Great Stay! Very clean and spacious and the small touches of leaving a bottle of wine and cookies upon our arrival - so thoughtful!!! We were in town for planning and preparing for my daughter's baby shower - we needed a house to accommodate family and friends attending from PA to CA - all arriving at different times. This house was close to the venue as we needed a place to both prepare food and get together. The house was also close to my daughter as well! If we ever need a place to stay this will be the first one on our list to secure again and again!!! Absolutely Amazing!

We stayed with family ages 91 down to 8. There was lots of room and home like conveniences. I left my phome the owner was wonderful about tryimg to locate it for me. Location was great.

We had a great stay! We really were close to everything (tourist sights), less than 15 min to most of them, and we had parking on the premises! The place was clean and had everything we needed. The check in process was great, gave 4/4.5 because it took a while to get the address, once we had it everything went very smoothly. The host was lovely and really showed that they care about providing what their guests need. This trip and our stay provided wonderful memories for our family.

My family and I stayed at this home for a trip to the Smithsonian Institute Museums. It was perfect, just a short trip to the metro. We enjoyed our stay, the accommodations were very clean and the owner was quickly responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely recommend.

The owners provided detailed information (general info, local grocery/pharmacy/restaurants etc.) and responded timely to messages. The house was clean, homey and felt safe…perfect home away from home☺️. If we ever come back to DC, we’ll definitely stay there again.

The timing was perfect and everything was well explained. Check in process was a breeze. The back area was a little difficult to find but once found very easy. We are a family of 5 from NC with a couple from California. We had deparate area which gave us priivacy but also a common area so we could come together as a family. Clean and well kept, we truly appreciated it. Thank you for making the stay the least of our worries!

House was extremely clean. There refrigerator was stocked with refreshments. There was a nice hand written note along with a bottle of wine. Everything was very thought out. Alot of places are just an "investment" for the owners. But not here. You could tell they put extra thought and effort into making their guests feel comfortable and at home. Fresh linens, fresh towels.l, baby crib. Anything you could need has been thought of. Located just 10-15 mins from all the sights.

A beautiful home that has been tastefully renovated. The home was very clean and was well stocked with everything that we needed. The owner was easily reached and very helpful with any questions that we had. The only negative was the location. There were very few restaurants and grocery stores nearby and none within walking distance .

The owner was helpful with our last minute travel arrangements to DC to attend a graduation. The house has a well thought out floor plan with multiple bathrooms and a lovely kitchen. Well placed off-street parking. The stairs up to the top floor and down to the basement could be challenging for those with bad knees. Overall a very pleasant experience and would lease again.

Our family stayed for the last four days (4/17-4/21) in this home. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked incl. a gift basket with wine. However, we experienced the following issues: - There is a mouse problem. The host was responsive when this was reported and sent out an exterminator the next morning. He filled some holes behind the stove, however the following evening a mouse ran constantly across the kitchen floor, freaking us out. - Bedroom upstairs with one double bed. It is supported by slats which keep falling out of place, causing the mattress to cave in. This happened at night while we were in the bed and was quite shocking. We ended up sleeping on the living room couch. - Coffee maker pot had a huge hole and was unusable. Without the mouse issues, I would probably have given this a high rating as the house is well appointed and comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit out of the way but it was quite.

Lovely home

The property is beautiful; but the area around it is a bit sketchy. There were loud domestic disputes out in the street that awakened people in the front bedrooms both nights. There was also a little mouse friend in the kitchen. The home itself was beautifully appointed and really comfortable for all of us, and the owner obviously went to a lot of effort to be welcoming, leaving groceries and treats. The home served us well for our weekend trip.

Stayed here to watch New Zealand play the USA in a qualifier for Rugby World Cup. Good location only 15 minutes or so from FedEx Field. Room for 13 if everyone shares a bed plus one on the couch plus parking off-street was a huge plus.

Very nice place for 6 adults for a week. Nice to have private off street parking. Easy drive to Metro Rail for access to museums and monuments. Property owner very responsive with questions whether it was with the unit or things to do in the DC area.

Amazing host and clean house.

The place is amazing, the location is so close and great for vacation. My experience with Chima is pleasant, he always check on us and he is very professional. We had trouble with his garage door but he helped us resolved it and handled it well. He is a super host and I would highly recommend his place. Note: be careful shopping at the nearby Safeway, there’s a beggar forcing you to give money and keeps following you even if you move your car.

At first sight, I was disappointed in the neighborhood although, the inside of house was quite clean and comfortable. Total upgrade! Seemed like there will be some work done to the back yard that was filled with gravel and ladders. If so, this property would be a great choice in the summer time if you do not mind the neighbors seeing you- the homes are very close to each other. Our children loved the basement apartment which was also upgraded. It is fully equipped with a kitchenette, full bathroom, bedroom and a lounging space where you can open the pull out bed if necessary; they were happy to have a space of their own. Chima, the property owner was very nice and attentive, which made the stay much more pleasurable. If I was asked to suggest anything, it would be, to keep up the niceness of the home and remove the extra stuff from behind the back door entry and fix the nicks that were in the kitchen and living spaces. It was an eye sore to such a beautiful home.

Perfect house for families

This house and owner were fabulous! Everything you need is provided for you, and excellent parking for FREE! Safety is not an issue, and plenty of stores nearby like CVS for emergency runs. You can certainly UBER from here but if driving or renting a car, this a safe place for your vehicle. Hot water, plenty of comfy bedrooms and other sleeping areas. Have teens, the downstairs was a godsend! Thanks and will stay again if I ever come back.

The hosts were amazing. I would only suggest a lock box for the key so you would not have to time arrival and departure with the hosts. Definitely an overall five star rating!

We enjoyed our stay in DC this year thanks to Chima's recently remodeled property and OUTSTANDING communication. The interior of the property had a few minor blemishes - but hey so does most people's homes. The exterior had been upgraded and stood out from the other properties in the area. The only reason I gave it a 3 star for location/neighborhood was because the area that the home is in reminded us of areas in our city that are prone to crime. So we never completely felt completely safe there due to our history. However, there is adequate security on the property - extra outside lighting, security system, private parking - we just could not get past the location. However, this is not to say that this property would not meet someone else's standards. It is only 12-15 minutes to Capitol Hill from the property; 15-18 minutes to National Harbor (one of our favorite areas).

Hello fellow travelers. This condo has everything you need. The kitchen is stocked for anything you'd want to cook. New appliances abound. The living room has 2 large couches, every streaming app on a large screen TV. It was very comfortable after we were done touring this beautiful city. There is an alarm system that was easy for us to use. The 2 bedrooms upstairs have their own full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have new queen size beds. All rooms had been recently remodeled, they were Hotel quality. There was a deck off the front bedroom for morning coffee and to admire the distinctive brick homes of the area. Grocery store right down the road. We were able to park both cars on the property, the fence and garage door kept our out-of-state cars from prying eyes. We used the deck off the kitchen to enjoy our evenings outside in comfort. This is the place to stay for your D.C. excursion. Just off the main road, heading into the city took 10 minutes to get to. Our Host texted me to see if we needed anything. All of us want to return again to explore this wonderful City. When we do, it will be HERE!!
