About this house rental
A stunning, bright 6BR beach house, very large, 2700 sq. ft. Best location, overlooking the Gulf direct access to 13th St. beach. Beautiful ocean views from most rooms, large 30' balconies. Great appointments,large kitchen, granite, stainless, tile throughout. Master king and queen bedrooms have balconies overlooking the gulf. King beds are memory foam. House has a large, 21'x40' shared pool behind. We also have a splash pad/water park next to the pool..kids love it. Home has a large, enclosed out door shower, a barbecue grill and picnic table. There are 6 televisions, one big screen in the living area, the others in 5 of the bedrooms. We have roku and Hulu Live. Ample parking, you have at least 4 spots and since we are a corner location there is a lot of off street parking Location is perfect, we are just 2 miles from the center of town but away from the hi rises. Just a few steps to the beach. Our beach is enormous, a wide swath of white, crystal sand. Close activities include swimming, boating, surfing, jet ski parasailing, etc. Please note I have a 7 night minimum in summer starting Memorial Day till the 2 week of August--and typically I have a 5 night minimum in spring and fall, 3 nights in winter.

We stayed here last week. It is a really nice place. Close to the beach and has a shared pool. We had 13 people staying here and had plenty of room. There were just enough amenities to get you through until you get to a store. In the storage room there were beach chairs and water toys available, which was really nice. The owner is great to work with. He responded to any issues immediately. Everyone we met at the place was very friendly. We all had a great time and would love to go back again!

Nice house, location and stay! The pool was great to have a swim with the ‘littles’ who were scared of the ocean. Really enjoyed Gulfshores.

Location was great! Literally right across the street from the beach. Able to access the beach easily and walk back up to the house when we needed to. Parking under the house was easy & having a pool right behind the house was wonderful.
We did find bed bugs and notified the owner immediately. The owner sent an exterminator out within about 2 hours who confirmed the presence of bed bugs and sprayed the rooms but said the house would need to be fumigated and that would require us to vacate for 4 hours but no one ever came to fumigate and no one ever reached back out to us about when they would be coming to fumigate.
Also the house in this picture is not the #3 condo which is what we were told we rented. The house in the photo is the house beside the house that was rented to us. I know for a fact because the railings on the balconies in this photo have metal white railings and the house we stayed in had unsafe cords for railings which were mostly loose and needed to be tightened. So the balconies were an unsafe area for children to be in my opinion. The splash pad photo is very outdated. The splash pad does not have all those pieces but was sufficient for our children. Also almost all the pool chairs were broken in some form. There was a cable box under the house with loose cables coming out everywhere. The first night the oven handle came off the oven and we had to tighten it to get it to stay on. The refrigerator was missing more shelves that were actually in the fridge.

My family composed of 11 enjoyed the location very much. The view of the ocean and short walk to the beach was awesome. The pool was an added bonus since the beach was closed for three days of our trip.
A few negatives: the property needed some upkeep. The door to the first floor balcony was loosing its rubber edging, the outside shower had a broken lock and shower head, many of the pool chairs were broken or in poor condition and a couple of the bed mattresses were uncomfortable. My granddaughter found a live cockroach crawling on her.
The floor plan was great and provided plenty of room.
Also, the owner had just turned over the house to a rental company. I received conflicting information from both: different lock codes, different times to arrive and different info about what to do with bedsheets and dishes when we left. There was also a notebook with information about those same things and a sheet of paper on the wall in the kitchen with information. All conflicting and inconsistent. Hopefully this will all be taken care of.
To conclude, it’s a lovely house for a large group with a pool and great access to the beach. I would still recommend it despite the negatives.

We looked around A LOT for something affordable and close to the beach. Access to the beach was amazing and although not the beach, it was a great cost effective choice to be across from an access point. End of march, the pool was way too cold so we shouldn't have factored that into the decision. Out of 9 very brave kids, only 2 got in and for less than 5 min. In the summer I'm sure it'd be great. Also very close to a walking path that goes by docks to make the intercoastal accessible for fishing.

We had a great time during our new year”s trip. We had 17 staying at the house and we had no issues. The location is great and the walk across the street to the beautiful beach was easy. You can see the ocean from the balcony and we enjoyed time there when it was warm enough. The kitchen was well equipped. We ate most meals at the house and didn’t need the extra cooking items we brought. The posting was accurate and the house was beautiful. Check-in was simple. Would love to go back to enjoy the house in the summer!

We love the Gulf Shores area and have vacationed there many years . This house was in a perfect location with easy beach access for all Members of our family . We had three generations with us on this trip and the layout and bedrooms were great for all of us . Beautiful views from the balcony. Owner was great for communication and answering all our questions . There are a few things in the home that need attention that we communicated to the owner .

Everything was great, it was a very nice vacation with friends, the house is perfect, excellent location, the only problem is the beds. I think that when you go on vacation you sleep in good beds and the beds are very damaged. Thank you bob carden

Everything we needed for five couples. Clean with all the amenities! Perfect location to access the beach with a two minute walk. Would definitely book again!

We had the best experience renting this house from Bob. The house is comfortable for a big family. The kitchen is perfect. We loved sitting out on the balconies every morning watching the sun come up. We can’t wait to do this again.

