The Hygge Hut has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) and has a relaxed cozy vibe! The house is an A frame style so the primary bedroom and living area are not large but very relaxing! Located directly on the 17th hole of the Indian Mound Golf Course (public course) with lots to do on beautiful Ossipee Lake… public town boat launch, swimming, fishing, rentals for boating, jet skiing. Short drive to many hiking trails, NH state parks and the White Mountains for skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snow tubing and snow mobile adventures! The house was cute and just as pictured and the setting in back was great. The house was tidy, but could use a thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs, dust, dog hair/fuzz under furniture, on window sills, etc. We were disappointed the pool/beach were not available, but the host gave us the option to cancel for a full refund in advance.

We had a great time at the Hygge Hut, it was very cozy and a great experience for our family along with our pup. We enjoyed the golf course path, the many recommendations for food and things to do in the area, as well as the overall vibe of the place. Lisa was a great host, and everything was just as described in the listing. We look forward to visiting again.

Our stay at The Hygge Hut was amazing! The property was just what we needed for ourselves and two dogs. The pups had a blast hiking through local spots and checking out the beach. we loved how quiet it was and even the dogs were relaxed. Great place to stay and get away. The screened in porch could use some work. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is definitely a tiny home and the back patio could use a little love but overall well worth it. There is a small toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator available, if you need it. There are blankets throughout the home. I really did enjoy sipping my morning coffee on the back patio watching the golfers as the view was great. Easy access to the main road. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hygge Hut is so cute and met all our needs. My 3yo was obsessed with the “triangle house.” It’s location was convenient to many amenities and easy access to skiing.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy A-Frame! My daughters loved the loft bedroom upstairs. Perfect for a family of 4! Our two dogs felt right at home as well! If it wasn’t winter I could imagine the back porch would’ve been amazing to sit & have coffee in the AM. Great location next to all restaurants & the lake. We spent time visiting with friends near by for the new year & it was super close & convenient. Would highly recommend this to a couple or small family. Thank you!

This house was perfect for a family get away to relax. It was just the end of fall so there was a little snow on the ground and the golf course was closed, which was great for us to go walking and for our little dog to run around. The house is very well designed with everything you need.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hygge Hut. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was a bit closer to the road than we had expected from the photos, but the location is very good for all White Mountain activities. We appreciated how dog friendly the space was and we enjoyed walking around the golf course and down to the lake. Lisa was very responsive when we had a question. Thank you!

This house was great! Super cute design and decor. Great location to Wolfeboro (20 minute drive). There was private access to Lake Ossipee but a little drive from the house and not our preference for the type of access for swimming - more a spot to enjoy the scenery and have a picnic.

We were getting married in a day and a half after arrival and were disappointed to find the cute A-frame depicted in the photos ( definitely very cute) was a tiny A-frame on a BUSY road, directly across from a boat garage. We were immediately contacted by the host (cameras everywhere!!) asking how many dogs we brought. We had booked for two and a small third dog belonging to my daughter ( my bridesmaid) had to come along last mto pet sitter canceling that very morning.
We let the host know the situation, and let her know we could ask my parents to watch him and she did not say this would be needed, nor let us know there would be an additional 100 fee, and ignored my question, leading us to believe there was no issue. She checked in with us as she was clearly watching us on the cameras, and I felt uncomfortable with this, despite the acknowledgement in the listing that there were cameras set up.
The space had NOT ONE SINGLE SPACE to hang anything, and we had a tuxedo, wedding dress and bridesmaid's gown to hang. It was not until we were cleaning under the beds that we discovered several drawers under the tiny full-sized Master bed. The master bedroom is tiny but it would accommodate a larger bed. The mattress was nice but sharing it is not uncomfortable.
The Loft area is cute but nowhere to hang/ store ANYTHING.
A dresser with a small space to hang a few items should be added in the loft, as there is room for it. Unsure why this simple piece of furniture is missing but it is definitely needed.
Because it's a smal A-frame the walls lead you to duck sidewaysunless you are in the middle of the house. The kitchen is so tiny and there is NOcooking ability. There's a hot plate and we wanted to make a little pasta, but there's no strainer or pot so we used a frying pan to cook the pasta.
We were married on August 14th and stayed until the 17th. Upon our 10:00 a.m. check out, we were struggling to add floral arrangements and gifts into our already packed car, which took extra time. We were able to clean all of the dishes and refrigerator, put the dishes away and check to make sure the home was ready to be cleaned ( by the cleaning service which is included in the overpriced listing). According to the owner, the cleaning service supposedly came by the home as we were getting prepared to leave and charged her a fee which was 100 on top of the 75 fee. She claimed we left dog hair/ dog slime on the cheap Wal-Mart futon but we covered it with a blanket!

We loved staying at the Hygge Hut. My wife and I and our two daughters (and our dog Pip!) spent four lovely nights there. Clean and cozy with thoughtful and responsive owners. Who could ask for more!

