I really enjoyed my stay here, a balance between chill & whatever adventures you might want to do

Quiet a little away from crowds, still walking distance though Pool was lovely size & quiet most days Staff very helpful, extra service i.e laundry, day trips

Whilst there were quite a few breakfast options they weren’t to my taste & left uncovered

Gute Lage nahe am Zentrum von La Fortuna. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (wie überall in CR, wo wir waren). Schöner Pool, schöne Vegetation ums Haus herum.

Superb

Located right at the edge of La Fortuna, quiet with walkable distance to the centre. On a sunny day you can see nicely vulcan from. Birds singing in the morning, hummingbirds and we saw one iguana by the pool:) Simply paradise

It was good but maybe not the best for large groups

Exceptional

The hotel was clean, outside of main downtown so it was peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and the pool was relaxing as well.

Not a negative, just a heads up thats its like a 10 min walk to downtown. Lots of convenience store nearby, which was perfect.

Excellent tourist accommodation, set back from La Fortuna town centre - peaceful.

The staff were helpful and friendly, room was excellent with great facilities. Pool was great and well shielded from the hotel rooms.

There was little or no sound insulation between guest rooms. The breakfast although included in the room price, could have been a little better.

Exceptional

The location was great, the views were amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cute dogs! Very clean with comfortable beds. Lovely hot showers. Tasty breakfast.Everything was great, even the cool pool was nice! Also the laundry service was very efficient and smelt amazing! 🥰

We didn't find anything we didn't like. Only suggestion is maybe a kettle in the room for big tea/coffee drinkers but then again there are a few great coffee shops in town.

Very good

Rooms spacious with comfy beds. All facilities clean & well maintained. Location good - only a 20 minute walk into town which suited us as nice not to be in the centre. Easyhop stop only 3 minutes away

Only chairs by the pool, would have been nice to have sunloungers. Breakfast OK but need to get there early as buffet-style

This place is a hidden gem within the heart of rainforest that has an excellent staff!!!

This place is a hidden gem with wonderful views right outside your room. It’s in great walking distance from down La Fortuna and all the things rainforest has to offer. This place is family owned and such a wonderful family and staff. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good too!

While I felt our room was pretty clean for most part I did notice and few spider webs in the bathroom. I would just suggest even more thorough cleaning. However, that is not that big of an issue being you are literally staying in the heart of rainforest.

Disappointing, Staff does not seem to care much about their guests

Housekeepers were nice.

Rooms wall very tiny, so it can get very noisy. I could not sleep properly the last nights because I could hear the neighbours snoring as if there were in my room. More importantly, I had an issue with an illegal driver (I should have been more careful) and when he dropped me at the hotel, he assaulted me, insulted me and physically attacked me because I refused to be cheated. This happened inside this hotel, in front of the whole staff who did not even raise a finger. Even later, when I called the touristic police who came at the hotel for the report, they just did not even care at all, and they let me navigate this situation on my own as if it was a complete stranger or if it was happening on the street. I dont speak much spanish so I was expecting them to support a bit. It was very disappointed because I spent almost 7 days there. Just for that I will not be coming back

Great group holiday to La Fortuna

Great value for money and rooms were clean. Breakfast was very local cuisine and was really nice to experience. Swimming pool was also great with unbelievable views of the volcano when the clouds disappeared.

Not much for the price as was great value for money. Most of the staff did not speak much english however was much more of an authentic experience of costa rica

Good stay, has potential to be much better

The appartment is very spacious and contains 2 bedrooms and a semi-large bathroom. The pool looks really nice and the location is great (5 min walk towards the beach). Beds were really nice and every room had a separate air-conditioning.

Walls are very thin so you can hear, for example, the people at the pool quite good. We found some cockroaches in the room and mentioned it to the staff, they provided us with a bug repelling spray but didn't work really well. When checking out there wasn't anyone to be found on site so had to leave the keys with the cleaning staff.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Such a nice place to stay.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem!!! The road to the hotel was a little rough, but we were very pleasantly surprised to find a gorgeous hotel with great landscaping, a very nice pool, clean and comfortable room with great beds. We liked the hotel so much we booked it for an additional day. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends! Thanks for a lovely stay Campos Arenal!

Great value at a great location.

Location was excellent...Walking distance to downtown La Fortuna. Our room was recently renovated and the hotel was in good shape. The pool was adequate with phenomenal views of the volcano. Breakfast was pretty standard, but keep in mind how much this hotel charges per night. I wasn't expecting all that much. Overall, this was a great value hotel that will meet or exceed your expectations based on its price.

Overall, a really nice quiet family run hotel with very friendly staff.

Breakfasts were very good with a nice variety of choices. The location is within comfortable walking distance of town.

The hotel has a nice pool but would have liked to have had better lighting for evening use.

Very good

Breakfest was good. tropical fruit plate -delicious. Beautifull view of the volcano from the pool!

We stayed in 2 rooms. In one room was smell -am not sure if it was smell of mold or of some bugs repellent. Both rooms were clean so we couldn't figure out why only one room had that weird smell. Smell disapeared the next day so all good.

Charming place off the beaten path in La Fortuna

This hotel had an amazing view of the Volcano and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and a great way to start the day. The location was nice as it was a little outside of the town and it was relatively easy to walk into La Fortuna on a regular basis.

The rooms didn't have a view of the volcano so I feel like there was an opportunity there to make it a little more spectacular. The staff was very helpful but didn't speak too much English, we needed to rely on our little knowledge of Spanish!

It was lovely! Pura Vida

The breakfast was so delicious and prepared with a lot of love. The hotel is run by a family who are all very warm and accommodating. We were also able to have our laundry done, which was very helpful. The location is very good. You are not far from the center of town but still a bit out of the action. The green area of the hotel is also very nicely kept and beautifies every morning. Only the wifi could be a little better, especially in the outer rooms. Otherwise, I have nothing to say about it. My girlfriend and I had a very nice time. Pura Vida!

Very good value for money in La Fortuna

Nice quiet location a bit outside the city center. Good breakfast (we are not big breakfast lovers). Nice swimming pool.

The comfort of our stay depended from the courtesy of other guests. We could easily hear next room conversations, but luckily it was ok by sleep time. The pool was great but no other furniture available to spend time around the pool
