Cabin was great!

Amazing location, had everything you could need in all rooms, a comfy home with great scenery, plenty of space for activities. Pretty private from the neighbors. Very cozy and homey.

Despite being a rental this cabin really feels like a family vacation home. It’s charming and cozy and tucked into the woods on a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin has a rustic feel but also has a hot tub and great WiFi. There are little walking trails right out the front door and it’s easy to get to the Zig Zag River on foot. There are multiple restaurants and a grocery store nearby.
We have rented other properties on Mt.Hood many times and this is our favorite so far! We plan to return as often as we can.

We had a wonderful stay at the alder wood. It met all of our needs. The oven knob is backwards, so when cooking turn it to the opposite direction and the oven will actually heat up. Thanks for the great stay.

Woodsy & beautiful home with trails within walking distance! Tight for a group of 6. Home did not provide sheets for the pullout couch or a sponge for doing dishes, and cooking amenities were minimum. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay! Recommend walking through the forest to Skyway

This is a small cabin on Mt Hood. It was clean and well stocked. It is very simple. The bed was comfortable. We had a difficult time figuring out how to get the heat on and there wasn't any instructions. There is a wood stove but there was not any kindling, only large pieces of wood. There was lighter fluid next to the wood but we decided that seemed unsafe. The hot tub was old and smelled a little funky but it was hot and we enjoyed it. The cabin itself looks out onto a pretty forest. The houses around the cabin are very poorly cared for and had lots of trash around. It was nice we could bring our dogs.

Interestingly, my well thought out, extensive review with Vacasa, the property manager of this property, hasn't been posted. Perhaps, they don't post negative reviews.

This place is amazing. We really enjoyed the wood work. The surrounding area was so peaceful. Big trees and moss and ferns everywhere. There's a trail that leads to the river. Pretty rad spot. Glad I got to experience it's beauty.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin. It was surprisingly spacious, conveniently close to the mountain for snow boarding, and we could gaze up at the moon from the hot tub. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

We loved the location, and the bedrooms, kitchen, and other rooms were comfortable and definitely met our needs.

This place has all the best parts of a classic cabin. Great hot tub surrounded by beautiful forest. So fearful family memories created here.

Me and my husband are cabin jumpers and we found the beauty of this place is at the top of our list. The location was perfect. You do have neighbors but the way the house is situated no one can see you. The house itself is gorgeous. The wood throughout the house is so cozy and the wood burning stove worked like a charm. It rained the whole 3 nights we were there but we didn’t mind at all. The bed was comfortable. Large selection of movies. We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub but it’s a great amenity to have for people into hot tubs. There are hiking trails everywhere. A river is not to far through the forest behind the house. Just a great little spot to enjoy yourself and escape from the world! We will be back for sure!

This place has everything you need. The hot tub was really hot (close lid and turn bubbles on a few minutes before you get it to heat it up) and so nice to spend time in once our kid went to sleep. The trails off the property were perfect. We took a day trip up to the Timberline Lodge but were happy to be staying here and not at the lodge when we got back as it's just so cozy and secluded. The BBQ place up the road was awesome too!

Cute little cabin in the woods! Nice and private and secluded. Hot tub was wonderful! The place was clean lots of books and games we liked the cards specifically. The only real downside was the beds are very hard and not very comfortable! But all in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back!

My husband and I stayed here as part of our hiking honeymoon trip and had a good time. The listing was accurate and had what we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was great after long hiking days. The cabin is in a perfect location for day hikes to Mount Hood, Columbia River, Portland, and high desert. Foot paths around the rental lead through the woods to the river. We look forward to coming back!

Spent our anniversary weekend here and brought our dog with us. Quiet but with plenty to do. There is a small trail behind the place that our dog loved to explore. The cabin was so cozy. Great for naps after hikes and the sitting room is perfect for late night conversation and music on the record player. We Will be back.

Lovely cabin in a quiet little neighborhood off 26. Easy drive up to skiiing, etc. and close to the area's markets and restaurants.Comfortable, tidy, well appointed cabin. Would gladly stay again. Few suggestions: new mattress in the back bedroom (SUPER squeaky), couple plastic boot trays at the front door, and directions for the hot tub & wood burning stove.

