About this house rental

Beautifully restored cottage is a short walk to Galveston's Seawall and beaches. Located in the historical East End we are only 1 block from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Several quaint little restaurants are within walking distance.
The cottage features 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom. The kitchen features marble countertops and new stainless steel appliances. It is fully stocked and ready for you to prepare your meals. The laundry room features a full size washer and dryers and a 1/2 bath. The living room has a sleeper sofa for additional guests if needed. Relax on the front porch swing or enjoy the private backyard and outdoor fireplace.

I loved staying here! Ms Kim was very fast in her responses when I needed something. The kids loved it and I loved the location which was walkable to the beach. We would definitely come back to stay again in the future!

The location is out of the way so that you are not getting all of the noise for activities happening in the area, but close enough to walk. Place is nice inside and outside and has a great setup.

This place was great! Very clean and well kept. The front door code didn't work on the door but that was fine. The driveway is in the back and the back door had the code and the key. We just used the back door. We have no complaints! Kim was great to work with. We would love to stay here again!

We stayed 4 nights during the Lone Star Bike Rally. We arrived and had no problem getting into the house. It was very clean and beautifully decorated with nostalgic pieces and ocean theme. From the hardwood floors to the tiled showers, this house had everything you could ever need while away from home. The beds were plush as well as the linens and pillows. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils and dishes. And the patio with the grill and outdoor fireplace sold me on renting this location and I was not disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I guarantee you will too!

My husband and I enjoyed a belated 35th anniversary at this terrific house on Post Office Street. It was exactly as pictured, just lovely! The outdoor area was amazing. We spent lots of time out there reading, napping, sipping wine. The lights that came on automatically just after sundown were spectacular! The house was extremely clean and well furnished. (We enjoyed the unusual ceiling fans in each room!) We walked to the beach and the strand. (We DO like to walk, so if you don't, you might want to drive to these places.) If you choose this house, you will certainly not be disappointed!

The only reason this property only got four stars is that I would have liked a TV in one of the bedrooms. This house was everything that day it is! Great location on the island! Great outdoor living space! The whole house is updated and clean! We will totally use this property again on our next visit if it is available

We stayed the weekend just before we got on a cruise. This house was perfect! Close to the Strand, port, and Seawall. We will definitely stay here again. If I had only one complaint, it would be that there are not TV’s in the bedrooms. Other than that, it was great!

We rented this charming home while we were in Galveston for an almost weeklong event. Location was so nice and very quiet. Owners were very prompt in addressing a ceiling fan issue by bringing a fabulous standing oscillating fan that was perfect and now must find one just like it when I get home. Would definitely recommend this property and if ever in Galveston again, I’ll be booking this home.

The cottage is amazing and we had a wonderful time. Its located close to good restaurants and all of the historic homes we were there to see! Decor is luxury coastal, and the house is very inviting. We enjoyed our stay and the spacious living areas as well as the private bathrooms for each room. The patio is amazing and if it hadn't rained we would have loved to hang out and build a fire. This place is awesome, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, and its close to everything. Would love to return soon!
