About this house rental
Nantucket Style Luxury on the Sand! 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 2 story unit, opens right onto the boardwalk and sand. Nicest rental on the peninsula -- Newly constructed in 2015 with gourmet kitchen -- subzero, wolf appliances, and great room with fireplace that opens to a giant patio with a built in BBQ. Bifold doors disappear to connect the patio and great room to give the true indoor/outdoor living. One covered parking space, and one garage space (tandem). On the beach, plus only one block from the bay and the newly opened Marina Park. Two Master bedrooms with king beds and private baths. Two bedrooms with queen beds (and one additional toddler bed), and one with a full/twin bunk. One bedroom on ground level, 4 upstairs. One bathroom on ground level, 3 upstairs. Linens, towels, beach towels, and all cooking and serving supplies included. 65" 4K TV in family room plus 3 additional tvs in bedrooms, Wifi, Cable TV, Conveniently located between the Newport and Balboa piers, close proximity to many restaurants, bars, boat and bike rentals. An absolutely incredible home. Everything you could ever ask for in a beach house. The main living spaces that open up to the beach are so functional and picturesque. Beds are comfortable. Lots of beach toys, wagon, chairs and boogie boards. We had the most memorable week here with our family and friends.

Such a great property, location and stay. You will not be disappointed with this rental. Well stocked with beach toys, towels and other fun amenities. Perfectly located for a short walk to shops, the pier, or a bike ride to Balboa Pier. Great restaurants nearby, easy delivery of bikes and groceries available in the area. Loved having access to the parking in the garage and carport as well. My only suggestion would be to add a few extra blankets to the home for the colder nights. Truly loved our stay!

This was the most perfect location for us. It opens right up to the beach so the younger kids could play in the sand, and some of the older ones were playing baseball while we sat on the patio with a glass of wine/coffee. The house itself was beautiful, very updated and we loved opening up the windows and doors straight to the patio to let the awesome California weather in. If we came back to Newport I would absolutely stay here again.

The house is very well appointed in a great location on the beach within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Christi is very attentive and friendly. We do a corporate retreat each year in different parts of the country, and this is the first time we left a location wanting to come back to the same location the next year.

Our family loved the property! It was spacious, clean, and perfect for younger children. The house is setup perfectly to allow kids to enjoy playing inside and out. Being able to hang out on the beach while toddlers were taking naps was especially helpful. We will definitely be back!

We loved this house and the location is perfect. Enjoyed opening up the doors and the sliding window in the kitchen. It felt like we were right on the beach. Hoping to come stay in these property again soon.

A lovely location for a December family gathering. West coast family hosted east coast grandchildren. We all felt a home and comfortable and soon forgot it was a rental. The manager was always available and responsive! Highly recommend VRBO and this property.

This is a place I would stay again. Great location and views. The house was spacious enough for everyone to enjoy together yet have a quiet place to relax. They had everything you would need except I wish they would supply bath soaps for those people traveling here by plane. The host was quick to answer questions when needed. The place was clean and beautiful inside.

Unfortunately and something I’ve never experienced which made me very nervous it was 15 minutes prior to check in when we received check in instructions. Check in was complicated.2 keypad and a key box. No light were left on and it was dark. It would have been nice to have my calls returned. Fireplace was not working. It’s cold and dark so that would have been nice. A plumber came late the next day to fix it. Truthfully and a MUST Christina you need to RESTOCK your kitchen and organize drawers. This beautiful home on the beach that sleeps 12 can use some silverware, pots and pans that aren’t ready for trash (not cleaned either),wine glasses (there was 1) , sharpened knives cleaning supplies (none), Basically everything in the kitchen needs to be replaced. It’s took 2 calls text messages face to face with plumber and 21/2 days later to get a dish towel. Everything was thrown in dirty cabinets. Microwave broken so that had a spare. There were lights that could not be turned on or off (outside) The toys/sand chair closet was a disaster. Everything including someone’s crutches were thrown in there. I doubt you need to keep spare crutches for guest :(… Towels were rationed at 1 per person for 5 days. That meant we had to reuse towels. And is it that much trouble and expense to supply our guest with soap? You had hand soap but no shower soap, shampoo conditioner Kleenex. Below bare minimum. For what I paid it was unacceptable. Poor response made it worse. Frustrating stressful to say the least and for such a great location the house needs maintenance and some TLC. Rugs would cozy it up . Clean the windows and hook up your TV in the bedroom. No one should neglect a home like that .

We found the perfect house to stay at in Newport! I highly recommend this house to anyone. The communication with the owner was great, and the house was AMAZING!!

This property is right on the beach as promised and looks just like the pictures! There were a few little problems - the toaster didn't work, ants in kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and living room, no laundry detergent (not even the little bit promised), and unfortunately, the next door neighbors were putting in a new tile floor and saw cutting right next to our patio for several days. (fortunately he moved towards the back of the patio after we asked him to). Those little problems are easily solved but did add some frustration to our week on the beach!