This was perfect for the weekend getaway my husband and I were hoping for. It made all the difference in the world to have our puppies with us- they loved the ease of the back porch and deck all with the added bonus of watching all the golfers as they passed by. We happened to catch some beautiful sunsets mixed with passing thunderstorms during our stay. The lake access was lovely- about a mile up the road, with lots of sand, picnic tables and more area on the lake to explore than I ever imagined without access to a boat. You gazed right at the mountain right across the lake.
For those who love to hike, incredible trails were on every side (we enjoyed Sentinel and Whiteface Mountain trails during our stay- both around 2 miles and just the right challenge for a couple 40 year olds wanting to tire out their pups and take in a stunning summit but not too far away).
Food was easy to find (we really enjoyed the local Mountainview Station 1.5 miles away, then also Wolfetrap Grill and Rawbar right on lake Winnipesaukee about 20 minutes away). Aroma Joes was great for coffee in the morning (drive through and only 4 miles away).
As far as the house, it’s just as charming and clean as it looks in the pictures. Everything in the house was comfortable, we loved the mattresses (our backs just can’t hack an old mattress anymore).
The host was really helpful, friendly and available if needed. We loved the welcome snacks and wine after a long drive in. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hygge hut. It was immaculate and well stocked. Its location on the golf course was perfect. Most importantly, we could bring our two small pups with us. Will definitely stay there again when I am in the area. Thank you for a wonderful visit to the Ossipee Lake Region.

The Hygge Hut was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It’s also in a perfect location to enjoy some peace and quite, just minutes away from the lake where you get to enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the mountains. The host was very attentive and thoughtful with every detail, and even ensured that our pup felt welcomed at the Hygge. Our pup fell in love with the freedom he had watching the golf carts pass by. We cannot wait to return again!

House was the perfect size for our family. My husband and two young kids really enjoyed this fully renovated A frame home. It is close to Ossipee Lake and had a great view off the back deck overlooking the golf club. Also it was decorated very nicely.

We spent 3 nights at Hygge Hut with our dog and it was terrific! The location is perfect for hiking, swimming, and great restaurants. We took the dog to the lake several times and also found some dog friendly swimming holes on the Saco. The golf course is super fun (even for beginner golfers like my daughter and me).. Lisa was a warm and wonderful host. She gave us great restaurant ideas and gave us some of her handmade soap to bring home to NJ. We can't wait to return!

Super easy experience. Stayed two nights with good friends for a wedding in Ossipee. A-frame is right off 16 and on the Indian Mound Golf Course. Very dog friendly location. Small, but exactly what we expected.

Lisa’s property was amazing, exactly what we needed! It was easy to get to, and close enough to everything; food, beach, hiking trails, and not to forget the golf course it sets on behind the property. All around perfect for our stay on our wedding weekend! The house was clean and very tidy upon arrival, nothing but 5 stars for this place! Perfect in ever way and we plan to come back and stay for another weekend on our anniversary.

This is a cute vacation spot, with access to a beach and boating area on the lake, and pool about 5 mins walk away. It was cozy for two adults and two kids. The fittings are immaculate. Lisa was a generous host, with snacks on arrival. Wifi is good, good local coffee shop nearby ('Batter Up'). It's just off a secondary road, but the enclosed deck keeps toddlers / dogs from wandering. We would stay here again.

Stayed here with two friends for a golf outing. The Hygge Hut was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The host was prompt in communication. It's easy to get to with good restaurants and other activities close by. We will be back!

We loved the Hygge Hut, definitely recommend if you want a cute little getaway! The place looked exactly like the pictures. It was small, but was comfortable and had everything that we needed for 2 people and our dog. And if we ever needed to ask Lisa a question, she was very responsive to our text messages. Like everyone else had mentioned, there's no curtain on the front door so people are able to look right into the house at night. But there really aren't any neighbors so it wasn't too much of a problem. I ended up parking my car right in front of the door to block the view a bit. Took advantage of the warm weather by grilling outside and playing fetch with our dog in the huge backyard. The backyard is literally part of the golf course so you do see golfers and golf carts go by (they never came too close though). Also loved being able to access the lake - it's so beautiful!

This was our second stay at the property this year. We enjoyed our first visit so much we decided to return for my sons birthday. The house is super comfortable and just the right size for us. The hosts are very welcoming and have snacks and wine waiting when you arrive. The location is great because it feels secluded but it is only a minute drive to the grocery store, bank, liquor store and a restaurant. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hut!

This little hut was a comfortable weekend couples getaway. I definitely would recommend going in the summer, since we went in the winter and there wasn't a whole lot to do! I loved the thoughtful details Lisa put into our weekend get away and the fact that my pup was allowed to come. This was the perfect little intimate getaway spot. Defilinetly would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hussle and bussle of ever day for some rest and relaxation. The comfiest and coziest blankets!!Lisa was consistently available for contact and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. I would be happy to stay at a place of lisa's again :)

We had a great weekend at the Hygge hut. The place is pet friendly and we were able to take our little one with us. We had so much fun. The back yard in winter full of snow was stunning. I would just recommend a curtain in the front door to keep the privacy at night when the lights are on because the hut is too close to the road.The place is cozy, charming and minimalist. Perfect if you are looking for a different experience.

We had a lovely stay at this little gem. The Hugge Hut is tiny, but well appointed and comfy. It was great to find a spot that was so dog friendly. Conveniently located for lots of winter activities. Owners were friendly, helpful, and responsive. And there was great pizza right down the road!

My partner, his dog, and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway and it was really near perfect. The back area was spacious and awesome for us and the pup, and the house itself was beautiful and unique and just fun to be in. It is near the road, and therefore is not very secluded (and does not have curtains in the front), but well worth it. It was easy to communicate with the property owner (we left a skillet there and she so kindly sent it back to us no-charge). I would highly recommend this place!
