It was very rustic.
Not much to say, it was a place to sleep. We arrived and it was rainy and the whole cabin smelled very musty and damp. We went out and got an air freshener and a candle to try to help. No microwave, no toaster. It does advertise no TV which we brought one with us and a Wi-Fi hotspot. But we did end up leaving a day early because we just missed some of the comforts of home. And it could use a good cleaning (cobwebs and dusty) and maybe a little fixing up.

We loved everything about this unique cabin and enjoyed meeting the owner, Jonathan. The cabin was in a perfect place where our niece's wedding venue was in Limestone and Johnson City where our family was staying. Everything we needed was provided for our stay. We hope to come back and see more of the surrounding cities. Cindy and Bill

Historic rustic cabin
Johnathan, was a very gracious host. He had a nice fire going for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you!

A great stay, enjoyed! Also great location! Make sure and walk across the street to the path and view the stars at night!

Quiet and peaceful
This historic cabin has been updated with power and plumbing but retains its charm. It was a heatwave during our stay so no AC was a drag but there are fans that help.

So cozy
Built in the 1700’s with some modern updates, was the coolest cabin. My favorite part was the huge fireplaces. Johnathon was a great host and very kind! I would recommend this place for everyone!!! I want to go back to see the different seasons! Loved it!

Beautiful historic property. Porch area in the front could of been cleaner. Cobwebs and dirty tables. Very hot in upstairs bedrooms. Really need more fans or a/c. Did not have toaster or microwave. Broiler in oven did not work. Water pressure was poor.

Awesome
My family thought this was the coolest place. We definitely hope to come back and stay longer to explore the area.
4.7
The property was primitive. We had try to heat the house with one fireplace and was very cold in the house. Safety was another big issue. No rails on stairs to the upstairs and no rails on steps on the front porch. The lighting was really bad on the stairs and my dad fell on last couple of steps which had no rails to hold on to. I wouldn’t recommend this one for anyone.

Awesome Getaway
Awesome to get away from the noise and just sit by a fireplace with good friends and family. Cabin was unique and fun in a great location. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous rustic cabin
Fabulous rustic cabin. Definitely was as advertised. Jonathan was there to great us. Quiet scenic area. My only suggestion is to have a larger coffee pot and a few more pots and pans. Other then that a great few days.

A very unique house.
We enjoyed our stay at the 1750’s home. It provides a very unique opportunity to experience the past, while being very close to the present. We enjoyed our stay.

Centuries ago but near modern life
This is an authentic experience we really enjoyed. Way back in time but 5 minutes to Starbucks! Having no internet and TV was a surprisingly nice break.

We had great family time. Enjoyed history of cabin built 1757, before we were a country.
Couldn’t have got in easier. A great experience for the grandkids. Felt very safe. Would highly recommend for a get away into the past with a flare of today modern conveniences.

This was a great experience. Did everything online and just showed up and the house was open and ready to move right in and relax. I recommend this to everyone

Lovely Cabin
I grew up in Bristol TN, and often visited my grandparents and aunt and uncle and family in Greeneville. My husband, children and I came back to Greeneville to visit family this past week. We enjoyed the cabin in the woods and listening to the rain on the roof at night. My grandmother lived close to Tusculum University and this is right down the street from where she lived. My husband was especially happy to wake up in a 200 yr old cabin. 😊 we arrived very late at night after a road trip and Jonathan accommodated our access to the home. Our children were very tired and grumpy so it was so nice to have privacy to get settled. The next day they found some civil war relics around in the woods. It was a fun place to stay!

Perfect little cabin
We stayed at Eden’s Cabin for the second time and it did not disappoint. Perfect for our family. Would be nice if there was a little microwave to warm up my coffee and a few towels so we didn’t need to think about bringing any along but other than that we had everything we needed! Great place to stay in Tusculum!

Edens Street Cabin
The cabin was super fun to stay in! It was beautiful and rustic and staying in a piece of history was really amazing. We’d definitely go back!

Quaint and cozy!
We stayed in Edens Historic Cabin while visiting our son at Tusculum University. It was incredibly convenient to the school! Walking distance yet felt like we were tucked away in a mountain cabin far from the hustle and bustle of it all. When we arrived Jonathan greeted us by a warm blazing fire in both fireplaces that kept us warm and cozy all night long! The cottage is a delightful step back in time when things were much simpler! We loved the historic log and mortar built house that we came to find out was built by Jonanthan’s grandfather long ago. The home was super clean and the rooms were super cozy with its vintage decor. Very spacious and room for us all to gather around the warmth of the fireplace and talk for hours. We enjoyed playing board games and staying up late listening to the crackling of the fire. The beds were comfortable and the flannel sheets were soft and perfect to crawl into for a great night’s sleep. I would recommend this little cottage to anyone who would enjoy getting away for some time together to a quiet little place away from it all yet convenient to the town of Tusculum.

Authentic, no frills cabin, close to campus
The cabin is an authentic 200 year old cabin. It offers simple accommodations ( no wifi, hot tub, entertainment center here!). There is a walking and biking trail across the street. The trail will take you to Tusculum University. Jonathan, the owner, is super nice.
