About this apartment rental
The Tide Pool is a ground-level condo, gas fireplace, recliner & couch in front room, king bed, with an ocean balcony, and fully-stocked kitchen.
The Tide Pool is one of ten condos in our building. Cuddle up to the fireplace, or step out onto the ocean balcony, and enjoy the amazing sight and sound of the mighty Pacific!
Sleeps 2-4 people; it has a queen bed in the bedroom, and a double sleeper sofa in the front room with all the linens to make into a double bed. The affordable price makes this ocean view condo a treasure! Please remember that sofa beds are most comfortable for children!
Our smart TV gives you even more entertainment options.
This ground-level condo is equipped with basic spices (salt, pepper, garlic salt, lemon pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning) plus oil and oil spray. We also have a drip coffee maker with filters, and an adequate array of cooking pans, pots, bowls, casserole dishes, and utensils. If something you need is missing, please call or email. Due to odors that stay around a long time, no cooking fresh seafood in the condo, please.
No smoking in condo or on balcony. No pets or animals allowed.
Our Cancellation Policy is Relaxed and allows 100% rent refund up until 14 days prior to your stay. FYI, if you find it necessary to cancel at any point between booking or 14 days prior, we must charge a small 5% processing fee to cover our expenses.
One block away from Highway 101, easy walking to restaurants, souvenir shops, and a grocery store.
Beach access is via 50 gentle stairs (with two handrails) or a paved ramp to drive onto the beach! In fact, during April - Sept, many people like to park their cars on the beach (right below the condo) when the tide is out! But twice a day, the tide rolls in, and clears everybody out!!!
No pets allowed. Please do not ask to bring a favorite animal. It just doesn't work to mix animals, and folks with allergies in our private condo. I cannot host guests with dogs, because I have other guests, who specifically ask me for "allergen-free" rooms. I do not have pet-friendly rooms.
Parking in a beach town is challenging but manageable. We have 11 off-street parking spaces. Some will accommodate large vehicles, others will not. If you are driving a small vehicle, please be considerate and choose a small parking space. Please be aware that a large 4-door truck may find parking in our lot challenging, and you might find it more comfortable to park on a side street.
At check-in, we issue one parking permit for our lot, and vehicles without permits will be subject to towing.
Extra vehicles can find parking on the side streets of 15th and 14th Streets. Please be advised, that Lincoln City writes tickets if vehicles park in their lot across the street between 1-5 a.m.
Bring your own BBQ to enjoy at the beach, or bring some newspaper and kindling to light a campfire on the beach! (The driftwood is often wet and hard to start without dry wood, but burns great once going!)
At the time of booking, you can view the Welcome Letter inside AirBnb's House Manual and get the code for the front door key lockbox, so you can let yourself into our condo anytime after 4 pm.
For your planning purposes: our rates are based on occupancy. Extra guests over the number of two cost only $8/person/night, and were quoted in your price if you included the total persons in your party. This makes our condo affordable for couples or families. If you arrive with additional guests who were undeclared, our extra person charge is $10/person/night.
We love the immediate beach access from The Tide Pool condo! Walk the beach, looking for glass floats among the cliffs and sea grass. Fly kites, or enjoy a beach campfire. Spin a doughnut in the sand with your vehicle...yes, they are permitted on this section of beach!
Only one off-street parking spot is included with this condo.
There are three public electric vehicle charging locations in Lincoln City.
Lincoln County Transit provides busing in the city.
Siletz Bay Airport at Gleneden provides Flight Transportation.

My wife and I just needed a place where we alone could spend a few nights at the beach.Your place looked nice from the pictures online.Although very seldom do they look the same. When my wife and I opened the door of the room and walked into the room,we were really pleased with the arengement. It was like the pictures online,The view of the ocean and the rocks was breathtaking,And the walk to the beach was easy and only took less than 5 min.We hope to stay may more times at this location....The only problem we had was the people who were right above us.There was a lot of foot traffic.Next time we will ask for a room on the second floor.....sincerely Mark and Cathy.

Beautiful home. Beautiful location! Hosts were excellent communicators! Everything was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was equip with necessities. Check-in and out process couldn't be easier.
My only (and very small complaints):The TV was small and older. It would have been great if there had been a deck of cards in the desk drawer.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The view was lovely, so even when the weather was inclement we could appreciate the ocean. The fireplace kept the room toasty enough that we could have the door to the balcony open to feel the breeze and enjoy the sounds of the surf. The bed was very comfortable!

Cozy and relaxing
My boyfriend and I stayed here a few days for our anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Property is quiet and they literally have everything you need for your stay (including hotel style coffee/hot cocoa mix and shampoo/conditioner). I was looking for the front desk to check in. There isn't a front desk, you enter a special code on the door of your unit. The property owner was responsive to any questions and very nice. We will definitely return.

The place is worn out.
The carpet was deplorable. The dresser wouldn’t open. The shower might work for people under 5’6”. The hair dry was closer to the shower than the mirror over the sink. The noise from the unit above woke us up. If there are plans to update the property, that will be good for someone else but that does not help our stay

Conveniently located!
This rental was so great! Right on the water & easy beach access. We watched as the clouds would disappear into beautiful blue skies & glorious sunsets. The rooms were comfortable & clean. Loved having a full kitchen & put the fireplace to use every night. We highly recommend Vista d'Mar & will stay there again!

