I would say this is the best view on all of Ossipee lake.
Come for the view and the water and the front porch!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, tidy cottage on a perfect lake, this spot checks all of the boxes. This place has all the basics you need for making great food, playing table games, reading and relaxing outside, and talking by a campfire. An incredible home base for any exploration of the White Mountains. Next time, I would rent a kayak or two just to enjoy more of Lake Ossippe's splendor. This is the place for making memories.

We had a wonderful stay. We brought our cockapoo with us and she loved it. It was very quiet and relaxing. Loved listening to the lapping of the water and eating our meals in the screened in porch. Property was just as advertised. Neighborhood was great to get a run in. Would visit again.

This place has potential. Sadly, the cleanliness upon arrival was not what we expected. Moldy bathroom, dust bunnies on the bedding, dead bugs on the floors, grilling utensils left outside and dirty. There was a boarded up window. Food left in the freezer and so much more. We spent a good day just cleaning this place. It is truly sad, because the location is within walking distance to our family. We would love to stay again and even potentially stay longer if Vacasa could guarantee they will do their job

This was the perfect little getaway for three ladies looking for a peaceful and relaxing trip. The cottage is very charming with a lovely screened in porch and cute little beach area. It is very quiet and serene with beautiful views of the lake. We read our books and swam during the day, then watched movies and snacked at night. Easy to find and not too far from groceries, etc. Would definitely return!

Beautiful spot on Ossippee Lake of the mountains. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and perfect for three adults over a long weekend. The screened in porch was a favorite and had most everything you could think of - kitchen wise plus towels, linens were supplied. We would stay again.

Wonderful and peaceful 4-day vacation. The place was clean, tidy, filled with all needed amenities, easily accessible and lovely lakeview from almost every window. We couldn't have asked for more. Great time and would visit again!

House was spacious enough for 3 couples and 2 kids in the loft. Great location steps away from the water. Living room carpet could use a deep clean, but that is probably expected for a home that allows dogs. Our lab had the time of his life!

The lake was beautiful. Very nice sitting on porch.Disappointed no dock and the mooring did not have a rope to connect to boat.
Only place to put boat in is Marina on other side of Lake.
Was supposed to stay for 2 weeks. Did not know there was not a washer and dryer.

Everything was great except water pressure couldn’t take showers

House was nice plenty of space. We had to sweep the porch, deck, steps to the grill. Wash the lawn chairs and porch chairs before using them. Too bad there’s not much access to the water but we managed to clear a path and rocks from the beach area to use. Definitely an improvement. Would have been even better if a dock was there like all the camps but it was a very enjoyable week with our family members who visited

This was a great place for family of all ages. Plenty of gathering room outside for sitting by the water, corn hole and outdoor games. Location is private and sunsets spectacular. Well equipped cottage with great screened in porch. Access to the water is a bit tricky so watch the little ones! We had a great week!

June week at ossipee
The view was spectacular & cabin had all we needed and was comfy. The review did say it was struggle getting down to lake - want to say I do not understand why a railing is not on the board we had to walk down. It felt dangerous and I so wished there was a dock so we could get some sun. Again the view is priceless but there was not a way to warm in the sun with all the trees. We loved walking around the wooded lake but would not stay again as my desire was to lay in the sun for a week. If you do not need this- it’s a gorgeous space to relax

Great Place To Relax & Unwind.....
Really wonderful rental loaded with amenities. Bring your Firestick/Chromecast if you want something to watch after a day in the lake, which is feet away! Literally! Wonderful views, multiple spots to relax, and close to things to do like North Conway and Mount Washington. Fully loaded kitchen, comfortable living/dining spaces, and quiet surroundings. Would very much stay again.

Lakeview Cottage
We had the best time here! It was perfect. The screened in porch on the lakeside of the house, was so amazing and peaceful in the morning and perfect for hanging out at night. There were tons of clean linens and plenty of pillows and blankets. We had a one year old, five year old, 16 year old and a 20 year old; everyone loved it.
The husbands couldn't get over how well the property was kept!!
We will be back for sure!!

Great stay.
The house was great enough room for 7 of us, 4 adults 2 preteens and 1 18 month old. The property was good but very sandy. Beds were all comfortable but sandy. We get being in the woods there would be bugs but tiny ants on the counter we could have done without. The orkin guy showed up while we were there which was good but he obviously didnt go inside but once he left there was just an excessive amount more of dead bugs everywhere. Water pressure was not good but do-able. Over all it was an amazing spot and we would rent again in the future. Thanks!

