BRISTOL TOWN BEACH & SPORTS COMPLEX
Ideal for fitness and fun, the town beach also offers an impressive sports complex for beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, bocce ball, horseshoe, and roller hockey. Additionally, it features a playground for younger children, a skate park, grassy picnic grounds, multiple fields for team sports, and a safe swimming area with seasonal lifeguards on duty.
COLT STATE PARK
Colt State Park, known as the 'Gem' of the RI State Parks System, offers spectacular, panoramic views of Narragansett Bay and 450+ acres of groomed trees, flowering bushes, manicured lawns, and picnic groves. It also features 4 miles of bicycle trails, 10 large play-fields, a historical museum, a public boat ramp, a fishing pier, and Mill Gut Pond – an ideal waterway for bird watching and digging for quahogs and other clams.

Walk, bike or drive the 1.5 miles to beautiful downtown Bristol and enjoy a wide range of dining, drinking, entertainment, and shopping experiences near the water. During the summer, Bristol is well known for its Independence Day Parade and Festivities (celebrated annually since July 4, 1785) as well as it’s free summertime concert series in Independence Park.

The home features 3+ bedrooms (3 queen beds and 1 twin bed), 2 full baths (as of 2024 remodel) and an outdoor shower --- perfect for rinsing off after a day on the beach. It is fully furnished and comes with everything you need for day-to-day living and year-round entertainment. In addition to the 1st floor living room for lounging and TV watching, there is also a cozy 2nd floor entertainment room with another TV for the kids.
With central heating & brand new, high capacity mini-split systems on each floor for air conditioning, the home is quite comfortable year round. There are also several fans around the house if guests prefer that option, but often with the cooling breeze off the water, just opening the screened windows and doors is perfect!
The new backyard decks (one on the back of the house and the other by the seawall) offer exceptional sunset views and are ideal for outdoor living.
The large grassy backyard is shaded by two beautiful Silver Maple trees and provides a wonderful playground for cornhole, badminton, ladder ball, frisbee ring toss, lawn bowling, lawn pong, croquet, or just lounging in a hammock. This equipment, along with beach chairs, a new Weber BBQ and several adult bicycles (with helmets & locks), are all available for your use. Our guests are also welcome to use our sporting equipment (i.e., tennis rackets & balls, volleyball, and basketball ) at the Bristol Town Beach & Sports Complex which is just steps away.

A place with both charm and modern amenities in a great location. We feel we could enjoy any season here but our summer visit with extended family (5 adults, 2 kids) left us feeling we wished we stayed a little longer.
We took advantage of access to the wonderful East Bay bike path, the Bristol town beach, & Colt Park without needing a car. If the afternoon got hot, we kicked back in the comfort of the house cooled by 2 Minisplits. After getting together for a meal on the deck cooked on the Weber gas grill, we watched the sailboats drift by with the sun setting behind them.
We were lucky with the weather, but had it rained we could have put together a meal in the fully equipped kitchen and let the kids watch their shows while we used the other flatscreen TV.
We look forward to our next visit here.

My family had such a lovely time at this beautiful location. The house is just as described- clean, comfortable and the perfect location on the water with its own beach- right next to the larger public beach. My 3 yo son loved the yard games and it was so easy to walk everywhere- playground, beach, Colt state park, bike path to the downtown. The yard was large enough and the access to the water is a few steps down that I did not feel it was unsafe for children as long as they are supervised. Byron and Robin are exceptional hosts who are friendly, conscientious and well-organized. I would recommend this home to anyone!

From our initial inquiry to the end of our stay, it was clear that Byron and Robin manage their lovely rental with the utmost care and professionalism. I won't spoil all of the delightful surprises that await here but will say that the hospitality and location are outstanding. Also, a bonus for the young or young-at-heart: the basement is a treasure chest of games and gear for both land and sea. Our family spent hours playing in the ample yard, private beach, and adjacent public beach, recreational area, and scenic state park. We'll be back!

