The great room is open to a gourmet chef's kitchen, island with bar stools, and a separate seating area with flat screen TV. That's not all! In our amazing family friendly ground level, you will find an enormous living room/rec room with room for all to gather with a fifty-inch TV, pool, kitchenette, full bath, and seating for the masses. Buzz Inn has another 1,200 square feet of beautifully finished private living space.

Don't forget the outdoor living, in addition to all of the decks and porches, the Queen Bee also includes two gas grills, two picnic tables for gathering the family outside in the back yard dining patio, and a separate fire-pit area under the party lights. The Queen Bee and Buzz Inn also have their own custom painted golf cart with rear seats that is included with each rental, seasonally.

We stayed in Queen Bee and Buzz in for the first time this year. Have stayed in several other Beachwalk properties. The house is big with spaces for everyone. It is well stocked and was as clean inside as can be expected for a beach community resort. Having said that, the exterior of the house needs paint and trim maintenance. Rotting boards and trim on all the porches. Our biggest aggravation was there was zero beach equipment. A group of 12 people with no chairs, no inner tubes, no boogie boards, no kayaks, no noodles...nothing. A beach house on Lake Michigan with no beach equipment is rather ridiculous - especially for $13,500+!! The office said things get broken and stolen and owners choose not to replace them. Question...isn't that what security deposit is for?? Additionally, one of the washing machines didn't work, although it was fixed 3 days into our stay. The grounds around the house were a mess. Tall weeds all around the house along with old leaves from last year that hadn't been blown off the patio, under the deck by basement entrance and all around the screens on the porches. We reported it to the office the first day. They said maintenance should have done that and would be there Monday. They never came. The basement bathroom was pretty bad with mold in the shower, broken tiles and a broken ceiling fan that sounded like a jet taking off. It's a shame because the house has a great floor plan and is well furnished, but because of things listed above, we will not return to Queen Bee.

Great table. Spaces worked out well for our large family. However, the HVaC system needs cleaning. All of our allergies were through the roof. Dust covered all of the intakes. Additionally, the dryer doesn’t dry. We went outside and put our hands over the exhaust and no air was moving. Definitely a fire hazard. Also, the washer in the Buzz Inn didn’t work at all. We didn’t bother letting staff know as it wasn’t a huge deal for us, but maintenance should check it out. Also, if walked around the house barefoot, your feet would turn black.

We stayed at the Queen Bee and Buzz Inn at Beachwalk. The houses were spacious and large enough to accommodate our family of 21 comfortably. Everything is there for you to enjoy (board games, cards, firepit, wagon and cooler for the beach).We enjoyed the pool, Lake Kai beach, sand volleyball, tennis, fishing and the short golf cart ride to Sheridan beach. The cafe near the pool has yummy ice cream, and their avocado toast is delicious. We will definitely be back!

The Queen Bee and Buzz Inn were great. The kitchens were well equipped. The rooms were very comfortable. The dining room table in the Queen Bee could not have been more perfect. The only criticism I have is that the grille was so bad that it was not usable. The exterior, particularly around the entrance needs to a fresh coat of paint or pressure washing. The interior was very well done and comfortable.

The Queen Bee is the perfect house for our large extended family. The gorgeous kitchen table comfortably seats 16-18 people. We had 15 for dinner 3 nights in a row. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils to cook and eat. The beds are comfortable. The house is clean and well kept. Two minor items-a small tv in the sitting area next to the kitchen would be great for fanatics who want to watch a ball game after dinner. Also the thermostat seems to have a mind of its own. We had it set for 75 the entire week but the temp varied from 67-71. Overall a great place. We’ve already booked it for next year. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at Queen bee and Buzz Inn. Everything was clean and in good repair. We gathered round the huge table for meals and games. We spent time in the large basement area. It was nice that sometimes the kids were downstairs and the adults were upstairs doing separate activities. We walked to the beach several times to get exercise and watch the waves and play in the sand. We cooked and served thanksgiving dinner for 34 with the two ovens in the two houses. There were plenty of adorable dishes for this event. We noticed that the upper dish cupboard in the kitchen looks to be pulling away from the wall a little bit.

We rented the house for our Church Women retreat.The house is beautiful and the bedroom arrangements were perfect. We came across minor issues , most like we didn’t know how to operate, like the thermostat and the fireplace. Also one of the toilets was not flushing, but the maintenance guy took care of those things for 5 min. The only other issue we came across and maybe needs to be tested and repaired if needed was the oven. It seamed like was not reaching the needed temperature. We tried to bake lasagna.And even though we put the temperature to 375 degrees, it took over 2 hours to bake.

The home was amazing. We had a group of 20 and there was more than enough space for all. The buzz inn was a bonus for the newly weds that wanted a little extra privacy. So much to do in the house, had little need to go out. However, glad we did because the neighborhood/resort is amazing. The host was very responsive to everything. 24 - all brothers, sisters, spouses and children stayed at house to attend a wedding in Long Beach. The house was set up perfectly for a large family group! Anything you could need was available. Would highly recommend the location; although further from the beach its proximity to pool and parking make up for that minor inconvenience.

This was a great house for a lot of people. Huge kitchen table abutting a large workable kitchen for feeding lots of kids :) Nice room/bathroom setup. Could use more places to store clothes in closets. Had to live out of our suitcases all week which was annoying. Also had a pretty bad ant problem. Unfortunately, bunk room in the basement (cute decor) but infested with ants....ants in the beds. Couldn’t even let my kids sleep down there. Ants also in the second floor bathrooms. I didn’t report it while there because I didn’t want the house treated with chemicals during our staying. Please address that for future guests! Love beachwalk community. The updated facilities are beautiful...so many fun activities for the whole family! We definitely will be back to beachwalk but will look to rent a more updated home in the future.

The place needs a deep deep clean. Inside and out. It was filthy when we arrived. We had to sweep clean and mop ourselves. Shower drains slow and leaking. Shower handles broken. Hand rail out back broken. Kitchen table filthy with food crumbs. The only downside to our stay was the uncleanliness of the property. We expected better for what we paid.

Great property. Bright, clean, well-equipped! The large table that seated all was wonderful! We played pool, games, did crafts and puzzles; some family took a polar plunge! Only request would be more comfortable seating on the main floor. Made our reservations for next year!

Great house across from lake. Walking distance to park, beach, and ice cream store. House has everything you need, very clean, and updated appliances, grills, etc. We had a small challenge in turning on fireplace and resolved over the phone with one call.
