured. The window in the great room is the highlight. The communication and checkin was a breeze. I beautiful home overlooking a river and the edge of the Everglades. My family loved starting the day having breakfast gazing out the picture windows and the fish jumping in the water. The home has everything we needed to be comfortable and is located in a beautiful small town where we could easily grab food from a restaurant or groceries. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our visit to the Everglades.

As soon as we entered the house our grandson said “This is a 5 Star for sure.” We loved this house. The wall of windows on the back of the house overlooking the River and dock/deck below was great. So much light and beautifully updated. We wished we were staying longer.

House was great, except for the inability to adjust the air conditioning/ climate control which was locked in and could only be controlled by the host, remotely. The owner did send instructions to try changing yhe thermostat locally, but it would not respond, just show that it was locked in. House: Everything was pretty new, appliances and supplies were all good. The only problem with the rental was the location which was on the main road through the town and on the way to the next town. The house is about 50-75 yards from a Circle-k, which is great for food and gas, but really noisy at night. Was woken up several times throughout the night by cars stopping, blasting music, even supply trucks as early as 6am. House had a dock for my boat which was great, 28' boat with a 16" draft. Tide varies greatly (4-5'), so tie up accordingly

Very clean and well appointed vacation rental. We all have allergies and we did very well. The beds were comfortable and the views were fantastic. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and walking to Circle K.

We had a wonderful stay. This home is modern, clean, and has a wonderful view of the water. The layout is very spacious and open, and the bedrooms are on either side of the common area. It was a perfect home base while we explored the Western side of Everglades NP and Big Cypress NWR.

Enjoyed the location, ease of access, quality of property, and beautiful scenery! We didn’t catch anything off the dock with artificials but seemed to always be trying during low tide, I’m sure there’s great fishing during high tide for sure! Great local restaurants to check out as well. Thoroughly recommend this house and would consider staying again!

We loved the Cypress Cottage. It was super clean and even prettier than the pictures. It was a great home base for exploring the area. We loved walking down the street for dinner at the Camellia Street Grill and we also really enjoyed the nearby National Parks boat tour of the Ten Thousand Islands.

Our week long stay at Cypress Cottage was perfect . The cottage was spacious and so comfortable. We loved the panoramic window which was perfect for wildlife spotting . The kitchen was well stocked and the washing machine and tumble dryer very easy to use. The location is excellent with easy access to lots of activities . Fantastic Stay!

Enjoyed our stay....however, the HUGE picture window/wall of glass was the showstopper! Sitting in the morning and evenings looking out the window was like looking at a huge piece of art, like a mural, yet it was mother nature at its finest. Mangroves, birds, water, fish, and watching the boats go by. Great location.

The property itself is wonderful - very clean, well decorated and well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable few days near Everglades National Park. We found the house to be perfect for myself, my husband, and our friend. We enjoyed going into the park for the Shark Valley bike trail and an airboat tour.

We were looking for a place close to family we were visiting at Everglade Isle. This house was prefect! It’s new, clean, and modern. The windows open to the water give you a great view (but the sun is bright in the morning and there are no shades). We fished off the dock. You can walk from the house to anywhere in town very easily. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The Cypress Cottage is like a diamond in the beautiful “rough” that is Everglades City. While the guys went fishing, my aunt, son and I enjoyed birding (and gator spotting!) from the sweeping picture windows and dock, as well as exploring the area’s quirky attractions. The cabin is rustic in a fresh and contemporary way, beckoning you to slip on fuzzy socks and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Be sure to head out back at night for otherworldly stargazing. Thank you, Georgio, for opening your doors to our family.

We stayed for 2 nights. We were very comfortable with 2 families (4 adults & 3 children under 8). The dock, house & amenities were exactly what we needed and had everything we looked for. The host was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back.

A true gem in the Everglades!

A true gem in the Everglades!

My family stayed at this home over the holidays for a few days of backcountry fishing. I'm almost reluctant to give this home a 5-star rating because I'd like to keep it my secret. The home is immaculate, spotless and well appointed. The Owner was always immediately available for last-minute questions. We tried our best to leave the home as spotless as we found it; I pray future guests do the same. I've stayed at numerous nearby properties for the last 25 years, and this is by far the nicest.
