About this apartment rental
Clean, private, and peaceful! We have always maintained a VERY high level of cleanliness. The location cannot be better with two off-street parking spaces and a short walk to the Plaza.
A quiet, safe and historic neighborhood, just one block from the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and four short blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza; the luxurious Sunflower Casita Southwest provides a retreat while also allowing you to explore downtown Santa Fe spontaneously. Just leave your car(s) in the two reserved parking spots, meander through the historic neighborhood to any number of attractions just around the corner; Terracotta Wine Bistro, The Shed, a multitude of eateries, shops, museums and galleries in and around the plaza itself. With the multi-faceted Santa Fe Railyard District to the west, you’ll be amazed at the options you’ll have just within walking distance in every direction!
Then, after a long day of play in Santa Fe, the character and style of this charming space will call you back to settle and get cozy. You’ll look forward to relaxing in front of the kiva fireplace watching a movie, or chatting about your day over drinks and snacks in the well-stocked kitchen, or sipping a glass of your favorite wine under the stars on the spacious, furnished, private walled patio. All this in contemporary Southwest style will make you feel right at home.

It was spotless , cozy , convenient, beautifully decorated, comfy bed

One can see why this casita has so many repeat visitors (see the reviews): it is decently located and luxuriously equipped, and the secluded patio is a real bonus. Of course, it has a price to match, especially during the Santa Fe opera season. As others have noted, the early check-out (10:00 a.m.) is a bit of a nuisance. But we had an excellent stay and would happily return.

For the first time we chose not to stay in one of the many very good hotels in the city but rather a home. What a smart decision. Sunflower Southwest was charming, decorated impeccably and above all, more roomy and comfortable than just a room.
Looking forward to next year's opera season!

Our second stay. Home away from home describes how great this property is! Location Location Location! Short walk to the Plaza and Railyard. Easy access to roads for groceries and day trips. Well appointed in every way, clean, a very responsive property manager, and a patio so great only The City Different can make you want to leave.

We loved our stay in Santa Fe. This property was way better than staying in a hotel. Walking distance to museums, shopping, restaurants. My only complaint was the early check out time (10am). I was tired and wanted to relax a bit longer. This appears to one unit in a 4-plex, but everything was quiet and comfortable.

This property is so wonderful. I loved the outdoor patio and also the cozy feeling of the interior. The kitchen was phenomenal. The decor was perfect. We had a wonderful time there and will surely want to come back. It was so convenient to everything: restaurants, shops, and driving just a short time to get to a beautiful botanical garden and also a bird sanctuary. Santa Fe is truly a magical city and this Casita fits right in.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casita Sunflower SW! The clean, cozy, quiet and inviting space is so nice it was hard to leave but with close proximity to The Plaza and many excellent restaurants there was time for everything. The owner was very responsive and helpful with recommendations. Everything in the place was well thought out from the decor, kitchen supplies, linens, with lots of care taken. We will definitely book this lodging again on a future stay in Santa Fe.

The casita was immediately off the downtown plaza area within an easy walking distance. There were two excellent restaurants within a very short distance.

The perfect getaway casita. Great space with all the amenities. Patio is welcoming any time of day. As beautiful and functional as the photos and descriptions. Professional, friendly, and responsive management with their welcome book full of great insider recommendations. Location, Location, Location. Easy walk to the Plaza and restaurants. Easy access to everything away from the plaza as well. Makes “The City Different” feel just like home!

From the moment we unlocked the gate door and entered the beautiful patio and then entered the wonderfully decorated home we knew that this was going to be a special four night stay.
The bedroom and bathroom were both impeccably cleaned and prepared for our arrival. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet at note - impressive as it is an "in-town" location.
Since it is within 3 blocks of the plaza and walking distance to most of the best restaurants in Santa Fe the only time we used our car was on the drive out to visit Rancho de Chimayo.
We will hope to stay here on our next visit!

We loved the privacy this location provided but was so convenient to the plaza area. The outdoor seating area is like having 2 more rooms! The interior was comfortable and the linens were luxurious. An issue with the Tv was quickly resolved by the local property manager. Beware! There are too many resturants within walking distance to stay less than a month.

Location location location. The condo could not be better situated, especially if this is your first visit to Santa Fe. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance, as are the plaza, museums and galleries. There is ample parking. Technically this is a condo, but it feels very private. Thick adobe walls muffle any noise. The condo is well appointed, and very comfortable. The king size bed is very comfortable. Linens and pillows are upscale. The kitchen is small but appliances are top end. The side yard runs the entire length of the property. It is beautiful. Two sitting areas are available with ample shade. Potted plants and a soothing water fountain make the yard a little oasis. We had hummingbirds join us for coffee every morning.
The host is exceptionally helpful and friendly. She obviously cares about the property. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend.

We stayed at this casita for a week and it was delightful! Everything about it was wonderful! The location, just a few blocks from the Plaza, yet in a totally quiet street without traffic or noise. All the conveniences provided - great kitchen fully stocked, comfortable bathroom full of nice towels, and a great living room with comfortable places to sit and rest. The bed was sooo comfortable too! The patio was so nice to have - great light and open feeling! The decor was beautiful, and everything was so well maintained. Communications with Judy and Denette were quick and easy - they were both so helfpul! We loved our stay there and when in Santa Fe will stay here again! Thank you Judy and Denette for sharing your home and hospitality.

This casita is a great location for exploring Santa Fe. We walked everywhere. Everything you need is within walking distance - restaurants, the Plaza, museums, morning espresso, the farmers market. We loved the coziness of the property, inside and out. I can't think of a thing we would change about it. Owner and property manager communication was excellent also. We hope to be back the next time we explore Santa Fe.