It was an okay place
The condo was an okay place to stay. Pros: comfortable bed, soft sheets, great view and close proximity to very nice beach. Teresa was very responsive to emails. Everything worked well and the price was good for being right on the beach. We felt safe there. Cons: beach access not as advertised. We were unable to drive down to the beach due to the driveway being blocked by barriers. Not a huge issue but could be for someone with mobility issues. The condo was very noisy. We could hear people in adjacent condos talking, snoring, using the bathroom, and stomping around above us. The parking spots were very tight. Kitchen was outdated and could use a refresh. Overall it was okay. Will look for some place a bit quieter on our next beach vacation.

Excellent location
This is a decently maintained condo with convenient access to the beach. The building is next to a public ramp so you do see that traffic but it can be fun to watch. The windows are quality, so it's easy to shut that out if it gets annoying. We had no reason to. Cozy fireplace, fun decor, the major appliances were clean and in good order. The only weird thing is the "no seafood cooking" policy which I guess is understandable since there's some aging carpet in the units.

Sister Beach Weekend
Good time relaxing at the coast. Condo was pleasant but really needs something done in bathroom, very musty smell. Parking was very limited, if you left to venture out you were lucky to get a space when you got back . Bed comfy.

Love Lincoln City🐬
Well the condo wasn't quite what we expected . It was smaller than it seemed on line, the bed wasn't very comfortable , the coffee pot was broke , there's a blind missing , would have been nice to have a little more cleaning supplies . We went and bought a small vacuum , The view was amazing , beach access was good , every time the people up stairs moves u herd it . And the fireplace only worked one time . Carpets could be cleaned ,

Our family can't wait to come back!
We arrived later in the day, all the doors and windows were open to welcome us in. The beautiful sea breeze and sound of the ocean hitting the beach was so refreshing after our long drive. The Tide Pool was very comfortable and we loved being able to walk out on the balcony and watch the activity on the beach. We truly felt at home, everything we needed was right there. It was very clean and cozy, and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Wonderful relaxing stay
Wonderful stay with a great location.. Beach was busy right in front of the property due to a vehicle access area that parking in the beach was allowed but great access to tide pools and quiet sections to either side. Nice central spot for walking and shopping. Overall fantastic stay and we are already taking about another trip next year since it was so great and we had a fantastic time.

beautiful weekend by the sea
What a memorable weekend!
We had such an amazing stay at the Tide Pool. Our space was very clean and comfortable, and Mike was always a great help when needed. A few amenities could use a little updating, but we were just happy to have them at all! We got to make breakfast every morning and enjoyed waking up with the sun and sea....we saw whales and harbor seals from our deck! We loved having the fireplace which made it so cozy with the beautiful sound/breeze of the ocean. We highly recommend walks on the beach at night, and made a few day trips to surrounding towns...particularly recommend visiting The Devils Punchbowl at low tide and a hike to Casacade Head. And enjoyed local Yoga at the New Moon, eat amazing pizza at The Hearth and Table, and sushi at Sushi Hunter!
Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back soon as the Oregon Coast is certainly a special place. :)

Coast Get Away
We had a great view of the ocean. The Condo is older, but clean. There were a few things that we brought to their attention for repairs. If you can handle older, the price was good.
Enjoyed being able to walk places as the location & beach access were great!

Very Nice !!
Aloha
We live in Maui, HI. and we flew over to meet our new Grand Daughter, also too see family and friends and this lil place could not have been more perfect. Only 3 minutes from my daughters house and is centrally located in Lincoln City and very easy to find.
The weather was perfect, cold, gray and rainy !!
( Don't get much of that on Maui !!)
Very clean, quite and comfortable especially the bed.
Even though we see at the ocean everyday, it was nice to step out on the lanai, cold as it was, then step back inside with the warm fireplace going!!
I would definitely stay at The tide Pool each and every time we come back to Oregon to visit and I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Lincoln City that The Tide Pool is very comfortable and priced very nice.
Mahalo Nui Loa !
Until next time,
Mark & Keiko

Nice condo for two, in a great location
We enjoyed the coziness of the Tide Pool condo. It was very easy to get to and centrally located in Lincoln City. The ocean view was one of the best we have had in a condo.
The furnishing were comfortable and adequate. The dining table really only seats two people comfortably, but that is all we needed. There is no dishwasher, but there was adequate counter space to use the dish drainer and just hand wash our dishes. The fireplace was nice and provided lots of heat - great for winter time at the beach.
This condo is an excellent value for the money. Our only regret was not spending more time on our trip.

Great view!
This unit was very clean and comfortable. The view was to die for! The kitchen was well stocked to cook basic meals which was convenient. The bathroom was clean with a strong shower with plenty of hot water. The location was great for exploring the coast but was also close to shopping and a good variety of restaurants. We definitely plan on booking The Tide Pool again. Thanks for a great stay.
