Enjoy a quiet beach getaway at Beachside Blessing on Dauphin Island. Visit our 3 bedroom, 3-bath classic beach house on the Gulf side of Dauphin Island's west end. Relax and enjoy the gulf breeze from the porch, enjoy a cold drink on the covered outdoor eating area or take a short walk to the beach to soak up the sun.

Beachside Blessing includes two bedrooms with king-sized beds and one bedroom with two queen-sized beds. It's the perfect setup for two families with children! The 3 bathrooms include a garden tub and two walk-in showers.

The living room and all 3 bedrooms have flatscreen TV’s. There is cable television and streaming in the living room. Two of the bedrooms have smart tv’s for streaming and one bedroom has cable. The home also has free high speed internet.

Located adjacent to the walking/biking trail and centrally located, Beachside Blessing provides you with easy access to all that Dauphin Island has to offer. Don’t miss visiting historic Fort Gains and the Audubon Bird Sanctuary where you move through maritime forest, marsh and dune habitat. The Island is also home to the Alabama Aquarium and Sea Lab that explores the animal, plant and marine life of coastal Alabama. Plan ahead and rent a boat or kayak, charter a fishing trip or simply lay on the beach and watch the ghost crabs. What more can you possibly need.

Very nice house and neighborhood. Host was nice. Our only complaint was we thought that the house was on the beach where you could sit on the porch and see the ocean. You couldn’t see the beach from the house but it was just a couple minutes walk.

This was a lovely home with just a short walk to the water. Far enough from the water out 7and 8 year olds wouldn't go by themselves but close enough for the adults. We had an awesome vacation. Thank you so much.

We had an amazing time! This house was a short walk right onto the beach. The house was a beautiful perfect place to stay. The rooms had their own bathrooms and it made the stay so much easier with how many people we had. The shower outside to rinse the sand off was the perfect touch! We will most definitely stay here again.

The property was well maintained and well stocked in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable, usually an issue for me in most rentals. Quick walk to the beach, maybe 4 houses down. Just a few minutes drive to good eats and fun activities. Will definitely stay here again!

This house was everything we wanted for this vacation. Plenty of room, close to the beach, quiet neighbors and pet-friendly. The house was amazingly clean, bright and roomy. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels and linens. We had a couple questions before we booked, and then a couple right before our stay, and they were quick to respond. No trouble checking in or out. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Dauphin Island.

The description of property said you could see the gulf from the deck… well, there was a very small area that was visible, but there were also six houses between the water and our house. Not exactly what I would consider ocean front property. Location is the number one reason why we chose the property we did, and this was very misleading. Second complaint was a cleaning fee assessed, but then we were expected to remove bedding, take trash out, start the dishwasher and start a load of towels prior to check out…. all with a 6 hour time frame from check out to check in time For next guest, which I would think would be plenty of time to do the said tasks. I don’t go on vacation, and expect to do these tasks, especially when I’m charged a cleaning fee. Thirdly, the front bathroom stool was constantly “running”. We noticed this day one, so I would have expected the people cleaning to have experienced this as well. There was also a very pungent smell from the front bathroom. We just closed the door and shared the other shower in the house. Not sure what was causing the smell, but it was not pleasant.

We booked this house for 5 days after a stay in Destin, we had never been to Dauphin Island before. It has a small coastal town appeal, the trails at the Audubon bird sanctuary were cool, lots of people riding bikes in the area. Pirates pizza had the best pizza on the island, just be sure to check hours of operation for everything beforehand. Bring groceries with you if you plan to cook. The house was laid out very well, super clean, had everything you could need for your stay, the porch was my favorite place to sit with coffee every morning, it was so peaceful and you can watch the birds playing. And we would walk to the beach every afternoon and watch people fish from the beach and wait for the sunset. Perfect house if you want a small town beachy feel and need a break from your usual routine.

The place was extremely clean!! We always bring our own supplies (sheets, laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc..) but the house was VERY well stocked!!! The kitchen had everything you need to cook a big meal. Lots of extra towels and linens if needed. The location was great and a super short walk to the beach! It was a great price and we were very pleased with the overall experience! We'll definitely try to book this place again next time. We loved it!!

Great property, close to the beach. House was fully stocked with towels and everything you need. Would stay here again. I recommend hitting a grocery store before coming to the island. Only a small store on the main road which has limited items. Not many restaurants either. Good place to unwind. The mattress in the master bedroom was very soft, which is my only complaint about this. The homeowners were very responsive.

Our family enjoyed this rental . Very clean with everything we needed. We like to cook and there was not one thing missing from the kitchen. The porch was a great gathering spot with plenty of seating. It was nice to have a gated porch for our dog. The beach was a short walk with perfect sunsets. We definitely are planning on a return visit as soon as possible. You won’t be disappointed if you rent this house.

This is our third stay at Beachside Blessings and we have consistently enjoyed our stays each time. The house is well stocked and always clean. Beds are comfy! Only complaint would be in the hall bathroom there needs to be a place to put your shampoo, conditioner, & soap rather than on the floor of the shower. In the bathroom with tub, there needs to be a hook or rod for you to place a towel and hand towel. Other than this, we continue to enjoy this home away from home!!
