The cottage had a lovely view of the lake which we enjoyed from the screened in porch and the outside deck. The place was immaculate with many thoughtful touches. These hosts have thought of it all! Would love to stay again. The host was very responsive with the few quick questions we had.

Access to the private beach is really only obtainable by driving to and walking through the neighborhood beach. Walk down the very slept and dangerous hill can be achieved if you are bringing nothing with you and wearing laced shoes. Definitely not an option if you have any walking challanges Outside of not having waterfront…Property has an awesome view of the lake, is very well kept and had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay. Met the property Managers/owners while there…They are super nice and we felt they really wanted us to enjoy ourselves With exception to not having waterfront (we really felt we were getting that based off of the description) the property met/exceeded our expectations

The cottage was very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Amenities are nearby! The paddle ball court was a pleasant surprise and fun. The hike down to the beach is steep but there is always the road. Kayaking the lake was great, loons and eagles kept us company! Sunrises were stunning, views amazing and the peacefulness of the property made the trip absolutely fantastic.

Perfect little cottage overlooking Ossipee lake. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view. The path down to the waterfront is steep, but our kids were able to do it, even our 4 year old. We enjoyed the lake with all of the different boats provided and swam lots! The only thing we would've liked to have was a washer and dryer as that would've been helpful with little kiddos, but otherwise we loved this property. Very clean and well stocked. Owners were helpful and very welcoming. We'd certainly recommend it and hope to come back soon!

When we arrived, the property was cleaned. There were over 100 ants. We called property manager but did not hear back and left before the week was finished. I wrote requesting renumberation and have not heard back. Very disappointing for such an expensive cost.

Sitting on the hill overlooking the lake was heavenly! A short drive to the beach which was not heavily populated. Clean water! Property as described and more! Any kitchen item needed was provided right down to a teapot and coffee maker. Could not have enjoyed a more relaxing stay!!!! Paradise! Already looking forward to next year!

The views are beautiful and my family had fun using the kayaks on the lake as well as playing at the beach. The owners were very responsive and helpful with our questions both before and during our stay. We will happily go back again!

Our stay at the Bluffs Cottage was a memorable one. The property is beautiful (pictures of the Ossipee Lake view do not do it justice) and we lucked out with near perfect weather. The hosts have done a great job with this cottage; it is clean and welcoming. I would agree with the reviews that discouraged walking down to the private beach via the path. It is very steep and difficult. We were able to get it done in sneakers but trying to walk back up will take a lot out of you. But fear not, it is an easy drive down to the association beach with ample parking and access to your private beach. We spent hours kayaking (provided) and had no problem beaching the pontoon boat we rented for a day. The hosts were very responsive. I would recommend this property to everyone as it is likely the only place on the lake with both stunning elevated lake views and a private beach. We can't wait to go back!

We picked this property because of the screened in porch overlooking the lake. A charming cabin with all the modern amenities. This was a fantastic location, close to many forest trails. We lucked out and hit peak leaf peeping. We also thoroughly enjoyed Ed's Macoan apples purchased on the roadside.

My husband, 10 yo son and I just stayed here over Labor Day weekend. From the stunning views to the charming cottage, there is nothing amiss here, we cannot wait to go back. There are so many delightful spots to cozy up with a book inside and out, an awesome sand badminton court, a well equipped kitchen, an awesome fire pit, 2 great kayaks to use and a peaceful, shaded beach. The cottage was sparkly clean. I would not recommend walking down to the private beach unless you are a mountain goat BUT the association beach is a short drive away and its nice AND attached to the private beach, which we really enjoyed. Kerry was great at answering all of my little questions during our stay as well. Go, you won't regret it. And get up to watch the sunrise.

Our family enjoyed a week on the Bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Ossipee. The sunsets were amazing and we lucked out with a perfect week, weather-wise. The house had everything we needed (except lobster cracking tools) and it was immaculate. Enjoyed several dining options to suit our needs (indoors or out) and made a fire pit roar every evening. The bedrooms are on the small side but we slept well. Says it sleeps 6 or 7 but really more like 4 adults and 2 children (bunk beds). Only real disappointment was that it was very difficult terrain to get down to the small private beach - but only a half mile drive down - no parking issues. Worked out fine.

What an amazing vacation! The home was so cozy and had everything you needed when it came to basic supplies. If you needed to run out for something there were stores right down the road. The views are spectacular and the beach was a short car ride away. Our host even greeted us on the day of arrival which was very kind. We ended each night in front of the fire watching the sun set and spent hours on the screened in porch throughout the evening. Even rain storms were absolutely beautiful. There was always something to do and definitely a place we will return to. I still can't stop showing everyone the incredible views!
