HOUSE FEATURES:
Three bedroom beach front with ocean views, like new home. This is the perfect vacation rental, great for families or couples. The interior is spacious with an open concept living area. There's plenty of outdoor space with great views! Listen to the waves crash in as you fall asleep or take a nap on one the wrap around porch. Watch the sun set over the west end from the porch or as you walk along the white sandy beach.
This is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house on Dauphin Island which sleeps 8. Enjoy the quiet southern lifestyle of one of the last Gulf islands to remain unaffected by commercial tourism.

Plenty of comfortable furnishings and a table that will seat the whole group! Large table that seats 8 plus 3 additional stools at the kitchen bar. Perfect for lunch or snack after time out on the sand.
The house is fully furnished with bedroom TV's and a large TV in the living area. Wi-fi is available.
Outside is a porch that wraps to the east, south amd west. Ample space offering both covered and uncovered options for lounging. Views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as views of the Mississippi Sound. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as you listen to the waves roll in or watch the sun set in the west over the Island. The back porch offers full sun or shade as it is partially covered.
Only have to cross white sand from the porch to the Gulf of Mexico. No roads…with views of the Gulf. This means no putting on shoes or loading the car to head to the beach…it’s all right there!!!
The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, blender, coffee maker, etc… and has a four burner stove with electric oven. A double sink, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer w/ icemaker are also featured.
The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed! The master bath features a large soaker tub, a walk-in shower and double sinks. The jack-and-jill style bath in between the other 2 bedrooms also features double sinks and a tub/shower combo.
ISLAND INFORMATION:
Dauphin Island is very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery & several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. Island is accessible by bridge. Gulf Shores & Fort Morgan are only a few miles away & are accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip).
For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST RELAX!
ADVANCE RENT: ONE-HALF of rental rate is due at booking. ONE-HALF of rental rate is required 45 days prior to check in. There is a 30 day cancellation policy on all rentals.
We accept: personal checks and credit cards (via VRBO, PayPal and Venmo).
ALL RESERVATIONS WILL BE CHARGED A CLEANING FEE ($150).
DEPOSITS
A $500 DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT is required for all rentals and is due with the second half of your rent 45 days prior to arrival. It is fully refundable if conditions are met. Deposits are returned to you through your method of original payment approximately 7 days after check out.

* Dogs must be under a pest management system for fleas and ticks.
* Do not allow your dog onto the furniture. Please use the extra throws to cover our white slipcovered furniture to keep it pet hair and stain free.
* Please ensure that your dog does not chew on the furniture or other items.
* Please, please, please bring a pooper scooper. Pick up after your dog. Children like to walk and play in the sand.
* Dauphin Island has a leash law. Dogs must either be on a leash or be under voice command at all times.

Our stay here was wonderful! The house was as listed and had wonderful ocean views. Literally steps from the ocean. Plenty of kitchen appliances, toiletries, blankets, etc.This was perfect for us and our kids. We will definitely be back to this location!

Beautiful remolded home sitting right on the private beach which is right outside the front door, the home is lovely and has everything you need, I will recommend this beach house to anyone wanting some private family time.easy checking in right there on the property so you don’t have any office to check into for the keys.they are quick to respond to you for any reason .Last note I will vacation here again. This house was well kept and had all the kitchen items needed for us to make meals. The sunsets are beautiful from the porch. The host was very responsive. Worth mentioning that as of June, the beach shown in listing is an active construction site, with several trucks and piles of boards with rusty nails all over. We found a spot 200 yards down the beach. That was a big disappointment but we understand it's outside of the host's control and temporary.

House had all amenities listed but hot tub -- one site said it had hot tab and outdoor shower and another did not have it listed so a little confusing -- but we enjoyed the house and kitchen was great! Sitting out on deck was wonderful. Would recommend and return

House was very clean. Nicely decorated & updated furnishings. Kitchen had everything you need with regular and Kuerig coffee pots. We loved the huge porch. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There is a large amount of toys for kids to use at the beach. There is also plenty of beach chairs to take to the water. Very few people at the beach & we saw dolfins every morning. Pet friendly home and beach. Great location and nice home. We will return soon!

Wonderful place to stay! Plenty of room for our family of 6 and two of their friends. Everything was easy, especially having the beach only steps from the house. Water and weather was perfect. Tons of beach toys and chairs. Very comfortable beds. Lovely decorating. Wi-Fi on the island was spotty, but who cares when the beach is calling! It was enough to get a little necessary work done and watch movies. Such good memories were made. This was our first time on Dauphin. Grew up going to Sanibel, but due to last year’s storm, our island was not habitable this summer. We would definitely consider Dauphin Island again! Only not so great things were some of the dishes weren’t super clean and on some days folks parked their cars on our road and used our beach access, but that’s not the owners’ fault!

We had a great time. The only problem was the dryer. It did not work well. It took 2 hrs to dry a load of towels. We washed what we could. I think the dryer needs to be replaced it’s a little old.

This home was really beautiful and well equipped. The views and being right there on the beach was fantastic. Even though it was probably the coldest it has been at Dauphin Islancd in a while we still had a wonderful time. Kristen the owner was wonderful. Ww will be returning in 2023. Loved it!!

Only draw back that we had was paying a cleaning fee but asked to do the laundry(wash, dry & put away towels). Dishes washed and put away not in dishwasher where you know they are clean. The process of renting and getting in was very simple. The home was comfortable for a beach house with lots of amenities. There is a Keurig coffee maker now besides the drip coffee pot if you want to bring K cups. The park at the west end of the road provides access to the bay side which is calmer if wind is from the south. On weekends there is someone there collecting admission ($10 a carload) but not on weekdays. Fort Morgan is definitely worth the trip by ferry for history buffs.

This property is beautiful and well equipped for small and large groups. There is beautiful white sand and waves as far as the eye can see. The island didn’t have an abundance of options for food (it after all is an island) but each meal we had was fresh and the locals were extremely friendly. Great location and wonderful communication from the property manager. We would definitely return!

This house is everything it shows that it is, the weather could have been better, but for February we'll take it, especially when we came home to snow and ice. This house is amazing, clean and everything you'd hope for, we even saw dolphins swimming past the beach...... no one wants to leave here when it's time to go!

We’ve stayed on Dauphin Island a few times but this was the best trip here ever. This house was beautiful. All of the updates so pleasing for a beach stay. The kitchen is stocked so nicely, my 2 girls got up and made us an anniversary waffle breakfast and I was shocked bc we didn’t bring a waffle iron. Lol. All of the windows ALMOST make you feel like you don’t need to leave the house to enjoy the beach.! The beds were comfortable and the wrap around deck was nice for lounging. You’re so close to the water though, that if you walk out of the house you will definitely walk on down to the water. Such a pleasant home and lovely anniversary trip. I posted a video compilation of our stay on the Island on Instagram and so many people asked where we were but as many also asked about our lodgings! We will be back!

Super nice house
Family vacation with all adults. It was a great property with lots of space for us all (6). My only suggestion would be to put gates on the deck. My dog came with us and I didn't leave her out on the deck alone just in case. The kitchen was great and had everything I needed for full meals. The beds were super comfy and there were lots of towels. Would come back again.
