Brookside is a 4100 sf affordable luxury home located 1/2 mile from Breckenridge Main Street and 1/4 mile from the town shuttle. It is a fantastic home with a gourmet kitchen. It has a King master suite, 3 queen bedrooms, one of which has a loft containing an additional 2 twin beds, and a bunk room with a queen bottom and twin top. Set up for skiing, it has a large ski room with benches and individual lockers. Just 1.5 blocks from shuttle stop or short 1/2 mile to base of Peak 9! For complete privacy, it sits on over an acre of land, so it feels totally secluded even though it's in town. The name 'Brookside' describes the unique setting of this home ~ built like a bridge over the Illinois Creek. Sitting in an aspen grove with a spectacular view of Peak 8, and the soothing sound of your own babbling brook, Brookside is the perfect getaway for ALL seasons. We absolutely loved this property! It was exactly as listed. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything. The living areas were roomy and so comfortable. The bedrooms were large and has lots of storage. Steam shower was a nice bonus! Just beautiful views. Felt like you were on a property with no one else around. We will definitely book again. Management was extremely nice and helpful!

This property was exactly as advertised and couldn’t be more perfect. It was actually more space than we expected. Close to town and the house was stocked with everything we only needed to get a few grocery’s. The Host was super responsive and really nice!

This was one of the best vrbo’s I have ever stayed in. It was beautiful, roomy, very well stocked, and had a beautiful view. It was a short drive to everything we wanted to do. One of the most special things was when we checked in after dark, the living room was lit up with a full size decorated Christmas tree. That meant a lot and set the mood for our quick trip to Colorado. All of our pre-trip questions were answered quickly and the host was great. If we ever come here again, we would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!

Stayed at Jacks house for 5 days for a snowboarding trip. The house provided everything we needed and communication with the host was easy and fast. Drive to the lift and downtown was 5 min and super easy.

The house was great, clean, spacious, beautiful design, high quality materials. Fully stacked kitchen. Steam shower in the master bathroom was sublime. Host was super easy to communicate with and very responsive. The chalet is 10min walk down to the ice rink - the free shuttle takes you to the slopes from there. Overall easy to get to for a group of adults without a car. Overall we all had a great time and we highly recommend !

We recently stayed at Jack's house for a ski trip with friends and family (a group of 12), and I can confidently say it was one of the best rental experiences I've had. The location couldn't be beat - it was just a five minute drive to the ski slopes and made getting on and off the mountain a breeze. While it is close to the local bus, it is a bit far to walk in ski boots, and we would recommend having someone to shuttle you if possible to Beaver Run, at the base of Peak Nine.
The house itself was stunning, with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals and we loved gathering around the cozy fireplace in the evenings. The hot tub was a particular favorite, and we loved soaking in it after a long day on the mountain. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, and there was plenty of storage for all of our gear in the downstairs gear room.
Jack was easy to communicate with, and was extremely accommodating of several requests. Overall, I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a convenient, spacious, and beautiful home base for their ski trip or mountain getaway.

This home was so spacious amd provided everything we could possibly need! There were 11 of us and we had an extra bedroom to spare!! Nice surprises were sleds, wood for the wood-burning fireplace, plenty of spices, a well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds! We will definitely return!!

We were thrilled when we arrived to this property. The location to Main Street is amazing! We enjoyed being in a home while still super close to Main and ski lifts. Plenty of bedrooms and beds to host our 4 families and kiddos. The hottub was so nice to relax in after a day of skiing and the kids loved the playground even in the snow! The kitchen was also stocked so well (spices, coffee, creamer etc) which was a pleasant surprise. Jack was wonderful to work with and responded quickly to messages. He provided us with pack n plays for the toddlers which made our traveling so much easier. We will definitely be back!

This house was way more than we expected! It felt like home! Every room is full of anything you could need. Appliances, humidifiers, a sauna, etc. Beautiful location, close to the slopes & town, but far enough away to have privacy. Owner & property manager were very helpful and kind. Coming back in a few years!

Would be perfect if home had humidity control or large-scale humidifiers in each of the 3 main sections of the home. Very difficult to sleep at night due to the dryness of the air.

Beautiful property and excellent location
We came for a ski experience but would love to come back in the summer. It was a hassle free rental experience with everything we needed. Jack was easily accessible for any questions. The property is close to everything but feels secluded. Really enjoyed the views from the sunroom and hot tub!

Perfect stay!
Our stay at this beautiful home could not of been more perfect! The home is amazing for several families. Big dinning table, many places to sit and gather after a long day on the slopes. Location was perfect too! I think we were 5 minutes away from peak 9 and 15 mins away from the south gondola lot which takes you to peak 7 and 8. Communication with Jack couldn’t of been better!! Honestly, no complaints!

Great Week in Breck
Overall the house is very nice and spacious. We enjoyed our time in Breck. The house is a couple minutes from town - too far to walk in the Winter but just a short drive. The ice rink is also very close and they were accommodating on our off day from skiing. Its 25 minutes to Copper Mountain and 45 minutes to Vail. We had two moose hanging out around the house and saw a red fox several times.

Family Christmas
The visit to this property was better than anything we have experienced. Since family didn’t get to spend Christmas together this was a fabulous chance to enjoy each other. Everything at the property was so well organized and clean with more than enough space for everyone. The only suggestion we have is that when there is snow and ice we noted the bus stop is further than we thought from reading comments from others. However since driving is so convenient to everything, that worked best. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful home.

