About this house rental

Nestled in a wooded area located between Dahlonega and Helen, the family-sized home sits on a 1.2 acre wooded lot with two decks overlooking the woods containing a trout stream running year-round. The 4-bed / 4.5-bath, mountain vacation home with 2 bonus rooms with beds, comfortably sleeps 10 across three floors. Five pillow-topped queen beds, single over full bunk bed and an additional single bed provides your group comfortable sleep.

A large, fully equipped kitchen and island as well as the grill under the outdoor gazebo lets you create your favorite dishes for the largest family. You can also relax on a large deck overlooking the woods while listening to the babbling trout stream below or in the 6-person hot tub below. The kids can hang out downstairs playing pool, or foosball. Each bedroom and living room has a 4K smart TV and high speed fiber internet Wi-fi access, so everyone can watch something different. If you are adventurous, try exploring the north Georgia Mountains or panning for gold in the Trout Stream.

The home is a short drive from all the shopping, fun, and events in Alpine Helen. Within a short drive are rivers, waterfalls, Brasstown Bald (highest peak in Georgia), recreation areas, and Dahlonega, the historical gold mining town. Additional area activities include:

I wanted a place for my friends to help me celebrate my 70th birthday. I needed a house for a group of six. I found this listing immediately and knew it was the perfect choice. The house location was perfect for everyone and large enough for each of us to have a bedroom to ourselves. Unfortunately one bedroom was more suited for kids but it worked out okay. This is the perfect place for a group celebration or just hanging out with family or friends. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. Many of the ladies were very surprised. They said they had stayed at places where they had to buy paper products the day they checked in. We had our coffee on the deck in the mornings where you could hear Town Creek rushing by the property. You can take a short walk down to enjoy the tranquility of sitting by the creek. It was so relaxing! The house is halfway between Dahlonega and Helen as well as being surrounded by vineyards, hiking trails and other area attractions. There were also games inside and outside the house to enjoy. Thank you to the owner/property manager for the prompt replies to my questions.

Stayed Friday-Monday for my nieces wedding. Cabin was gorgeous, especially the kitchen. The space was perfect for my family. The only things we wish were different, which were not a big big deal. We wished there was a bathroom in the basement. Not only for us as we’re hanging out down there but there is a bedroom down there, so whoever stays has to come up to the main floor to shower, etc…. Also, the beds could’ve been a little more comfortable, they were a little too firm for our taste. But after the first night we were so exhausted to even notice! Other than that, it’s gorgeous and it has everything you’d need!!!!!

We enjoyed our girls weekend get away trip! The hot tub and game room downstairs was very relaxing and entertaining! Plenty of space in the kitchen for cooking and group dinners. Happy to have enough bedrooms to fit all of us 😊

The property was so pretty, easy to get to and well maintained. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and with papergoods. It was noticebly clean with smell and sight. I have been in other accomodations that were not. Anything you could think of in the kitchen, it was there. Well stocked spices, cleaning suplies, coffee stuff, etc. The only small things to make note of were the shower heads were a little lacking (old style) and while they did provide bath towels, if you want more, bring your own. They did have 4 towels for the hottub use. Touching on the creek, it was so pretty and fun to play in. You can wade or even sit in part of it to cool off. We did hop for rock to rock and had a blast. I am glad my family decided for us to rent the house. All the things there were perfect!

We stayed celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. Total of ten of us in all. This property is amazing. The overall cleanliness of this place is great. The dining table seated all of us for our dinners with the extensions added on. It is clean, spacious, well equipped with amenities (esp. the kitchen which had everything), and suited our needs. Everything was even better than described; even the pictures don't do justice to how wonderful this place is. The game room was a hit with our grandchildren after a long day of exploring the area or when the occasional rain shower popped up. The drive to Cleveland is close for shopping and gas at the Ingles market. Communication with the property owner was very positive, as well. Very easy access to property, I would definitely go back again.

