“Ocean Creek Escape” is a custom-built Charleston-style home with a reverse floor plan offering spectacular panoramic views of the Ocean Creek golf course, lake, and marsh. We encourage you to read the reviews to see what guests like about the home.

The home is tastefully furnished and decorated with a "coastal" theme. The sofa and chairs will ensure that you’ll be comfortable as you gaze out the over-sided sliding glass doors or watch a movie on the 6-speaker surround-sound 55” HDTV. The large dining area can accommodate 8 and the kitchen is well stocked with all of the pots, pans, bowls, and appliances you’ll need. Convenient seating at a breakfast bar is available as well for enjoying cereal in the morning or a quick bite at lunch.
There is a King-sized bed in the primary bedroom and two queen-sized bedrooms located on the second floor that are all nicely furnished and have HDTVs. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo while the primary bedroom has a private bath with a large custom-tiled shower and two shower heads. The queen-bedded (with twin day bed also) bedroom on the 3rd floor (main living area) has an adjacent, large bathroom with shower conveniently located next to it. The laundry room is equipped with a sink and a large-capacity washer and dryer.
In order to access amenities (pools, golf courses, activities, restaurants, etc.) of the Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort, guests must both purchase Guest Cards ($55/pp) AND pay a resort amenity fee equal to 12.8% of the property's rental cost (excluding housekeeping fees, taxes, etc.). All individuals age 13 and older are required to have a Guest Card to enjoy resort facilities. While not mandatory, the vast majority of our guests do purchase card to enjoy access to everything the resort offers.
Weekly stays (Sat-Sat) are required in the Summer, 4-night minimum stay required all other seasons. Reservations must be confirmed (full payment and signed rental agreement) at least one week prior to arrival date.
Check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 10am.

Great stay at this property. Home was very clean, lots of chairs, a cooler, couple of bikes etc…are provided by the owner. Fridge / Freezer in the garage was convenient. Double car garage that is deep…ample parking for 4 midsize sedans inside.
Great location being situated very close to the Activity Center and Cabana Club pool. Golf course and playgrounds are short distance on the same road, and one left turn to head to the marina and restaurant.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable Fripp vacation during our stay at 168 Ocean Creek. Bob was attentive and responsive during the months and weeks leading up to the rental. Sue the property manager had it ready and clean for us exactly as described. We found it to be a well-stocked, clean, and relaxing property for our family vacation. We will definitely consider for future rentals.

The property was perfect for our family of six adults and three children. There was plenty of space with the two porch’s and the spacious open family room kitchen and dining area. The many items for the pool/ beach and outside shower was perfect. Golf was great! The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to use for our fresh dinners and the fish we were able to get at local seafood markets. Thanks so much!

The house had a nice view upstairs on the back porch. It’s a great gathering space. It’s a very large area; great for gaming, viewing, conversation and just relaxing.

This property was perfect for our family. 3 generations of island lovers stayed for a week of fun and relaxation. We enjoyed viewing the lovely setting from the living area and all 3 of the spacious porches, while watching birds, deer, and golfers. The Cabana Club pool was right around the corner. It's a fantastic place to view the ocean and inlet. We took our golf cart over to the beach every afternoon for some fun in the waves. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful home. Steps were a problem which I had not considered. I was battling knee problems and sciatica so ended up not being able to join my siblings in activities as I'd planned but they enjoyed every bit of the island and that made everything good for me.

HUGE garage space for parking multiple cars and golf cart. The kitchen was well equipped, even with mixer to make birthday cake, crockpot for pulled pork sandwiches, many pots, pans, dishes, flatware. The screened porch was amazing, as well as the upper open deck with gas grill. We took one trip into Beaufort for golf cart tour of historic homes and scenic spots. Old oak trees were gorgeous. The rest of the time was spent at this beautiful home enjoying family time and riding the golf cart we had arranged to have delivered to the home prior to arrival. The serene beaches were vacant except for us.

We had a great time at Fripp. The house sits on the golf course with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed many evening and mornings watching the birds and the alligator from the second story porch. The close proximity to the cabana club was great for us as we had a toddler and an infant. This was our first time staying at Fripp and we will be back!! Bob was a very responsive and helpful host.

For the past 40 plus years my family and now extened family have spent a week together each year on Fripp Island. We have watched the Island grow as our family has grown but we still enjoy the quiet setting with room to spread out on the beach and the overall feel of the island. Each of the last 10 year we have rented different houses and this year our family has said let's rent this one again. A little different with a top floor kitchen and living area, but once you get use to the layout the benefits are many and the facilities were excellent for our family - Did well for toddlers naps and babies sleeping near by and also for entertaining when the larger family group joined in. Well pointed kitchen and grill are a plus with few restaurants on the island and with us preferring to cook.

We have been staying at Fripp for over 15 years. This house has been the best by far. Communication with Bob was fantastic and he made sure any issue we had was taken care of immediately. Above and beyond anything I have experience. You will need to get a golf cart if you're going to the beach, but the view from the back is gorgeous and the proximity to the pool is wonderful. Highly recommend!!

We have three children under four and there were a good number of small details that we appreciated specifically for children (blackout cellular shades in bedrooms. High chair, pack and play, kids beach toys. Outlet covers. Etc) that we really appreciated.

What a wonderful place to stay on Fripp Island!! The house is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed, including beach gear, and has a spectacular view of the lagoon and golf course. We were a party of two couples who travel together regularly. We have rented many beach houses but Ocean Creek is, by far, the best ever. The owners provided great communication including island details. We loved our first trip to Fripp Island and are planning another trip in the spring and look forward to enjoying the Ocean Creek home again. Highly recommend!

