This was the perfect size for our extended family. We came for a week to celebrate our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Loved the location, size, and pool. First time to Corpus Christi and first time as a large multi-family vacation. The duplex had a well-stocked kitchen and great balance of restrooms to bedrooms. Thanks for the new memories!

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was quite crowded at times. Only one bed in kid's bunk room was made up. Kids made their own beds. No access to Kokomo Yacht Club which would have been perfect.

My friends and I stayed here for beach to bay relay this year and was big enough to fit us all. Great location to restaurants and town. Short walk to Whitecap beach.
Only things are we would have liked more pillows and blankets and the mattresses were firmer than I like. But great option if needing to fit multiple people for a short beach weekend.

We had my brothers and their families and our mom (15 in total including a 6month old) all meet together for a family beach getaway! We had a wonderful stay! The room sizes fit perfectly for us all and we had just enough bathrooms that we didnt have to wait long for our turn. We walked the short 2 block walk to the beach every day with our chairs/ canopies/ coolers/ etc. in tow with beach wagons. We did bring some dry goods and snacks with us but went to purchase all the cold goods and more snacks at the Island IGA. I would recommend stopping at HEB before crossing the bridge from Corpus Christie to the island. The IGA was pretty pricey. The house had plenty of pots/pans/ and cookware. We washed a load of towels every morning to have clean fresh ones ready for showers after the beach which was so nice to be able to do. The kids loved the pool. The back patio was perfect to relax in the evening and share laughs at. The dining table and bar area were big enough we could all share meals together. The beds were comfy so we all slept well. And the front rooms having their own air conditioning made them even more comfortable. I think the only draw back would be the walls are very thin and you can hear everything so make sure to bring a fan or sound machine. But all in all a very wonderful and family friendly place to stay!

Family vacation was great. Location was very convenient. Beach within 5 mins. Grocery store 15 mins. Had one one issue on arrival with ants in one of the bedrooms but was resolved within a 24 window. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We had a great time at this place. Easy check in and Check out.
When we first arrived it had a musky smell going on but we brought stuff to spray and it was fine after. The place had plenty of room for my big family, the pool is literally right out the back door. The beach was about 2-3 mins away driving. Very convenient. They were fully loaded with kitchen with pots pans, etc. The only problem we had that I didn't notice until we were leaving was the dish washer door wouldn't close. I hadn't used it until we were cleaning up. Over all great place and I would stay again.

The property was clean and spacious. The bedding and bathrooms were good-excellent. The kitchen utensils need to be tossed and replaced. The couches were both shot. The dimensional lumber dining room table was cumbersome and painful to the feet. Worse part was 2 loud parties lasting to 2 AM by the neighboring rental unit.

Everything was great! We had lots of fun! The only problem we had was the sink upstairs was draining very slow, so everyone upstairs had to go downstairs and brush their teeth. There was also a little problem with ants, but not too bad. The only other thing I would recommend is that if we are to put the trash in the dumpsters out back, we would need a key to get in/out of the pool gate because we have to go through there in order to get over there. Someone had to let us in/out. Otherwise, our experience was great and we really enjoyed everything.

Should consider that we bring families with children to these places, it was great but to sit children to eat on tall stool is inconsiderate. I hade an 8 year old that her foot got caught in the middle of the stool trying to get off when she finished her dinner, then fell 3 feet to the cement ground, fell folded on her spine while her foot still caught on the stooland screamed her lungs out in Pain. Please bring down the dining table, we had toddlers that needed to eat at a table as well. Doors on some rooms did not lock, we did not receive an emergency key besides the keypad code and got locked out, it happened while going to beach thru back door, a guest locked d door with pad lock and went out the back and locked d bottom one, yes it happens. almost calling a locksmith on a Saturday but managed to open it, laundry door handle slips off. Ice machine in tefrigerator had a melted block of ice in d chute and had to take it out so it can work.

Stayed at Aruba 2 for a family wedding.. downstairs was perfect for my elderly parents with a carer.. main bedroom also downstairs for my husband and me..beautiful pool area, well maintained. We rented both Aruba units for our family reunion of 22 people. As far as space went it was excellent. The location was very good, unfortunate for us there was a red tide that week, so we didn't utilize the close beach access. There was plenty of bedding and towels, and the pool made up for our red tide issue in the ocean. I did have a very huge issue with the cleanliness. the floors turned our feet a fuzzy black within four hours. the toilets looked clean on the outside but inside black mold! The dishes were also dirty. And some of the bedding were even dirty. That upset me the most because I was charged a cleaning fee for both units. why should I be charged if I'm walking into filth?

We brought a group of kids for a church event in Corpus Christi. We chose to stay here because we thought it would make for a more enjoyable experience than staying in a hotel. The kids had a blast! The only negative thing that could be said is that we could have used more towels than were provided.

Beautiful place and location was perfect. Pool was wonderful and the gated area was a perfect spot for the little ones. We rented both sides to accommodate are large group and we had plenty of room. The beach was a block away and the location was close to other attractions. Even the rain didn't put a damper on our stay. Wonderful place!

We celebrated Christmas and Anniversaries for 5 days at Aruba Escape 1 & 2. There were 18 of us and the location was the best! The kiddos got to go to the beach, swim in the pool, and play in an area that allowed the adults to still watch football games.
