My husband and I met our friend from the East Coast in New Orleans for a weekend of fun. The house has the perfect layout for a group of friends or families with kids, considering the house has two spacious rooms, two full bathrooms and and a nice open kitchen for hanging out together. The master suite was especially pretty and the bathroom was enormous with a great soaking tub and shower. Check in was super easy, which was a relief because we arrived late at night and we were really tired. Gradie was also helpful and prompt in answering any questions and even made recommendations for local events that were super fun. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place and perfect location. Our plans changed several times because of MSY cancelling flights (no power). Gradie was very understanding. Although a short trip for our adult children, they had a wonderful time. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay.

The property was even better than the great pictures in the listing. The trolley was a minutes walk away with easy access to all the city hotspots. I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Gradie and she is absolutely lovely. I would stay here again and again.

Gradie was a very gracious host. The property is very clean, new appliances, large rooms, and convenient secured car space in driveway. Great location 2 blocks from St. Charles. Everything we needed was in the home: hair dryer, soaps, washer/dryer, detergent, coffee, tea, etc. Quaint Fresh Market grocery store within walking distance. Gradie was available and returned calls promptly. I cannot wait to come again. Thank you Gradie for allowing us to use your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful time in NOLA over July 4th. This home is a beautiful oasis in a quiet neighborhood.
Gradie is a very sweet lady and immediately addressed an issue we had with the internet. She even stopped over yo ensure we had service.
Overall, we lived this property and it’s amenities! Highly recommend!!

This home is the perfect location and set up for 3-4 people. 1.5 blocks from the streetcar make it ideal for going uptown or down to the french quarter. The home is well equipped and has fantastic beds and showers. Gradie was very friendly and easy to deal with.

My friend and I stayed here for a week for a work getaway. As we were at the house the majority of the day working, I can say the neighborhood is very quiet and the house provided what we needed. It was a safe neighborhood and as two women traveling on our own, we both felt safe staying there at night. There was off-street parking (one spot) which was a huge plus for us. I drove in but didn't want to navigate the city so it was great to be able to leave our vehicle and just Uber anywhere. I've only ever stayed in the Quarter when visiting NOLA but I think I might change that and start staying in the Garden District.
Pros: house is clearly well taken care of and has been updated everywhere. I love the white and gray color scheme all throughout. The master bathroom was incredible and looks just like the pictures. The beds were comfortable, the house was less than two miles from a grocery store (Walmart), it was super easy to Uber to the Quarter or the Garden District to find restaurants. We went walking in the mornings and easily found places for breakfast or one of the local cemeteries to self-tour. Checking in was super easy and about halfway through our trip the owner even checked in on us via email just to make sure we were doing okay and see if we needed anything. I appreciate that kind of hospitality. The television worked as did all the kitchen appliances. We only cooked one night (game night) as we didn't feel like braving the streets. I know I mentioned this but seriously, the off-street parking is a huge pro so I'm saying it again.
If you're traveling with kids I'd recommend bringing some extras as there aren't the typical board games or things like that here for children. The place is minimal and beautiful.
Cons: Honestly, none. If I was picky and had to search for something I'm sure I could find it but the place was perfect for our needs, a safe area, and comfortable to stay in during the day and at night.
I hope to return here with my husband and some friends. We really did love this house!
