Andrew went above and beyond to provide the best stay for my bachlorette crew! I cannot thank him enough for accommodating us so kindly! The location is great for walking to and from popular spots in the city. The house is very clean and has everything you would need to stay!

We (6 adults) were in Charleston for a wedding & Andrew's place was perfect! We rented the penthouse & the apartment below it - 2 beds/baths up and 2 beds/baths down. The place was well-appointed, very clean & safe - only two blocks from King St. Andrew was VERY nice & friendly! We would definitely stay here again.

When I booked this listing which entailed an upstairs & downstairs unit I was told that they were mirror images of each other. Photos show this. Problem is that renovations have been done & there are now twins in 1 room & queen in the “mirror” room.
The property manager met us at the homes & walked us thru showing the changes that had been done. But the TVs had been blown from a storm earlier that week & were not fixed. He got 2 of the 4 TVs working that night but never did get the TVs in the bedrooms working. This was a big deal to my 92 year old father-in-law who wanted to watch tv while we had family time.
Finally, the updates added a full bath to the master bedrooms. It is a Euro bath for lack of a better term. You can not use the toilet without rubbing the wall beside it. Nice to have a full bath off the master but way to tight of a space to get ready in.
Overall the houses were clean & the beds were crazy comfortable.

Very charming, well appointed cottage. Great location, easy access to downtown and back to the airport. Was a little noisy but that was the neighbors.

The "compound" was the perfect place for our family stay in Charleston (we rented two units for a total of four bedrooms). Two blocks from North King Street, this apartment is an easy walk from all the popular restaurants, shops, and bars. Bright, super clean, spacious, with luxury bedding and plenty of towels! Andrew even provided fresh flowers. A word to light sleepers -- this is in an urban setting so street noise is inherent. We just ran a fan at night for "white noise." Traveler's tip: Charleston has tons of highly acclaimed restaurants (FIG, SNOB, etc.) but we also enjoyed the low key atmosphere and less pricey offerings at The Rarebit, Basil Thai, and Juanita Greenbergs -- all on King Street. Prohibition Bar is a lot of fun, too, and a short walk from the apartment.

The place was beautifully decorated and located right downtown! Andrew was a pleasure to work with and thought of everything, even down to fresh flowers in the living room.

We were a group of 12 girls in total traveling to Charleston for the first time for a bachelorette party and this was the perfect house for us. We rented both of the apartments and each apartment fit 6 of us comfortably--2 bedrooms and 1 pull out couch. The kitchen was fully stocked, the decor beautiful, and the porch upstairs was great for girl talk and unwinding after a night out. Being 12 girls though, we needed plenty of towels and Andrew was fantastic in accommodating us and answering us immediately if we had any questions. The best part of this house too is the location--it's just two avenues away from King Street and we were near all the best bars, restaurants, and walking distance from a supermarket and liquor store. One thing I'd suggest to Andrew would be to put a curtain or blinds on the front door for when people are sleeping in the living room, the light won't wake them up--something we easily remedied by draping a blanket but just a thought! Everything was incredibly convenient and I'd absolutely stay here again or at a property of Andrew's. Thank you for making our trip so special!!

The rental was the perfect house for our bachelorette weekend! Only a few blocks from the Upper King hot spots, the location made it extremely accessible for our group to walk everywhere we needed. The upstairs and downstairs units together gave us plenty of room for 9 girls. We all had ample space to get ready and feel comfortable. The linens and towels were all crisp and clean creating a luxury like stay. Andrew was incredibly responsive to any request we had! I would definitely recommend this property!

We had a great time in our rental. Andrew was a gracious host and got us towels when we needed them, responded to our texts immediately when we had an issue. House is in a perfect location --- there also was a bachelorette party next to us and we never heard them. All in all was a great time!! Five stars

This house was perfect for a girls weekend. Andrew is an amazing host and was extremely accommodating to any of our requests. We loved the location and that there was a parking lot. You can't beat it!

This place is not only in a great location, but very well managed. Comfortable linens, beautiful amenities, chic bathroom. I felt like I was there much longer than a few days. I went for a bachelorette party and rented both of the apartment units, and wow! Great concept, because we all felt it was more than enough room. We were also in great distance to shops and restaurants - no need to rent a car while we were there. Andrew was also very, very good about communication. Very quick. I really liked it and highly recommend!

Super cute renovated property. The house was in an amazing location, only a few blocks from the main part of town. This was the perfect house for a bachelorette party. We had 10 girls in the house and between the two floors there was enough sleeping space and the two bathrooms (one on each floor) actually worked out great. In addition to all the amenities already included with the property the owner was close by and able to supply us with any additional requests (towels, etc). The house and town of Charleston could not have been a more perfect setting! We all look forward to coming back!

The house was in a fantastic location and was the perfect choice for my family and I during my wedding weekend in Charleston. The house had plenty of room and was beautifully upgraded with a perfect porch for everyone to hang out on. We ended up renting the entire house and the owner with our varying check-in dates/times. It ended up being the perfect spot for my entire family to congregate, relax, and enjoy our time before the wedding. Plus it was a short walk from King St and new restaurants and bars. I highly recommend this property and will stay here again on our next big trip to Charleston.

We were not thrilled with our accommodations. As a family of 6 hoping to be renting a 4 bedroom "home" in Charleston with a large porch on the second floor with furniture to hang outside it was not what we expected. The finishes in the apartments, which these are two totally separate apartments, are nice and it is well decorated. There is a considerable amount of street noise... all night long. Two fire stations within 3 blocks. We are not sure if there was any insulation in the walls. We would not rent this property again. Great for a spring breakers or people celebrating all night. Easy walking to the happening areas of King Street.

We rented this property for 11 girls for a Bachelorette Party. Only 8 girls were able to make it due to weather, but if we would have had all 11 it would have been a tight fit. This property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, however, it is set up like two apartments on separate floors. You have to walk outside (uncovered) to get to the other set of rooms. This would have been fine, but it was pouring down rain the entire weekend we were there.
That being said, the remodel of the apartments are nice. The kitchen is quite small, but we really didn't use that too much. If you are wanting to prepare food there and eat, keep in mind, there is only bar height seating for two. There is not a dining table to sit at. The bedrooms were quite spacious. One having a kind size bed and the other having a queen size bed (same set up in the other apartment). In the lower apartment, there was only one mirror in the whole place (bathroom). We had to dig to find another mirror (there was a floor length mirror stashed in one of the closets). I would suggest putting more mirrors in both apartments.
In terms of location, this property was great. Close to King Street and a short cab/uber ride to anywhere else.
Andrew, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. The house was clean upon arrival.
All in all, I would stay here again.

The other reviewers already summed it up pretty well: a very nicely renovated property in an A+ location. Came for a bachelor party weekend with 10 other guys and the place, while not large, was roomy enough for all of us to fit comfortably. It was stocked with a variety glasses and flatware and had a Keurig machine and plenty of pods. There was also more than enough towels, toiletries and toilet paper. The only drawback was having only 2 bathrooms for 11 guys. There is plenty of parking - there were spaces for the three cars that were driven down there. Once parked, there was no reason to move the cars again as everything in Charleston is within walking distance. There are so many restaurants and bars nearby. Another plus was that the housekeeping crew took care of all cleaning when we were done: no need to strip the beds, load the dishwasher, etc. That was great considering we were 11 hungover dudes come check-out Sunday morning. Andrew was really helpful and a cool guy. Overall, this place is a great value for a large group and is highly recommended.
