About this house rental

Warm and cozy ski themed house with three bedrooms and two baths, central to everything in Girdwood. Enjoy the amazing hot tub and fire pit gazebo all year long. This is a six person Hot Springs Tub that is outside and covered from the elements. The home is a short walk to numerous restaurants, including the Double Musky (voted Alaska's #1 restaurant). It's also a short walk to the Girdwood Brewery! The home has board games, a record player and a 75” TV with blankets to curl up with on the leather couch.

Clean, well stocked, with plenty of room for our group of six adults. Paved walkway leads to local restaurants, store, brewery, and hiking trails a short distance away. Easy drive should you decide to go into Anchorage, but really why would you?

This home was beautiful. It had all the amenities of being home. There was nothing we needed that it didn’t have. The fire pit was a favorite of ours. We had our morning coffee out there and ended our day relaxing by the fire. We didn’t cook much. But there was plenty of spices if you want to. The pots and pans are wonderful as well. Everything was perfect.

The house was beautiful. Clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, sweet firepit, easy to get to and close to hiking and skiing. Everything was really nice. It was a perfect addition to our Alaskan vacation! The property owner really had some great tips for activities and restaurants too!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home. Comfortable beds, easy parking/access, great location, fully stocked kitchen and laundry. The record player was an indoor hit and the cornhole and firepit was the outdoor fun. Our stay in Grant's home was the highlight of our Alaska Adventure.

This house was absolutely perfect for my friends and I. We were in Girdwood for a wedding, which was just a short walk down the road. We could also walk to restaurants and the grocery store. The 3 bedrooms accommodated us very well, and the house was clean and really comfortable to stay in. The host, Grant, was easy to communicate with and really friendly. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this VRBO to anyone!

The whole place was incredibly tastefully decorated!! I loved all of the ski themed decor, dishes, bathroom accessories. It made me want to come back in winter to ski instead of August. We enjoyed coffee and a beverage by the outdoor fire pit one afternoon. There was lots of space, bathrooms and bedroom and space to hang clothes/jackets in the laundry room was an awesome plan. There was lots to do right there at the property, we just had over planned events away from the place. A beautiful home away from home for my husband and I and our adult children and spouses.

My daughter got married at a greenhouse in Indian about 15 miles away from Girdwood, so we rented this place for the bridal party. It was well equipped and very comfortable. The owner had fun with the ski theme, everything was super cute and you had a sense of place. The fire pit outside was stunning, warm and very chic. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Loved it.

This stay was so fun! Plenty of room for eight…..the kids all slept in the one room. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen FULLY stocked (first time seeing electric wine opener and sandwich maker) and the fire pit was enjoyable even in the rain as it was covered. The owners have thought of everything. Great stay, and we hope to visit again soon.

This house was absolutely perfect! Very cozy for our large family of 9. The boardgames were perfect for the kiddos. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and the house was spic and span when we arrived. Instructions were simple and readily available next to every device/utility. Location was within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Girdwood. We had a great time and would definitely stay at Grant’s place again. Thanks for making our trip so memorable!

We had the best stay ever! Lots of privacy excellent location in Girdwood. The cabin was well stocked! We hiked alyeska ski hill to the chalet had a few beverages and rode the tram down. We went to Whittier and ate at Chair 5 when we got back. Perfect cabin in this beautiful town.

We visited Alaska for the first time with three generations and this house was perfect. We had plenty of room, were very close to town in Girdwood, and it was a perfect location from which to explore the Kenai peninsula. Grant was a great host with excellent communication. I would stay here again and would highly recommend it.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Girdwood houses. This was our favorite so far. Well equipped kitchen. Convenient driveway and location. We had four adults and five kids and while the sleeping spaces weren’t ideal, we made it work and enjoyed our time there. We would stay there again.

Very nice accommodations- in fact a little overboard for a family of fisherman who has considerable fishing experience in the "back-country". Some suggested improvements would be to have a mirror and trash basket in each of the bedrooms along with a shed-like covered box on the back steps to keep the blowing rain out of your shoes and boots.

The only reason I marked cleanliness down was because there was a mix up in the cleaning company. We arrived around 9pm and everything was a still a mess, we contacted the owner and he immediately had it taken care of. We ran out to eat and by the time we got back it was clean for us! He stopped in to check on things the next day as well. GREAT place to stay, we would definitely stay again because of the owner!! Thank you!

We loved the house and it met our needs perfectly for a family of 7. House was clean and had all items to feel like home. Great location with quick access to all activities and the highway. I would recommend getting groceries in Anchorage on the way as the local grocery store does not have a huge selection and prices are higher. Thanks! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