The house and property was warm, inviting and immaculate. So many amenities and extras if you wanted to bbq or cook. We did not as part of being on vacation is not cooking and cleaning up. Beds were comfortable. Location was close to a beautiful walking/bike trail and a park. Byron and Robin were always available if needed and were so gracious to making sure our stay was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This house is beautiful. Very well taken care of and immaculate. The location is perfect. Very quiet and well-maintained neighborhood. Quick drive into town which has a variety of excellent restaurants. Owners provided an amazing amount of information prior to our trip with activity and dining recommendations. House was very well-stocked with everything from kitchen items to beach towels to outdoor games. Already looking forward to booking again for next year!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home. The location and amenities can't be beat - waterfront, huge deck and backyard, and immediately next to magnificent parks with long walking and biking paths. The home itself worked great for our group and the hosts had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We would happily stay here again!!

Perfect sums up our experience! The house was immaculate, comfortable and beautifully decorated inside and out. No detail was overlooked. Outside the views of the ocean were beautiful. It was the perfect home base as we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from RWU. We were able to walk to Colt state Park, spend a day in Bristol as well as just sit relax and enjoy all that the home offers

This is our second Thanksgiving Holiday stay at the Lovely Bristol Beach House and it is a dream come true for our family. It is the first actual HOUSE we have ever lived in! The detail in every inch is so personal , thoughtful and full of love and really feels like OUR home when we stay there. Everything you need or think you will need is there! Even BIKES! The sunsets are magnificent and the family bike ride has now become no a family tradition.Bryon & Robin have outdone themselves to make each guest feel at home. They are the BEST!

This property my family and I rented for the long weekend for my wedding. Byron & Robin were very welcoming to me not only to the house but to Bristol RI.
The house had everything you needed and more. Very clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the appliances with everything you needed down to spices and ziplock bags.
The beds we’re comfortable with plenty of towels to go around!
The grounds were beautiful and porch overlooking the water was breathtaking. We got to see a beautiful sunset also. Which was a great way to end our wedding weekend.

First, the location of this property is lovely. The house has a magnificent view, the yard is beautifully landscaped, and the deck offers the perfect vantage point to take it all in. The house was pristine and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident in the kitchen having all the essentials, the decor clean and perfect for the space, and it felt like our hosts went above and beyond in thinking about and providing so much recreational equipment, all in great shape and ready to use. This is so different from other rentals where equipment is often piecemeal, missing parts, or dirty.
Our hosts' hospitality was exceptional. Byron was readily available to answer any questions and provided us with valuable local tips and recommendations. It's evident that he and his wife genuinely care about his guests' experiences and want them to make the most of their time in this beautiful location. It's really nice to come across a rental whose managers care about each detail and strive to maintain the highest standards! Can't wait to come back!

Another magical week at the picture perfect Bristol cottage! The hosts had done everything to make a fast and smooth transition to relaxation and fun. Swimming, bicycling, walking, shell collecting and delicious restaurants are waiting outside the door. That is only if you are inclined to leave the property with its magnificent views from both levels! We’re excited to book again for next year!

You truly can't beat the location, the views, and the hospitality of the home owners. The house is stocked with everything you could need to unwind and host friends / family for a BBQ. Byron and Robin’s house was one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever rented. It was very well appointed and the hosts were very detail oriented.
Bristol is an adorable town filled with New England charm. We had a fun and relaxing stay even though the weather was less than stellar for part of our trip.
The waterfront can be quite rocky and has lots of shells, so I recommend good water shoes.
As others mentioned, the only thing that may be a minor drawback for some families is the bed/bath layout. There’s a full bathroom downstairs and one half bath upstairs with access through a bedroom (which is not the bedroom I’d consider to be the primary).

Our stay was perfect from the second we opened the front door. The house is beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. There is nothing better than watching the sunset, falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on shore, and waking up to a hot cup of coffee served on the deck.
We look forward to a return trip in the near future.

This is our second time here! Great location with beautiful views of the bay. The property was already nice our first visit last year. It has been nicely updated, and it is absolutely gorgeous now!
Very convenient to Bristol, a quaint small town with some history and good dining. Very accessible from Providence airport.