I had great communication with property management. Location is great. The house is large however some things I would have fixed/changed, the cover on some of the beds were ripped and stained, the top step is unsafe/wobbly. We weren't supplied with essential items such as trash bags, toilet paper dish soap etc. When we asked for a broom and they had to bring that over they also brought some toilet paper also. Also ice machine didn't work (no big deal for us).

The description of the property was spot on, everyone loved the pool and close proximity to the beach. The best thing was there was enough room for everyone to have their own space. The beds where all very comfortable and clean. Definitely would love to come back here again in the future.

This house is the perfect location for it not being beachfront. The house has a great view and access to the beach is directly across the street! We were able to walk back and forth with our kids and stuff easily. The property manager was really responsive and provided everything we needed! We had a great week!

We had a great time staying in this unit. The bedrooms are large, and the kitchen was big. We cooked in and also used the grill. This is a great option for those big family beach trips.

We had 16 of us with with 10 adults and 6 kids, plenty of bed choices and large enough to have space. Patio was beautiful . Pool is actually shared with 5 units but not an issue. Beach access right across the street . Would definitely go again.

Bob was a great host. The check in and out process was very easy. Bob was very responsive when we called him about a few minor things. The house was great and the location is in a quiet neighborhood right across the street from beach access. All the adults and kids (12 total) had such a great week filled with memories that wil lst forever. Thank you Bob for a great week.

Great value for location and size. We had 11 adults, 3 teens and 2 toddlers for a 3 night stay and we had plenty of room! Pool and splash pad were great. Beach is right across the street with easy access.

This was my daughters senior year spring break trip with friends and family. We all had a great time. The house was big enough for 3 families and was just a short walk across the street to the beach. And not far from the hangout. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect beachside house for our large group (11 adults). Ample space and bedrooms for everyone. Situated by a beautiful beach — white sands, not too crowded, quiet. We loved our stay! Host very easy to contact and responded promptly. Would absolutely stay again!

On the downside. The cleanliness was disappointing.. roach in kitchen drawers, bathtub, and stairway. Pet hair all over washer and dryer. Had to wash all kitchen supplies before using. Previous renters forgotten clothes n soap in outdoor shower. All the lights burned out in grill area. We Had to replace those before we could use that area. That all being said. With the good location n beach access. We may be back!!!

The house was perfect for our fam jam weekend.
The location was across the street from public beach access which made it super easy for this grandma to take her 5 year old to play on the beach. House keeper sis an awesome cleaning job and owner was great about responding quickly to any and all questions. We loved our stay.

This truly was heaven on earth! Right across from the street from the beach, could watch the waves from our balconies! There were 18 of us and had plenty of room, underneath the house just added to the play area! Bob was our host and you couldn't ask for a nicer person and he communicated everything thoroughly. House is located very near everything but not so close you feel bottled in. We will be back next year!

I loved this house!!!!! It has everything you need. It is very spacious. The decks are amazing you can see the ocean from both top and bottom. You have a pool that is shared with other houses but was still plenty big enough. Has a splash pad for kid but is on the outside of the fenced in pool which was weird to me but the kids still loved it. You have an outside shower and lots of floats for the pool and things for the beach. If you have a large group this is the house for you. We had 17 the ages from 58 to 4 months and all in-between. The room and bathrooms are big. Aceess to the beach and crosswalk is right in front of you. Also extra parking is right next to the house.. Overall I only have 2 things that I feel it needed and that was better seating on the top deck and that the splash pad was fenced in with the pool. But overall the house was amazing and will definitely rent again at a later date!!!

Very enjoyable family vacation in Gulf Shores! We had 5 adult couples and a total of 5 children ages 1-8. The 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms provided plenty of room. Perfect location right across the street from the public access to the beach! The balcony views were fantastic as we could see/hear the ocean waves rolling in. The pool is right behind the house with a fun splash pad for the kids. The house also has an outside shower to rinse off the sand before going in. They even provided beach chairs and carts in a closet downstairs! Very nice property. We would stay here again.

This home worked great for our large family. We had plenty of space to gather but also plenty of space to spread out. The home was not directly on the beach(we knew this previously so weren’t expecting it to be) but it was a very short, quick, and convenient walk to get on the beach. I felt like the home could have been a bit cleaner when we arrived but it was satisfactory. There were a few things missed by the cleaner such as confetti and trash from the previous tenants but nothing that warrants any sort of negative complaint, just the reason all stars weren’t given for this area. We would stay here again if we come back in the future.

The property is great. Everything you need is there. Very convenient to the beach entrance. Bob the owner is one text message away. The only problem we had with the property and it was only because we had small children is none of the electrical outlets had switch plates covering them just wires with plug outlets. Small children want to stick their hands too close.

Our family group of 20 spent a week in this house. The proximity to the beach access was great and many hours were spent at the shared pool. There was plenty of space for everyone and we enjoyed fixing meals in the well equipped kitchen. It’s a vacation we will talk about for years to come.

We had a great time at the house and in Gul Shores! The house had tons of chairs for the beach, wagons and umbrellas to borrow. It was right across the street from the beach, and very easy to get to and from. We absolutely loved the house, and there was plenty of room for 18. Thank you!
