About this cottage rental
PET FRIENDLY OCEAN FRONT 1/2 Duplex!! 3 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront 1/2 duplex with expanded decks. Interconnecting doors make this home perfect for those wanting to be "together but separate" . Bedding is 2 Queens, 2 Doubles and 1 Twin. Stackable washer/dryer. Charcoal grill. ***LINENS ARE PROVIDED FROM Mid Spring thru Mid Fall. (May 10-Sept 13 weeks) (FULL WEEKS, FULL PRICE ONLY).**** Pet friendly with 2 pets maximum. $100 non-refundable pet fee (small to medium size) per pet. Rents Saturday to Saturday. Gas grill provided - gas tenant responsibility. New decking faces ocean and parking under house. Fish cleaning station under home also. Very pretty part of the beach! Rents Saturday to Saturday. Smoking permitted on the deck.

Emerald Isle offers Family fun for everyone....with bike and jogging trails that run parallel to Emerald Dr, miniature golf, go carts, water slide, great shopping in Emerald Plantation, movie theater, restaurants that include everything from pizza to burgers to Seafood. The Bogue Inlet Pier is a must see to find out what the "catch of the day" is. If you just need to relax, pull up a chair and enjoy the ocean waves while reading a good book. We've got you covered. Emerald Isle also offers a Public Boat Ramp (no fees) located at Jean Preston Park about mid way the island. (near Chapel By the Sea). There is a play ground and public restroom located there as well. We have multiple kayak launch areas and parks within the city limits, including a Sound front park with dock located on Coast Guard Road and one on Cedar St. (great to go crabbing at) You may also enjoy Surf Fishing all along the 12 mile stretch of our beautiful island. We have a Fishing Gear store and several Convenient Stores that offer bait, hooks and other fishing items you will need. Don't forget you need a Fishing License to Surf Fish but can enjoy fishing from the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier by purchasing a fishing pass for the day or week. Check out our new grocery store Publix located beside Emerald Plantation or Snapper's Restaurant (used to be Jordan's Seafood) while here also! We offer lots of information about the area in our lobby that you may pick up at check in or during the week while you are here. There were so many problems with this property we didn't stay here and asked for our money back. We were accommodated with another unit that was very nice and we enjoyed our stay there.

The house was perfect for our stay. Spacious enough for 2 families with an unbeatable location on the beach! Generally clean but there were a few things that could use a refresh. Communion with our host was super easy and very responsive. We would stay again, thank you!!

We've never had a shorter walk to the beach from a beachfront cottage! Seriously, 11 steps down off the deck and then a very small dune path down to the sand (maybe another 20 steps down). Location along an uncrowded stretch of beach was another huge plus.
The cottage is an older no-frills unit, which suited us very well! `We had plenty of room for 4 people. If you maxed the occupancy, it might be a little tight, as the rooms are on the small side. Kitchen had everything except a toaster (which might have been in the unoccupied unit next door) and a big pot (so if you're doing crabs or spaghetti, you might want to BYO). I appreciated the glass top electric stove and the garbage disposal in the sink, both things we usually don't have at the beach.
Loved that we could bring our dog! The short hose at the base of the steps and another right outside the back door were very helpful in rinsing sand from canine and human feet. Sadly, we didn't catch fish during our stay (too rough), but the fish cleaning station worked great for rinsing and drying shells (best shelling ever, due to the rough conditions).
One item that will hopefully be fixed soon is that both windows in the living area have broken seals, meaning they were fogged with condensation on the lower 1/3 to 1/2 of the windowpanes. If you're going to be spending much time inside, you might want to check to see if this has been addressed. But the view from the deck was perfect!

Well stocked kitchen, wonderful deck with a short staircase to the beautiful emerald isle beach! Tight fit in the bedrooms, but the family (the kids are mostly in their mid-20s) was thrilled to be all together at the beach again and had a great time

Quiet winter retreat
Thank you for the clean and convenient accommodations! We had a quiet relaxing weekend and enjoyed watching dolphins from the deck! Easy check in and check out. Good kitchen supplies and cable TV. Thank you!

After Christmas Family Vacation
We had a wonderful experience! The house was in a great location with a beautiful view. The house was clean and perfect for our family. We couldn't have asked for better weather! I would highly recommend this house and hope to visit again soon!

No Frills
Loved our week in Emerald Isle. Being right on the beach is the best way to vacation with small children. House is cozy and clean. Totally no frills, no bells or whistles, which is perfect when vacationing with small kids.

Great getaway
Loved the location, was exactly what we were looking for. Access to the beach was perfection. The kitchen was updated. The rest of the rooms are in need of updating and the mattresses were somewhat uncomfortable. I understand the owner is in the process of updating this property. It was clean and met our needs. I would rent this property again.

Our visit was very enjoyable. The house was very clean and everything worked. There was enough room for everyone and the view was wonderful! We were just far enough away from the more crowded beaches to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.

Great Beach Location/
Great Beach front location. House served us well for 8 people. Plenty of beach chairs, grills, and beach toys and games on the property for us to use. The deck was well set up for our dogs.

Nice stay :)
We were looking for a simple and lower cost rental for our week stay in Emerald Isle—and this was it! The property manager Steven was very helpful and kind.
The only problem was the clothing washer had a lot of mold in it. We didn’t notice until halfway in our stay, so I mentioned it upon checkout and they said they would make sure they took care of it.

Nice stay
property was clean. trouble getting tv's to work - not that tv was all that important being on the beach - but if you wanted to watch any tv it was a task. the chairs on the deck, most were broken - they really need to be replaced or fixed. overall everyone had a nice stay.
