We love Beachtown. Our home was comfortable in all aspects. Great views and easy access to the beach. Having beach chair service is a plus! The neighborhood restaurant was amazing - food and service. Whitney at the Beachtown office was very helpful.

Great location, beautiful property. Lots of stairs. Definitely will keep you in shape on your vacation. Overall we love the property. The welcome gift was a sweet bonus. Only con is the master bed was not very comfortable.

We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the porches. Great views of both beach and bay from the 3 porches. Really enjoyed the sunrise views in the morning. Great stay and attentive rental office nearby. Will be renting here again in the spring!

House was nice and as advertised. AC worked great during heat wave. Was a decent walk to the public beach entrance with littles so we rented a golf cart. Had some oven issues during stay that were unresolved but was able to find an alternate solution. Overall a nice trip.

We had a wonderful trip to Galveston! The beautiful home and beach location were perfect for our three generations of family.

I would definitely stay in the property or area again. Quiet, relaxing, and great balconies for sunrises, sunsets and ship watching!

Relaxing Family Vacay
The house is exactly as pictured. The location can’t be beat: close to everything, but far enough away that you can relax and unplug. My family and I loved the unit’s proximity to the beach and the pool. The kitchen is exceptionally stocked (knife sharpener!) and had everything we needed. The bed in the main bedroom was hard but comfy (weird I know).

We loved our weekend in Beachtown. The townhouse was a great place to relax and watch the sunrise. Nice clean beaches and cute neighborhood. Porch Cafe was a wonderful dinner.
It is a long walk to the beach entrance and then a very long boardwalk. We ended up using the closer public beach entrance behind the house instead. A few issues with ants and door locks, but we were able to work around that.
The check-in process needs to be improved. We arrived during the appropriate hours and the door was locked. Luckily a construction manager saw us and helped phone some staff. There was a designer working upstairs. She needs a lesson on customer service. She unlocked the door and then turned to go back upstairs without acknowledging us or any greeting. We were shocked and entered ourselves saying "Hello, do we come upstairs." Not the best way to welcome visitors.

Pros:
Beachtown is a quiet community on east beach with large luxury homes. Great area to get away from crowds but also near downtown b/c east beach
Very clean home with great cookware and everything you might need
Property management responsive to any issues.
Good views from kitchen deck
Cons:
This home is hard for people who have issues with stairs (4 levels and bedrooms are technically on 3rd floor). There is an elevator but very slow. The bedroom on the "Kitchen level" is the little twin/trundle.
A bit of a trek (2 blocks) to the beach with kids beach stuff... but you can drive up close to the walkway
You have to pay extra for the very small pool
Lots of paperwork for the rental
Only one set of keys given
We had a plumbing issue (hot water out in one bathroom) - had to have someone come look at it then plumber scheduled for 48 hours later. We decided to just use other bathrooms to avoid having more workers in our rental
Bring your beach towels - a bit annoying that beach towels are not provided for a high end rental like this
This is not a pro/con but mentioning for other renters - master/king bed is ROCK hard... and I like a really firm bed. The 2nd master with two full beds are extremely soft.

We enjoyed a short stay here as a family of 4. The property was just as I visualized it from the pictures - though the lovely outdoor eating area off the kitchen was not pictured, nor were the two additional porches on each level, so those were pleasant surprises. We were less pleasantly surprised that the restaurant in the "town" was not open during the week, nor was the ice cream shop. We rented beach chairs to be set up for us and really enjoyed that luxury. A few minor mishaps were handled with professionalism. We would definitely return.

This property was perfect for a weekend with family. Kitchen had all we needed to make meals and a large table for mealtime gathering. Everyone had a comfortable bedroom and bathroom. I loved balconies in every room! And it has a garage to make easy ins and outs. A few minutes walk to the beach and a short ride to Galveston downtown. I definitely recommend this property!

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) had plenty of room for our Spring Break getaway. Short walk to the beach. Great views from each balcony. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place in Galveston. Hope to return soon!

My husband and I brought our young adult daughters for a three night stay at this beautiful home in Beachtown. We enjoyed the views from the porches and the home was very comfortable. It was only a short walk to the beach walkover. The Beachtown section of Galveston beaches cannot be beat! The dunes are lush with native plants and the sandy beach was not super crowded.

Fantastic stay!
Loved the property! Beautiful house with lovely furniture. The only thing you need to know that in the 3rd bedroom there is a twin with a trundle. I just assumed it would be a double bed. Great property and the management is wonderful!

Nice property but too many problems for the top dollar price.
The house was clean and very adequate for our needs. However, there were 3 light bulbs out on the indoor stairway, which were repaired by the sales office upon our request. We were not given a pool card-key when we checked in, which we purchased prior to arrival. It was brought to us later. When we went to use it we found it was not needed as on of the lock on the pool access gate was disabled and anyone could come into the area without a card key. Also the garage door opener did not work which required that someone enter the house and go to the garage to open the garage door. The remote garage door opener was replaced the second day of our rental. Finally the only key we were given only opened one door on the ground floor. We did not have keys to any of the other exterior doors especially the front door which is on the second floor. These problem are relatively simple problems which can be easily solved with proper maintenance and supervision. Obviously lacking by the management company.

Great weekend beach getaway
We had a terrific weekend at this impressive home in Beachtown. The house was very clean and quite large that could more than fit our family of 4 comfortably. The kitchen, dining room and living room area flowed really well as we spent most evenings when not strolling around the community on this floor. We had dinner each night on the patio overlooking the beach and sunset which was a great way to cap off each day. The location is terrific for a walk to the beach. Our kids would scooter and we would take the wagon from the house to the walkway onto the beach each day. Look forward to going again.

Comfort, View, Location!
The property was superb and had a terrific view. The only problem we experienced was the garage door tended to stick on closing. The townhouse was light and airy, close to the beach, comfortable, close to town, and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved it!

Very well set up & enjoyable.
Very well set up & enjoyable.
As a note...the back door in the kitchen would not lock.
The toilet paper holder on floor 2 was broken.
Otherwise, everything was good.

Beautiful home and great location!
My family enjoyed our stay so much. Perfect home for us with beautiful views and close to the beach. Needed help with a few minor things and service was impeccable and everyone so nice. Highly recommend!
4.7
Beautiful house with great view.
Our family loved the house. This is an extremely well built house with high end finishes. One can simultaneously look at the beach and watch the incoming and outgoing ship channel traffic. The porch cafe is walking distance and is a great spot for cocktails or a nice meal. Once you are here you don't have to leave the neighborhood. The beach is an easy walk and was pretty quiet and tranquil on our visit. We look forward to returning.

Okay
We were familiar with the area and really like it. The townhome, however needed repairs and paint. I was expecting the home be more updated and more attention to details.
But I am very particular.

Lovely.
Well appointed, lacked nothing except - my curling iron. Directions and instructions were clear and the office was accommodating with our early checkout.