Ocean Creek Escape – Perfect in every way. We celebrated our 40th anniversary and a couple of major birthdays by inviting our family, total of 8 adults, to Ocean Creek Escape on Fripp Island. Driving and flying in from three different western states, it was a bit of a gamble, but did we ever hit the jackpot! Precious family memories will be with us for years to come. Our adult “kids” have thanked us multiple times for the “fantastic” and “unforgettable” family time. The key to the success was absolutely this beautiful home and its owners, Bob and Carol. Communication from beginning to end was outstanding – always prompt, clear and detailed. Suggestions for travel arrangements, activities, information about the house and general area were readily supplied. Bob went above and beyond on several occasions to help make our trip a success. After our arrival, he, as well as the property manager, checked in multiple times making sure all was in order. As far as the home itself, plenty of comfortable room for everyone to be together or to go off for a little privacy. Three amazing porches with wildlife viewing opportunities – deer, alligators and birds galore. A kitchen that is better stocked than my own. A deep garage with beach equipment, games and 4 bikes. Great location with the Cabana Club and Pools plus Activity Center and a park just around the corner. Beach access is an easy bike/golf cart ride away. We have amazing memories from our stay at Ocean Creek Escape. We are deeply grateful to Bob and Carol for opening up their home to us. Thank you.

Perfect for our family!
We've been coming to Fripp since 2014 and this is, by far, the best home that we've stayed in. Everything was as listed or better. Perfectly clean...comfy beds....great location....amazing assortment of beach chairs, bikes, toys. Even a wagon. we could have brought a lot less with us. When you read that the kitchen is well stocked with every utensil that you could need... It is. There was even a biscuit cutter which made my morning when we had a huge breakfast and I made the homemade biscuits :) Especially nice to have all the storage containers for leftovers. This is the first year that we made the decision to stay put on the island and cook every meal so that we'd not lose any precious beach/family time. The spectacular home, great weather, and 3 generations together for a week at our favorite place made this the best family vacation ever!! I have never dealt with owners as nice and responsive as Bob and Carol. Every question was promptly answered. You will not find another home more perfect or better hosts. Thank you Bob and Carol for opening your home to guests. We will definitely be booking with you again next year.

Lovely Time!
Really enjoyed our stay! Easy process checking in and out! Loved the home and layout. Plenty of space for everyone. It was perfect for our group of 7. Everyone had a place to sleep. We loved the screened in deck on the back. Nice place to relax. The house was clean and kitchen was well stocked with cookware, etc. We appreciated the four bikes to explore the island with! We had a wonderful time and hope to come back some day and stay at this house again! Hosts were easy to communicate with! Thank you!

This was our first time to Fripp Island but it won't be the last! A beautiful house in a fantastic tropical getaway! Nicely appointment home with a great screen porch on first level; great views of the golf course and close by amenities. Golf cart was a huge hit with 2 licensed teen drivers - we rented separately -- would be great if this was included in rental. Comfy beds, great shower in master and well appointed kitchen. Bob checked in a few times to ensure our stay was wonderful. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great property conveniently located for family fun. The house was beautifully equipped-both indoors and for outdoor activities. I loved the child-friendly kitchen plates, bowls, silverware, and the games available in the basement for rainy or cold days. Fantastic home for our family!
Bob and Carol’s home was in a great location on the island and the description/photos matched the home exactly. We stayed with our 4 children and had a blast exploring the Island. The bedrooms were spacious and the living areas had awesome views as well. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the deck. Both Bob and their property manager were very responsive and quickly available when we needed them for minor questions, etc. This was our first “big” family vacation experience and our first time renting a home but we were so pleased with the attention to detail that this home had (labeled light switches, everything stocked for grilling, cooking, utensils, etc). Oh, and the beach chairs, beach toys that were provided were so helpful so we didn’t have to lug our own in an already full vehicle. 😀We couldn’t have been happier with the memories we built as a family of 6.

The owners have thought of everything with their beautiful home. The furniture is stylish and extremely comfortable, the beds provide a wonderful night’s sleep and the outdoor furniture is perfect for enjoying the many extraordinary views that this beach house offers. The owners were a great communicators and answered all questions timely as well as provided suggestions that helped enhance our trip.

We had a great time at Ocean Creek Escape and certainly will consider it again when we come back to Fripp Island next year. The house was very well maintained, the kitchen well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/cookie sheets/etc., the bathrooms all supplied with quality soap dispensers, shampoo, soap, etc., a large and efficient barbeque, and a full array of beach chairs, bocce balls, nearly new beach cruisers, and the like for days at the beach. This house was perfect for our family. We had seven adults and a two year old. The house has a reverse floor plan with the family room and kitchen area upstairs along with a large porch. This provides a great view over the golf course and over the marsh. With the open floor plan everyone had plenty of room to move around in. The bedrooms and baths were nice. Under the house provides plenty of space to park cars, golf carts, and keep your beach paraphernalia. The owners were great to rent from. Their communications from the time we signed the rental agreement until our stay ended were informative and helped in sure our stay was enjoyable. They provide small touches that make you feel like your at a nice hotel. With a two year old, the house's location was ideal. It is close to the Cabana Club kids pools and also the activity center where he could see the various reptiles, turtles, and alligators. Also, it is only a five minute golf cart ride to the nearest beach access. We will definitely rent this house again.
