Perfect location. Clean beds.

Location was excellent. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

No breakfast service. The inside bar wasn’t open. Carpets need cleaning.

Very disappointed in a Wyndham property- it didn’t measure up to the name

The only thing we liked was the bed was comfortable.

Clean carpet, friendlier staff, free parking, working coffee pot, no hot water. The pool was slippery from algae, and my partner slipped on it and fell. Also one little girl fell completely down because it was so slippery

Nice staff and great team.

Next to water

Bartender allow people to walk in with alcohol beer and other beverages to the pool area. People left empty beer cans by the pool side. Kids were kicking empty beer cans into the pool.

This hotel needs an upgrade.

The room was not very clean and was falling apart from the ceiling to the floor. The bathroom toilet barely flushed and there was no water pressure. The mattress was a rock and the blankets were thin and hard. The heater also didn't work in the room. The elevators were in disrepair and barely worked.

Meh, okay.

I love the location of the resort along with the size and cleanliness of the room. The staff member that checked us in on Saturday night greeted us very friendly and was very helpful. Also, having the restrooms in the lobby was very convenient after taking a long walk on the beach.

The coffee that is used in the rooms and lobby could taste better and be better quality. I understand that it contributes to saving the turtles but for the price of the room I believe a good quality coffee should be included. Sunday morning when I went to the lobby to get coffee there were no more coffee creamers nor water to fill the Keurig. When I asked the young lady behind the desk, she made a face and told me that they were our of creamers and that she would check to see if they had water. What hotel would run out of creamers and water for the coffee in the morning. Talking to other people outside that were staying at the resort also mentioned that they were not happy with the coffee taste and creamer being out so they had to go and buy their coffee at Starbucks just like we had too.

Only one good thing - location.

My wife and I recently stayed at Windham Corpus Christy Resort North Padre Island Hotel ), 19-21 October. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by noise. Also we were disappointed with the level of customer service we received. We requested about the non smoking and quiet room (not next to the elevator!) during our check-in. And we got the positive answer. But they gave us the room - right in front of the elevator! Although there were not so many guests on Thursday. In addition, it was connecting room - we didn’t book this type of room! (And a cockroach was on the floor). The elevator was really noisy. But the worst thing happened when we have been waked up about 3 am, - by the neighbor who have been watching the TV in the room next to our . Please, notice, that the doors didn’t have enough soundproofing - we mean the doors between our connecting rooms. The noise level was so high that we were unable to sleep in our room. We have been waiting about an hour. Then we called to the front desk. Then we have been waiting about another half an hour.

Room without a view, the room for the step children of the world!

The only thing we liked was that this hotel room was on the beach.

The room window faced the trash cans. There was no closet in the room to hang clothes. The towels were a dingy off white and the sheets were stained with blood or rust. Someone in the adjacent room was jiggling the door handle, which was creepy.

It was a great stay overall.

We loved the location. The room was okay. It was very quiet tho. We loved the bar, the dj (great music), and the pool’s atmosphere on the Saturday night, that was fun. 🙂

The building was old. The first thing we saw walking in our room was a big cockroach. The elevator was sketchy.

Disappointing

Location

Broken elevator, lacked bar and restaurant staff, it had a broken/missing window shade, and it had a metal piece fall out of an A/C vent-I took it down to the front desk so they could fix it. I will not book again. I felt sorry for the few staff they had as they tried to cover all areas with little help. This property is not Resort status and should not be labeled as such.

Exceptional

This was one of our best stays anywhere. The location was perfect step right out and u are on the beach. The food was delicious at the restaurant. The pool / hot tub and bar were amazing. The staff was great we will be making this our new go to... My kids loved being so close to the water... It was perfect

Close to beach, but beach often crowded

Was late checking in and hotel already gave room to someone else, even though my room was prepaid for. Also, big issue with elevators. Some were broken, and working ones very slow and overcrowded.

It was ok.

The bar outside, the location to the beach, the pool. Loved the music playing. Housekeepers were very nice and even greeted us.

There was not enough parking, the a/c to my room didn't cool my room, the restroom door creaked so whoever used the restroom woke me up. No restroom outside for pool people had to run onside which was cold entering building and a bit of a distance. Staff didn't even greet us, just took reservation and didn't even tell us about the place. The elevator sucked, and I had to wait a good while nit to mention couldn't fit my stuff in the elevator with my family. It was too small, and the elevators sounded like it was going to break down. When I told the front office about my concerns, she just said ok, I'll tail maintain but like she didn't even care. She said next person in line.
