As usual this was a fantastic trip, plenty of things for the family to do, easy check in and check out.
This is our third time staying. New appliances were great!!!

Brian was very easy to deal with. Cabin was cute and we had a good time with n Blairsville. Got stuck two times going up driveway. Should recommend 4x4 vehicle. Big issue was neighbors dogs never stopped barking. Which we ended up leaving three days early so we could get some sleep.

We had a wonderful vacation at this location, it was clean and the owner was prompt in responding. Just be aware that the basement has two double bunkbeds only, the number of beds on the description can be misunderstood.

Once we were able to get in the house, things were good.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location, close to everything in Blairsville. Loved the wrap-around porch, fire pit and layout of cabin. We did not use the hot tub so I don't have any opinion on it.

The overall impression was very good but I was expecting 3 full baths and there was only a half bath in the lower floor. It is really a 2 1/2 bath.

Hickman’s Haven— a True Haven
My friend and I take our grandchildren to horse camp every summer —TrackRock Stables. This cabin was the perfect place for us— great location, spacious cabin, wrap around porch, fire pit, hot tub, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, etc. We all agreed— we want this cabin again next year during horse camp.

Blairsville stay
First of all, let's illustrate the positive things about this property:
Very convenient location, nice cabin with spacious bedrooms and laundry and kitchen. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees with many beautiful birds that come to the abundant bird feeders on the property. The neighborhood is very quiet. Very close to many good restaurants and grocery stores.
These were the negative things that we experienced:
No garbage disposal in the sink
When we used the hot tub, even though we completely understand the need for chemicals to decrease bacteria, when using the blower function on the hot tub, the odor of chlorine/bromine was so strong that it irritated our nose/lungs that we had to get out of the hot tub and did not use it for the remainder of our stay.
The instructions for the use of the main TV were very ambiguous that it took several hours to realize that we had to turn on a satellite box mounted on the wall. The instructions stated we had to go through a smart hub on the TV which was not exactly correct.
My wife noticed that the upstairs shower/sink/countertop was not sufficiently cleaned and that the towels were not clean so we thankfully had our own and used them during our stay.
There was no way to easily contact anybody if there were any significant issues during our stay.

Girls weekend
We had a very relaxing weekend, the cabin is absolutely beautiful perfect for a quiet get away. We enjoyed the hot tub, watching the birds, grilling dinner, we visited Vogel state park and enjoyed the beautiful shops in town. We will certainly visit again. Booking the cabin was a little difficult but in fairness I have never used the website.

Dudes Only Weekend Away
My son-in-laws and I go on an annual getaway with the grandsons. We picked this area to have our annual get together. We enjoyed hiking, fishing and playing disc golf in the area. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed plus more. Restaurants in the area were excellent!! Hope to visit again.

Nice rustic feel.
Good place to spend with family. Gravel road in is a little rough in spots. Tight turns. Quiet neighborhood.

Great cabin
We had a great stay at this cabin. Very homey, spacious & comfortable. It was two adults & two kids. Internet & dish tv worked great. We felt safe there. The weather wasn’t the greatest so we really took advantage of the cabin. I cooked a few times and everything was there. The kids loved the hot tub. I was also able to lock the deadbolts at night so they didn’t venture outside or swimming while we were sleeping (kids are early risers). There are homes nearby so if you’re looking for a remote location this isn’t it. We met one neighbor and their very sweet black lab. Longhorn down the street & Jim’s BBQ was the best I’ve ever had. Ventured to many falls and Murphy NC for kids to mine gems put put & paintball at a family owned location called Salty Dog Gem Mining. So much fun there. Highly recommend! Thank you for opening your home to us Floridians!

Great weekend cabin for friends!
This was a great cabin for 5 of us to get away for a weekend! Location was super easy to get to and 20ish minutes from Vogel State Park which is awesome for hiking!

Bang for your buck!
I was very impressed by the amount of house and amenities that we got for the price! It was just four of us but the house has room to sleep a lot more spread out over three levels. The hot tub was larger than I expected and it felt very secluded from town but was really just five minutes away! We went for Christmas vacation but I’m hoping to go back in the summer because there are so many lakes near this property! Highly recommend!

Very Nice Cabin, but in a neighborhood
This was a really nice Cabin, and it is very close to downtown Blairsville. We have stayed in the mountains for the past 10 years for Thanksgiving and wanted to head over East (we normally stay in Blue Ridge). The area is gorgeous and there are so many trails to hike that have great views. The only thing if this is your first visit up to the mountains I would recommend a cabin that is not in a neighborhood, we had fairly loud neighbors and it really keeps you from enjoying the peace of being up there away from everything. But this cabin is very nice and for the price hard a great deal.

My group staying in the cabin had a wonderful time. The location is amazing and everything was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The hot tub was very much enjoyed. Good times were had making s'mores in the fire pit. Great dining room table for playing board games and sitting around during meals. Comfortable couches made for great relaxation. 10/10 would go again.

Blairsville Cabin
Beautiful cabin. Great location. Everything needed in the kitchen. Could use additional hangers in closet. Couldn’t get the gas fireplace to work, but not a deal breaker. Thank You for the opportunity to stay in your home.

Two week stay
I rented this cabin for 2 weeks and had friends and family join me at different times. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The most we had there at one time was 6 and we had plenty of space for all. Great location!

Anniversary get-away
It was my wife and I wedding anniversary. We just wanted to have a get away from the house and relax. The hot tub and mountains did just that. My kids(14 and 5) had a good time as well. I used Waze and took my right to the place no problem. It was nice.

Relaxing get away, that makes you want to come back
Very smooth transition had no problems. Everything was right where the owner said everything would be. After being at the house a while it starts to grow on you and relaxing on the wrap around porch in the swing watching the birds and squirrels happens everyday. Taking time to enjoy the Jacuzzi every evening would be highly recommended. Sit back and enjoy this place!! Being three miles away from the Long Horn steakhouse was a plus for me, was able to get there about three times that week. Get out and explore the area, one day in Murphy N C enjoyable too.

Good
Had a great time but the dvd wasn’t hooked up in the living room and the nuts on your tree in the front made dents on our car and broke the wind visor As well; not good!!! We enjoyed ourselves but this was a one time visit, thanks

Enjoyable stay
We stayed with our parents. My father-n-law can't climb many stairs. It was easy for him to enter the cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. My husband says the porch needs some rocking chairs. (haha)