Troubles in Paradise
This is a beautiful home in a good location. I always (as an owner of 5 rental properties ourselves) want to start with the good. There were some small issues at the house (no garage door openers, steam shower didn’t work, kitchen faucet broken, coffee maker damaged, no shampoo/conditioner, lukewarm showers) to name a few. But what was very upsetting during our stay was the owner and his “property managers” poor communication styles and lack of respect for their guests privacy and personal property. We had an incident where the property manager entered the home when we were out to dinner without our permission to close the garage door we accidentally left open and “check the water temperature.” She took it upon herself to move our clean and dry snowboarding equipment downstairs to a ski room. Unfortunately two things went missing during this process and the owner nor property manager did anything to rectify this but instead got extremely defensive over their actions. All in all we didn’t let it ruin our trip but had to replace a few hundred $$$ worth of equipment and deal with less than stellar attitudes from Jack and Debbie.

Beautiful Home, Quiet Setting, Amazing Location!
We came to Breckenridge to ski for a couple of days with our family of 8. This home was very spacious with a wonderful place to gather for eating and hanging out together. The bedrooms were somewhat separate from each other, which was nice. All beds were very comfortable with nice linens. Everything was very clean and well appointed.
The location was amazing! So close to the base of the mountain (we chose to drive 3 minutes and park but you could walk to the shuttle stop) and the downtown area. Also close to parks and the little sledding hill for our youngest.
This home is set back in the trees with beautiful views from every window! It is quiet and very serene. The brook (which was snowed over, of course) actually runs under part of the house! It was awesome! My kids want to come back in the summer to check that out. There is a fun playset in the yard and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow at the house, as well as all of us enjoying the hot tub every evening.

Unforgettable
We had two families stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. The pictures are 100% accurate. Great views, great location, and great memories were had by all. Anytime we reached out to the owner, he was quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property and we would happily stay again. Very convenient location, 5 mins from Breck and the ski lifts. We saw a moose the first day we were there as well. As a side note, there are a ton of spices and food Items in the pantry should you forget something. There was also ample supply of tp, paper towels, soap, etc although we did buy our own prior to arriving. All in all, this property delivered and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We hope others will have the same wonderful experience we had here!

Amazing, beautiful home. Private and secluded yet easily accessible,. Perfect location for skiing and Main Street. Our group of 11 adults had plenty of space and comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the spacious hot tub. Owner was so kind to have it promptly filled/top-it-off twice during our 5 night stay.

Beautiful large home perfect for families or groups
We had 10 adults for a holiday family gathering. We had plenty of space for everyone. Well equipped kitchen - we cooked several nights. The home is in a very private setting not too far from town. We used ski-Uber to get to and from the slopes as the shuttle was too far to walk. Hot tub was great! Outdoor BBQ grill was great! WiFi and television were great. Nice large ski room to keep all ski equipment. Our entire crew really enjoyed the home! This is a great Breckinridge rental.

Beautiful spacious mountain home.
Our family had a wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised there was a decorated Christmas tree and mantle in the family room that we enjoyed on our Christmas week vacation. It was a beautifully decorated house. It had several rooms that our large family could gather in. The scenery of the mountain from the sunroom is stunning, especially with all the snow draping the landscape. I loved that the kitchen was centrally located and well stocked with everything we needed to cook with for our large group. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it’s easy access to and from the house. The master bedroom was a wonderful retreat in itself as it was away from the other rooms. The steam shower upstairs was a big hit. A lot of snow fell the week we were there which made it great for skiing and for my young grandchildren to sled down the driveway. The storage/ ski room location made it very convenient to store all the ski equipment before entering the house. This home is within walking distance to the shuttle but when carrying skis and children , we did not attempt it. It was easier for us to shuttle ourselves. We truly enjoyed the whole week. Wonderful memories were made that we will cherish forever.
The only issue we had is that we didn’t know how to control the heat/ heated floors and it got quite warm upstairs in the bedrooms. Thankfully windows could be opened in those rooms. The owner was always quick to reply to all my questions during the booking process. I’m sure he would of addressed our heating questions if contacted. Several contact numbers were listed in the information packet in the house but we chose not to contact him regarding the warm rooms and just opened the windows.
Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home for us to use to celebrate Christmas and a a 60th birthday. I would love to see the property in the summer. I’m sure it’s even more stunning.

Heaven in the mountains
We had a fabulous stay at a beautiful home. Our family, which included 6 month old to 60 year olds and a lot in between, had a wonderful time. The view each morning of the mountain was unreal. We appreciated the lovely kitchen, the large television, the jacuzzi tub and the heated floor in the master bath. I would recommend this to a large family who needs the space.

Beautiful Home in a great location!
This place was beautiful! The kids especially loved the loft area, they loved having a sleep over! The beds were comfortable and everything you could need for a comfortable stay was provided. It was also so close to the shuttle and town, which was nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Vacation
The house was perfect for a group of 13. Great place to hang out after a long day of skiing. Big area for socializing as a group without feeling cramped. Very well stocked kitchen to cook in house for a large group. Close to town, so it was easy to get skiers back and forth to the lift. It was also very convenient to get to town for groceries, restaurants, or walking the town. We will be back...