Great spot for a long weekend with sisters and their children. Plenty of room for our group of nine. The house was very clean and everything we needed was provided. The screened in porch was perfect in the morning for coffee to the sound of the creek running. Loved that there were three types of coffee makers! The creek was a real bonus , our children are age 5 - 26 and played for hours in the creek . We had five children and four children and everyone had their own bedroom with siblings sharing the downstairs bonus room. Perfectly located between Helen and Dahlonega for shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities like tubing the river. Would definitely like to go back sometime.

We were very pleased to have a place large enough for our family gathering. We were especially surprised at how well everything you need is provided and well stocked. We all like to cook and hang out in the kitchen and dinning room. Everything we needed was available. The host obviously care about their guest. Everyone enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, especially the creek. It's beautiful and relaxing. The location was perfect as we were able to drive into Cleveland or Helen within 10 minutes. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a medium to large size family. You will not be disappointed.

The property was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our stay so very much. It was my family of 5 and then 2 other couples. The only thing I would mention is that the drive is on a slope. So the firepit is a walk up the slope from the home. Other than that we had an amazing stay. It was quiet peaceful and we loved going down to the stream!

This place was a beautiful getaway for me and my family. Walking to the creek in the back became an everyday thing. Great location to Helen, GA. Had a few hiccups about the water pressure, but the owners were very responsive and had someone come to check it out first thing in the morning. I would recommend this place to anyone. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

This property is just how you would hope it to be. When you first arrive, the privacy of the mountain home lot gives you the seclusion you're looking for. The home is up to date and stunning, it has the wow factor. The amenties include a plethora of games and a hot tub all give you reasons to have fun on a rainy day. Communication with host was fantastic - thorough and easy. The house looks terrific in the photos and is even better in person. Was a perfect place for our group = we would definitely stay here again. The house is so close to everything - the grocery, the vineyards and the city of Cleveland if you need it. If I could rate the house more than 5 stars I would. The house was perfect. It was beyond clean. There were lots of amenities. The view was amazing and the sound of the creek was so peaceful. The hosts were very responsive. The house was in close proximity to the wineries. I would recommend and will definitely be back for another trip!

We had a fabulous time at this property! The layout worked perfectly for 6 adults, with spaces for us to hang out together and enough space to separate when needed. The house was clean, well appointed, in a great location (close to Cleveland and Helen) and extremely relaxing. We will definitely book again!

Location! Location! Location! Couldn’t be any closer to downtown. It’s a perfect spot. Other than the steep! Driveway and gravel/dirt this was the perfect place! You will not be disappointed! The owners are fantastic also. CLEAN! We absolutely loved it.

We had the joy of spending Thanksgiving week in this beautiful home! The home was spotless, the kitchen was fully stocked and you can tell it was recently renovated. Everything is in excellent condition! The home is not only beautifully decorated, it also has a great layout, it’s cozy and it was so comfortable for our family. We enjoyed many family activities here…like walking over to the lovely creek in the back, sitting on the large deck to enjoy nature, watching movies on their comfy couches, sitting by the fireplace and playing pool and foosball. We were pleased with the location. It’s in a peaceful and quiet setting but also just a short drive away from Helen, vineyards, a grocery store, restaurants, shops and several wonderful places to hike! The owners have put a lot of love into this home and it shows! They were awesome to communicate with as well. We highly recommend this amazing home!

There were 10 of us that stayed for a 3-night family vacation. The home is beautiful, plenty of room, and has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. The owners were accommodating and responded quickly when contacted. Highly recommend. Only about 20 minutes from Helen and a little over an hour to Blue Ridge.

This house is amazing! Very easy to get to, but once you are there, you don't want to leave! The house is so fully equipped and furnished like none I have ever stayed at before. Can't wait to go back and visit again. Also, worth the walk down the trail to the creek..sounds amazing and you can hear it from the house. Highly reccommend!!

We had an amazing stay, the Rupp family took care of everything and the home was very well stocked. I think we were most excited about the gold pans - allowing the kids to search for gold down by the creek. The hot tub was ready for us to go, plenty of firewood for the kids to roast marshmallows, and plenty of space for everyone. We had 2 families (one generational) and never once did we feel like we were on top of each other. The fall foliage was an added bonus. We would definitely love to come back for another visit.
