Ubicación, tenían parking gratuito y precio razonable. La vista desde el hall es espectacular.
Las habitaciones podrían ser mejores, pero están aceptables.

Reasonably priced. Good location, friendly owner!
Small shower/bathroom. Clean room - shared spaces weren’t terrible but not super clean.

Está ubicado en el centro de La Fortuna, muy céntrico
Le falta mantenimiento al hotel, el desayuno fatal, el personal requiere más entrenamiento para atención al cliente

Good value for money accommodation. Great staff.
The overpriced drinks that exclude tax! I can get cheaper drinks In London!!!!

It is modestly arranged hotel, but ideally suited my needs.
It has a bar on the upper floor (with a swing!) and a restaurant as a lobby. There's a "rest corner" with hammock too.
Maybe it was a coincidence but I've got a relatively large room with 2 double beds and a catafalque. I used this catafalque-bed as a wardrobe+countertop. The room had an air conditioning!!! (it was 31°C in the room w/o it). Private bathroom was rather tight but for one person still OK.
Private parking is near by with a closed gate (you get a key to the paddlelock) for those afraid of parking on the street. Often the street in front of the hotel was available for parking, so I had my car straight there.
Nice breakfast included in the room price is even nicer variety from the ever-dreadful-hell-overpriced La Fortuna and its attractions.
Over optimistic furnituring - 5 people in 10m² room? Really?
You need to replace bathroom door - it needs to be sliding one.

the staff and the location were great
hotel is moldy, the rooms were dirty, the curtains don’t cover the whole window so it is super bright in the morning and I couldn’t sleep because the street is very loud.

I was charged for over double what the price for a room was listed as on the website. When I messaged the Hotel and asked for the charges to be explained to me, they said they would look into it and then ignored my repeated attempts to get in contact with them. Don’t waste your money here!

We loved the location of this hotel. We were in walking distance from restaurants & shops! The staff were very accommodating and super friendly! The restaurant attached served good food. There was live entertainment in the middle of the week which was such a treat!
We had a room close to the lobby/restaurant and the commotion of people was a bit noisy at times.

Nothing.
Everything, disappointment

In the center of Fortuna and all the shops/restaurants.
The view of Arenal volcano is nice.
Live music was playing on the night we stayed here.
The choice at breakfast was good.
Staff were really friendly.
The shower was powerful.
Our room was next to the noisy bar but it closes at 8pm so no too bad.
The room was cramped with 2 double beds.
The balcony faced a building.
The kitchen was dark and dirty with a charge to use the gas cooker.

Miserable breakfast and unreliable staff. We bought interbus shuttle Tickets to Jaco at the hotel reception. We Were given the receipt and the transport was confirmed for 8:00 am departure the next morning. We waited at the hotel for the bus that never show up. We asked the hotel reception about our bus and we were informed that the bus was full and interbus never confirmed our seats. The hotel reception just lied to us about the bus ticket confirmation.

It was located in the centrum, which we loved because everything you need where there
we couldn’t use our balcony because it was located over the kitchen and it was smelling extremely greasy. Then we had our breakfast included and my sister asked for tomatoes in her omelette, first it was no problem and everything was good. and as they served it the omelette wasn’t really well cooked and the tomatoes were sour, so my sister tried to eat at least some parts of the egg which where good cooked but I told her not to and we asked for another one. then the boss said that we have to pay for another omelette because she already ate a bit of the first omelette. this made me really angry because it could have cost nothing to them but it would have made a huge difference. normally the guests needs should be their first interest.

The location was good. Breakfast had several options - pancakes, french toast, omlettes. Service was slow
so if you have a morning activity, go early.
Having a bar in the middle of the property surrounded by rooms is very noisy. Floors in the rooms were dirty and the mattresses need to be replaced. A/C worked on and off.

Booked a Family Room for 3 nights and ended up with a tiny room with a double bed. When we spoke to the front desk about it, they said that this is what we booked, but it was, in fact, not what we booked as the room should have been large with more space and another bed. The bed in the room was terrible and possibly even broken, which we also told the front desk, to which they responded that they could change our room. The other issue was the noise level. The bar/restaurant on the main floor echoed to the floor above where we were staying and added to the noise from the rooftop bar on the same floor as us. We ended up only staying the one night and found a much nicer, quieter place to stay.

Excellent location, city center and one block from bus stop. Awesome bar/restaurant upstairs and breakfast dining area downstairs. very friendly staff.
Room was somewhat musty, and too humid to dry. Toilet didn’t work well.

location. nice staff. value is ok , plenty of other places better for families or mellow couples
This is a property meant for 20 somethings. There is a bar on the second floor that goes late. It’s an open air courtyard with all rooms facing inward towards the bar. I would not recommend it for families or couples who are not in the party crowd.

Very friendly staff, they have a very well organized tour choice so you can rapidly organize your activities. The bar at the 3th floor is great, good music and food and very nice view.
I was at the ground floor ( very good for me because I had a surf accident) but the room has no windows. Saturday evening it was very loud outside, I sleep well but it can be very disturbing.

Staff was very friendly. Great location near town center. Secure and locked car parking. Nice bar with great volcano view.
The pictures are very misleading. Many rooms do not have windows. The hotel is quite run down, air condition did not work properly. At the breakfast buffet my son was asked to limit himself to 3 slices of water melon instead of five (ridiculous) and an additional pancake was denied (though the receptionist promised to address this).
We paid more than $300 for the family for one night - way too expensive. Our rooms were more a hostel than hotel.
