About this house rental

The new addition to this house was completed in 2020. We bumped the back of the house out an additional 10' which adds 10' to the living room and we added a 3rd full bathroom off the master bedroom thus creating a true master suite.

This original home was constructed in 2011. The house is about 300 yards to the YMCA. 0.8 miles to the south entrance of Peninsula State Park. 1.3 miles to the downtown Fish Creek corner. The Top of The Hill Shops are a 0.5 miles.

This home is now 1,930 sq. ft. and within walking distance of the Gibraltar High School area. This property borders a trail that leads directly into Peninsula State Park and right to countless miles of hiking trails. (About a 200 yd walk and you are in the park)

There are three full baths in this home. The master suite has a private bath with a walk in shower. The main floor bath has a ceramic tile walk in shower with a double sink base. The upper bath has a tub/shower.

The main living area of the house has wood flooring. All bedrooms and the upstairs loft are carpeted. The two lower bedrooms have king beds. One upper bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom a queen and twin bed.

This house is located on a private drive-way and offers private seclusion. The back yard is wooded and borders an undeveloped area. A camp fire area and firewood is on site for your enjoyment. Fire wood is provided.

Great place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing, bike riding, hiking, and shopping. Well stocked! Clean! Excellent location! We walked and rode our bikes to Peninsula State Park from the house! Owners thought of everything from kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, Weber grill with all utensils including extra gas bottle, fire pit with wood, sticks for s'mores, games, more than enough towels, outdoor chairs, etc, etc... We will definitely be back!

Stayed with a group of ladies. Appreciated the 3 bathrooms.. The house was spotless. The host checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything. If I was staying with a family or a big group again, it would be the perfect place. Also, the perfect location, centrally located In Door County, easy to get around for all of our events.

This home was just perfect for our girlfriend's getaway. It is centrally located yet in a quiet, quaint neighborhood in Fish Creek. We loved how spacious the home was, and we enjoyed the gas fireplace at night while we chatted. The home is equipped with updated, comfortable furniture and all 3 of us thought the beds were very comfortable. The home was well stocked, and the amenities were plentiful. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. I can't imagine not having a spectacular time here!

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful home. I can't say enough good things about it. It is beyond stocked with all you would need. They have truly thought of everything! Check-in and check-out process couldn't be easier. The home is beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders just outside the windows. Quiet and secluded. We had a wonderful stay at Rick and Cathy’s house in Fish Creek. We were a group of seven HS girlfriends celebrating our 65th birthday year. There was plenty of room for us to sleep, eat meals, play games and hang out by the fire. (Which we did every night) The house is within walking distance of peninsula state park where we hiked and rode our bikes. We played golf, shopped and ate at lovely restaurants. Everything was within 10 minutes drive! Rick and Cathy’s house has everything you will ever need for a fun trip. Games, bag chairs, grill tools and the list goes on! The kitchen is well equipped and we wanted for nothing in our 7 day stay Thank you Rick and Cathy for sharing your house with us!

One of the best houses we have ever stayed in. Hostess was very accommodating and interested in our comfort. Immediate response from Hostess. Ample supple of linens, very clean, well stocked kitchen, garage door opener and access to garage, well maintained, thoughtful things like Kleenex in every room, lights on stair and in the bathroom at night. The house was close to downtown and all the activities that Door County has to offer but still in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. Would definitely stay here again!

Most generously stocked rental home ever, with all essentials provided for use inside & outside! Very clean & lovely decor throughout. Think the hot water tank temp needs to be turned up, as hot showers are lacking! Suggest putting non skid mat or strips in master shower. Security & audio camera at front of house was not disclosed & we felt it was invasive (actually started looking for more), we’re not comfortable being owners’ entertainment! We didn’t mind watering grass for owners vs them popping in on property (which we thought was against Vrbo rules actually).

Great house, great location. The house was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Great kitchen with 2 refrigerators and all the items you need for home cooking. We loved the fire pit area and yard for playing bocce ball and bags. We had so much nature in the back yard- blue jays, bunnies, chipmunks, deer. Walking distance to downtown Fish Creek and right next to the YMCA. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return again.

There were 6 adults and 2 children that stayed the week. It was the perfect size for quiet time and also everyone getting together for games and socializing. This location is perfect for accessing all that Fish Creek has to offer as well as other Door County attractions. The home is comfortable, very well maintained and clean. You seriously only need to be bring your clothes and personal hygiene items and you are set! Very thankful for such a nice place on our first visit visit to Door County.

This is a beautiful home. Many rentals come with a long list of things that you can’t use or do while staying at the property. By contrast, this home had just the right amount of guidelines. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated not having to purchase additional paper products and spices. The bathrooms had lots of towels and even soap. Our group of five adults felt very comfortable. The back yard borders a lovely wooded area and we enjoyed bird watching. You can tell the owners want their rental guests to feel welcome in their home. We would definitely stay here again.

After a short hiatus last year due to Covid, our foursome from the Chicago area and northern Indiana enjoyed our 22nd anniversary golfing in Door County the week after Labor Day. Our previous lodging for the past 22 years was no longer available so we tried this location...and we wished we found it 22 years ago! It is conveniently located near Fish CreeK and our golfing venues but quiet and immaculately kept with plenty of space and amentities for our evenings of R&R. We'll go back if available.