A wonderful place to get away
My family and I spent four nights in this home in June 2021. There were five of us two adults and three kids ages (12, 9, 6). Believe me when I say the pictures do not do justice to the views. We were blessed with beautiful weather for our stay and enjoyed warm breezes off the lake in the afternoon and playing cards in the screen porch at night listening to the loons. This house is exactly what I want in a lakefront house, all the comforts of home without being so nice that you feel bad walking into the kitchen with sand on your feet. The house was immaculate and we really enjoyed the small touches of linens, beach towels and a couple of floats for the water. We loved that the home was pet-friendly and brought our Labrador retriever. Anyone who knows labs knows that there is nothing happier than a lab in a lake. We made some wonderful memories at this property and hope to do so again in the future. Please pass our thanks to the homeowner for sharing this special place with us.

Fall getaway
Wonderful time at this great lake getaway! Loved it!

Great spot, but disappointing features for the price.
This is truly a great spot. Right on top of the lake with great views. Unfortunately, for the price, we were expecting a better experience. First, we asked for an early check in, but were told the cleaning crew needed until 4 pm. If checkout is 10 am, they had 6 hours to clean. When we arrived, the kitchen and porch were very sandy. I get it is a sandy lot, but it did not seem vacuumed. Also, the last renters left the grill utensils outside and dirty from whatever they cooked. While they were supposed to clean them, I would expect the cleaning crew would take care of that for the next renter, especially where I had to pay $150 for a cleaning fee. Additionally, being on the water in the fresh air, you want to have the windows open. Each sill had months' worth of cob webs and dead insects. It would take the cleaning crew just a couple minutes and a few swipes of paper towels to fix that. Again for $150 cleaning fee and $300+ a night, these are reasonable expectations. Finally, the biggest issue we had was with the screened porch. It is a beautiful view and could be the best part of the property. Unfortunately, there were gaping holes in the screens. I wish I could attach pictures. One of the panels of the screen door, had 3 of 4 sides of the screen detached from the door. A cat or small dog could have used it as a pet door. Perhaps that's what happened to it in the first place. But again, this could have and should have been fixed, at relatively minimal expense, when I'm paying $300+ a night. You should have full use of the amenities of the property without having to swat away flies and mosquitoes. Again, this could be a great spot, but disappointing given the price. At a minimum, I should get my cleaning fee back.

Great location but the house is tired.
The location is amazing and lake is stunning. However, the rental is tired. The furniture is worn and the kitchen not well stocked. The utensils, pots, pans and plate are old and worn. In addition, if there is food left on the counter for any period of time an army of ants will emerge. Upon turning on the ceiling fan we were showered with dust and dead bugs.

Beautiful location
Wonderful lakefront property. Enjoyed our stay in quintessential New Hampshire cottage. Well equipped kitchen, extra linens available, mooring was perfect to tie our water floats to, and for our morning coffee we even sighted a black bear! Would definitely visit again!

Relax by the lake 🇦🇺
We are from Australia 🇦🇺 and had been travelling around NH and Maine coast for 2 weeks when we arrived, it was the perfect place to get away, it was so peaceful after the summer crowds had left. The house had everything you could want and was clean, comfortable beds but close to a shop, laundry and activities. We were happy to relax on the deck or beach and watch the sun go down over the mountains. We recommend this house, while a little bit rustic , it has everything you need to relax and enjoy the lake.

Beautiful porch and deck. Great view! The cabin was really nice.
The tiny beach was great for adults & teens, but definitely not for toddlers.

Terrible location
My sister is disabled and could not go down to water - besides the rocks and wood ramp that was slippery even for teenagers to get down it would have been nice to see a set of stairs it would have made it better to go into the rock infested shore line - not enough towels for showering- rocking chair on porch was broken I fell and hurt my back - 1 trash barrel for a family of 8 with a weeks worth of trash was horrible it was sticky and smelt disgusting-the fire pit could fit 3-4 people on the back side of it because it was on the water and the wind coming from the water and sitting on the edge of the rock shore line was impossible- overall the house was fine but accessibility to the lake was so disappointing for my sister that sat in pain while watching us in between trees that we blocking the water view- if I knew this when booking I would never have paid what I did for it not worth the money

We loved the location and house! It was very clean, beautiful spot on the lake. The sandy area was great for the kids and the fire pit was perfect. It was a great spot for our oldest children to play and swim. We had a blast!