This cabin is a dream come true. Stayed here with a few friends for a mountain spring break. It had everything we wanted and needed. Rustic and cozy, working heaters which proved incredibly useful for the snowy weather.
There were plenty of extra blankets and the hot tub was great and clean! (Only thing was that the hot tub was unlocked and had some Tupperware and other items around it when we arrived. So, maybe some neighbors have been using it on the sly OR it wasn't fully closed up from the last guests. This however, was not a big issue.)
The kitchen was stocked well with utensils and pots/pans and the hot water was fast and reliable which made cooking here a breeze.
10/10 recommend and we will probably be back next year. 🗻

This cabin was great - the attention and care that the owners have put in really shows. The little wood fire stove heated the place right up and the hottub was clean and inviting.
Cozy, comfortable and quite enjoyable with easy access to the mountain. Exactly what we were looking for

The location of the home was great. Great food options around as well! There is a structure/house attached to the house. When we arrived there was a wadded up blanket on the couch near the front door. The hot tub had debris in the bottom, and mud on the rim of the hot tub. Other than that, the house was clean. There was ice provided in the freezer which was nice!

We stayed here in August as a last summer hurrah. We were sad to see the basketball court entirely covered in firewood, the court was a deciding factor in our booking the property and this was a huge letdown.
The kitchen was decently stocked with plate ware, utensils, cookware, etc and was a nice size. The movie selection was diverse and fun to choose from. The TV is a smart tv so Vudu was also an option. The cabin is dark, but there were lots of lights everywhere to brighten the place up!
We felt this would be a good spot to crash during winter after a long day on the slopes. But we visited with the intent to rest indoors and enjoy the cabin together. At present, we didn’t find this to be a comfy spot to laze around full-time. The couch was well-loved and the the beds were a little small and rickety. We had trouble sleeping in either one (we tried both).

The cabin was clean and great for relaxing! Only a few minor things that other people have also mentioned. The master bedroom bed is not comfortable at all. Lighting outside is hard to see to get to the hot tub and deck. It has solar lights but most of them don't work. Other than that the place was really great! They had a lot of DVDs and records to play. Also had a path out the backyard that led to the river and a restaurant. We would stay here again.

We loved the quaint interior. It was the perfect place to relax and listen to the rain after a day of skiing

Only stayed 2 nights and thought cabin was rustic, clean and quiet, it is not easy to find and was disappointed in Welches and Rhododendron area! Wish the cabin had cable. Not much to do but took grandkids to Ski Bowl Adventure Park. We had a blast!

The lot/area that this house is on is incredible!!! There are trails out the back of the house by the hot tub. Whoever owns it must be a carpenter - they really love wood. I don't think there is a single piece of drywall in the house, which was cool. We loved it. One caveat though:
There was broken glass on the floor in the living room and my 4-year old daughter cut her foot. Dealing with Vacasa in the aftermath of that has been a nightmare and I can't get a response from the local operator after calling the 800 number and they say they're handing it off to the local folks. So, be warned about that if you have an issue during your stay!

My family and our dogs had a great time at this cabin. The vinyl records were a great touch but we couldn't figure out how to work the volume on the stereo. Maybe a user guide would be nice. The hot tub was amazing! And we love the placement of the picnic table next to the hot tub. I would like to suggest some outdoor lighting, very dark walk to to the hot tub.

We loved the home and had a great time. It is very relaxing and cozy. Make sure to bring slides or flip flops to walk out to the hot tub since it’s around the side of the house. If you are planning on doing much cooking make sure to bring your own tin foil and seasonings. Also don’t forget ziplock backs or plastic storage containers for left overs.

This place is well cared for and very clean. Our struggle were the following: 1) No outdoor cooking options (BBQ) 2) Located in a neighborhood like environment 3) Master bed is very uncomfortable 4) Hot tub was way over chlorinated, we had to add water and wait a day to use 5) Someone actually took a wheel cover from our truck while there. It was there when we unloaded and gone the next morning. 6) they have several old records which we were pretty excited about, but the stereo doesn't work properly. Its stuck on loud, and can't be adjusted. We attempted to let it play, but after a song it will shut down and you have to start over again. 7) The check out time of 10am isn't great... You are forced to get up early on the last day of vacation to get everything cleaned up, put back together, loaded and out by 10 am. Had I known about no outdoor cooking and the 10 am check out I would have not book. That's on me, for not checking. All in all we would not book this location again.

We had a great time at this relaxing cabin in the woods. It was very clean and well stocked. My only complaint would be that there wasn't any burnable firewood for the wood stove. It was all green wood in the shed so we bought our own at the Thriftway. Other than that it was a great get-away.
