The rooms have everything one would need including plenty of electrical outlets, a very comfortable bed and plenty of room for clothes. The staff were super friendly and even allowed to to use the shower after I had checked out for no additional cost!
nothing

It was just next to the best bakery in town
unfortunately the kitchen is closed at certain times. we asked the hostel manager if he could allow us to have early breakfast (because we had to leave early), he confirmed, but in the morning it was still closed and we had to leave without breakfast and couldn’t get our food out from the kitchen. one stove did not work in the kitchen and the facilities in general were poor

We ended up extending our 2 nights booked for 2 weeks in total! Location is fab - in a quiet area, yet close walking distance to everything! Free drinking water is a bonus! Lovely view from our room and a nice little balcony to enjoy the views too! About a 15 minute walk from the ADO bus station! Wifi was working well until more people checked in to stay! Shower gel and shampoo are provided for free and the water is nice a hot all the time!
The toilet roll is given per room rather than keeping the shared toilet stocked so you're constantly having to find the owner to ask for more loo roll! The shared bathroom should be cleaned more since it's shared and it's really unhygienic since the bin is huge and was only changed twice, once it's completely full in our 2 week stay so it smelt absolutely terrible and didn't even want to brush our teeth inside the bathroom because of it! You're unable to check into your room earlier than 2pm, even though the rooms are vacant! Once more people stayed, trying to get in tbe bathroom for a shower was a mission! You have to pay an extra $30 pesos per pillow which I've never heard of before! The bathroom door lock should be changed, it's stiff and metal and literally wakes up everybody everytime somebody uses the bathroom! Kitchen facilities only open during certain times, so if you're an early bird and want to make your own coffee or have breakfast, you won't be able to before 8am (was unlocked around 8.25am some days so we were waiting to be able to make a coffee!).

Great central location. We enjoyed a beer on shared balcony with view on the city - the same applies for the kitchen window. We also appreciated the shared kitchen with purificated water.
Openind and closing the shared bathroom door makes noise, so at night, everytime someone used the toilet, it woke me up.

The hostal in itself was cute, nice balcony, felt safe and welcomed. Other couples to chat with.
The location was funny. No signs to indicate the hostal, we had to ask locals. The road in front is in construction so theres no road actually. The room wasnt insonorized, we could hear everything.

Large, friendly, cosy, heating in the room, super nice staff, good kitchen, great common room and rooftop
Not the place to party, other hostels are surely better for intense socialising

The showers were the hottest and best so far in Mexico and the bed was really comfortable!
basic decor, quiet, no one really around. This suited us but if you are looking for a sociable hostel vibe, this may not be the best place to stay
