Our family visited VA beach for the National Club field hockey championship and decided to stay a few extra days as we had never been before. The house is perfect, located on a quiet street with all the comforts of home, just don’t forget your beach and bath towels! There is a fully stocked kitchen with all the utensils you could need. The backyard, while small, is private and charming with seating for more than 10. There is a gazebo and grill for a backyard BBQ. The beach is about a 10 minute walk or a short drive. Parking is plentiful and cheap. There is lots to do from the Aquarium, dolphin or whale boat excursions (depending on the season), fishing, water park, pickle ball, beach volleyball, boardwalk with all the tourist traps, plenty of restaurants with delicious seafood. We are so glad we stayed here and should we ever come back to VA beach, will be sure to stay again. Thanks Kent’s!

We absolutley loved staying at this house. The location was great - so many things within a very short walking or driving distance. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable to stay in on the rainy days. Only "issue" was the 'no towels' description is a literal no towels - not even hand towels to use to dry your hands in the bathrooms. Not a huge issue, just a detail we didn't think about when we read 'no towels'. If we come back to VA, would definitely stay again.

Came to town, my daughter and myself, for the National Indoor Field Hockey Festival. As a teenager, it's nice for her to have her own space when traveling with just her father. This home had everything we were looking for. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms, spaces to relax, and a full kitchen to save $$ on eating out. We stayed for 4 nights and were very happy. Dead end street meant minimal traffic noise and people walking by. Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely consider it again next year if we come back.

We had a great stay at this house, located conveniently to both the main beach/boardwalk area and Rudee's Inlet. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a getaway with our family. We loved having the private backyard (complete with gazebo, tables, and grill), and especially enjoyed walking to the restaurants down at Rudee's Inlet. Highly recommend this location and host.

This home is great!! One of the reasons we chose it was because of the beautiful, private backyard with a grill. We spent a lot of time in the evenings enjoying time with family there. We didn't have time to do everything we wanted to fit in, but we did go to Rudee's Restaurant, which was great!! We also enjoyed Norfolk Botanical Gardens very much!! I would definitely stay again!!

Walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. Very clean and all instructions were very clear. Unfortunately I arrived late after a 10.5 hour drive and could not focus on the booklets for the wifi code. Debbie was very prompt in answering my inquiries.

My Dad, Daughter and I were attending my Nieces wedding. We enjoyed the house it was very clean. Great location enjoyed seeing the ducks every morning. The house was great, just wish the weather would have be better to enjoy the backyard.

The house was great. Plenty of room for sitting to talk or sitting at the table for dinner. Each bedroom had a TV which is nice if someone wants to watch a different show. We walked to the beach boardwalk several times. It is very close and made for a nice walk in the sun. There are also restaurants that you can walk to. We really liked the Ice House. We would stay here again if it is available.

The house worked very well for our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, which was very helpful. The front living room/dining room was very pleasant and where we spent most of our down time. There is a small desk in the back family room which was very convenient for "working from home" which one person in our group had to do for a couple of days. It was not good weather for taking advantage of the nice backyard and patio, but I think it is a great space for warmer weather. The location was great. Very quiet dead end street but with easy access to stores, restaurants the beach. We took several sunrise walks "around the block" -- hitting the beach in time to see the sun rise and the dolphins frolic. The one thing that I think could be improved is the bedding situation. Each bed is equipped with one thin, green blanket and the pillows are not particularly comfortable. It's also important to know that you must bring your own towels (or make arrangements to rent them). This is well described in the listing. All in all it was a great spot for our family.

We walked or biked to most places - Zekes, Gringos, Commune, Bunker Brewpub for food. Son hit the surf for a morning. Second time staying here. House was clean and host was responsive. Nice size bedrooms. No problems with anything. Didn’t cook so minimal use of kitchen. Visiting family so didn’t do much tourist stuff. Always enjoy being so close to the beach and boardwalk. Only kitchen towels - not bathroom- provided, which is only downside. Had a wonderful stay.

This property was within walking distance for restaurants and attractions. It was fully furnished and kept clean. Decorated nicely with a cute backyard. Deb was wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. My teens were happy they didn’t have to share a room. It had plenty of space to spread out. The beds, especially the master, were very comfortable. It was clean and welcoming. The location was just what we were looking for. My early bird husband and daughter were able to walk to several different places for coffee/breakfast every morning. The resort area beach is only a few blocks and short walk away. That’s not really our style, but we found several beach areas, both ocean and bay sides that we loved, all within a 25 minute drive. I recommend visiting The Narrows. Very secluded, felt like a lake, and was gorgeous. Chics Beach also for bay (felt like the ocean). Croatan was 7 minutes away, quieter and we could watch the surfers. Sandbridge is a bit further but beautiful and felt like we were visiting Outer Banks. Evenings were spent walking around town, Altlantic Ave, and Vibe district. My daughter loved feeding the baby ducks in front of the house all week. We loved the house and it’s location. It would be easy to park your car and leave it all week. Hope to go back again!

Clean and comfortable house, well-stocked kitchen, close to everything. We love it. The only thing that surprises us us the fighter jets flying near by. They can be loud. This doesn't bother us. But if you are sensitive to noise, then this may be an issue... Overall, we like this place vary much!

A championship weekend

A championship weekend

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We came into town for our daughters participation in the Jr. Olympics. We decided having a rental home would be better than a hotel and boy we were right! Everything we needed was right at our fingertips and the sports venue was just around the corner. It’s not a modern home, but it was clean and cozy. Every dish and appliance imaginable was available. We also appreciated all of the instructional notes around the house. I’m sure it’s a different atmosphere during beach season, but the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. There’s a pond across from the house that’s home to ducks and geese; they were a riot. I thank the hosts for having us. We will definitely return next year.

This is a beautiful and very clean home in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the beach! It’s a great location for going on a morning run to the boardwalk! It truly feels like a home away from home! Debbie is excellent to work with, quick to respond, and provides detailed information about things to enjoy in the area! We would definitely stay here again!

The home was perfect for our stay. It is located in a quiet neighborhood but close to so many things. The beds were comfortable and the house offered so many comforts of home. We had clear communication from the reservation process through checking in. We had no issues during our stay. Our stay at Debbie’s property was wonderful! The house was extremely clean and we loved that it was about a 9 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of room for our family of 4 to enjoy our time there! Debbie was extremely quick with communication and the house expectations were easy to understand and follow. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we’re in the Virginia Beach area!
