Everything was good.

Great hosts, lovely gardens, warm clean room and a cooked breakfast. Room for the dogs (theirs and ours) to go bonkers running everywhere. What more could you want.?

Andrew made a lovely breakfast each morning & lots of options offered. Felt quite spoilt with our cooked eggs (scrambled with herbs; poached) & beautiful mushrooms, toast, coffee & fresh fruit. Must try Andrew’s kombucha, it’s fantastic too
We couldn’t stay longer & talk Eventing with Penny and we also didn’t bring our little doggie to meet Rocco, Alfie & Marley

Our stay at Shuringi was simply delightful! Andrew and Penny were the perfect hosts, warmly welcoming us and providing us with an enjoyable and memorable experience. We had originally planned to explore Whanganui during our stay, but were so taken by the stunning views from the property and the delightful company of our hosts, that we ended up spending most of our time at the property. It was an experience that far exceeded our expectations!

The location is a short drive to town. The gardens were beautiful and so tranquil to watch the birds in the lake.
Andrew made us a wonderful tasty and fresh breakfast. A great to start our day.

Amazing Hosts - Andrew & Penny, Beautiful gardens - I picked my own fruit - grapefruit, apple & pear for breakfast while Andrew cooked breakfast with fresh eggs from the henhouse. Penny’s remarkable 5yr transformation of the the gardens - flowers galore, doves en masse protecting their territory from hawks wanting to go fishing in their replica Claude Monet Giverney Garden. Spectacular.
All perfect

Andrew puts a lot of effort into providing a great breakfast to start the day with. There is a great range of food options available and Andrew is a pretty decent cook.
The location of Shurinji is very convenient being only a few kilometres outside of Whanganui and being surrounded by countryside, it is a very quiet location.
Can't think of anything...very happy with our stay at Shurinji.

Penny and David were very warm, friendly and welcoming - we were made to feel like real guests at their charming B&B. Penny gave us an hour plus guided tour of her wonderful gardens which have been designed and maintained with great expertise and loving care - they are truely exceptional. David is a splendid cook who spoiled us with his hospitality and flair. Location and amenities are excellent.

The breakfast was excellent. The host questioned us the day before as to how we would like things cooked and served and delivered in great style the next day, eggs from their own chickens and crispy bacon to match the crunchy toast. The host also told us a few jokes and the coffee kept coming. We were also given grapefruit from their own trees and a recommendation for the best pies in town!
Can't think of anything.

Andrew was amazingly compassionate regarding my stay. I went to visit my very sick mum who is at the end of her journey. Andrew has refunded the whole amount which he did not need to do. My heartfelt appreciation to Shurinji. Thankyou