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful beachfront property and it was the perfect getaway. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the view was wonderful, especially the sunsets. The hosts provided detailed information about the check-in process, answered questions quickly, and sent comprehensive suggestions for restaurants, stores, and local attractions. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful views and a short walk to beach and beautiful Colt State Park. This home is well kept and exceptionally clean. The amentities (bikes, games, kayak, etc) were all in perfect order and easily accessible. My wife and 3 teenage daughters want to come back in the summer. Home confortably sleeps 7 (we had 5) and has 2 baths, only one of which had a shower however. We'd rent again without hesitation. Thanks for making it a special visit to Bristol.

We could not have loved this property more! Checkin and checkout was seamless as well as communication from the owners themselves. I am a VERY clean person who keeps a VERY clean house and I’d give cleanliness a 10/10 here!!!
Open views of the ocean were to die for! We even managed to get a light snowfall so our Florida boys could enjoy the snow!

We had the best time. Great location adjacent to state park. Cycling, jogging and walking in the pristine fall air on the waterfront was absolutely invigorating. Then home to a crackling fire. The kitchen layout was perfect for preparing a holiday meal with everyone in the roomy kitchen with two separate ovens and four burners. The fridge was also ample for all of the fixings and leftovers. We were very comfortable in our beds and the heating system worked perfectly. We also enjoyed playing yard games on the back lawn and lounging in the sunshine on the hammock and deck chairs. The "guest book" was also very handy with address and mapped routes to the local stores. All in all we have a great time.

The house was very charming and had a view that you just can't beat. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset all three nights we were there. It was very cold and windy when we were there (mid-November) but the house stayed cozy and warm. We would love to visit again during warmer weather so we can take advantage of the back yard and all of the outdoor amenities.

The only minor drawback was the bedroom/bathroom layout. The first floor has a queen bedroom and a full bath (not attached to the bedroom). The second floor has a queen bedroom with an attached half bath (no access except through the bedroom), a queen bedroom with the lovely view of the bay but no bathroom, and the twin sleeping nook. This worked okay for us since we're all one family (kids age 10, 13, and 15) and no one has any issues going up/down stairs in the middle of night, but it might be a challenge for families with younger kids or for mixed friend groups.
Overall 5-star experience and a place that we would be honored to stay again. Don't hesitate to book!

This property was absolutely perfect! Byron and Robin were excellent hosts. From the design to the conveniences, they put great thought and effort into making sure you have everything you need here. Providing paper products, towels, linens, equipment, night lights, air purifier, and cleaning products made all the difference in terms of travel ease. The property was very clean and cozy. The location is perfect - against the water and close to area proximities. With serene, breathtaking views, this was the relaxing trip we needed. Will definitely be back...with the family and for just the two of us trips!!

My best friend and I, along with our husbands and kids stayed for a long weekend in October. The house was in great shape/updated with plenty of space for our needs (3 kids ranging from 9mos-3 years)! The view is beautiful and we enjoyed the spacious deck and yard so much. The house was super clean which is very important to me. Check-in and check-out were seamless. It was a little chilly to hit the beach but it is within walking distance from the house. Overall 10/10 would recommend :)

This cottage is FABULOUS! It is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, well appointed —and has a gorgeous view of the Naragannsett Bay. There is plenty of room but offers an intimacy that makes a get together with dear friends perfect. The owners were a delight to communicate with and very helpful in making some local recommendations. We would love to return and use as a home-base for exploring more of the area.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed its third visit to this property. The house is spotless, comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. The views are absolutely stunning, and we all could not get enough of the patio and deck. Byron is a gracious host and very responsive. We hope to return!

Perfect location in Bristol!
The home is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location next to Bristol town recreation facilities and Colt State Park and close to the bike path cannot be beat! Sunsets from the back deck were amazing! The host was very attentive and responsive.

Fabulous Spot!
What a great rental with outstanding support from the owner! When we could tear ourselves away from the beautiful property with lawn games and water toys provided, we enjoyed the bike path (bicycles provided), Colt State Park and the public beach all within steps of the home. Every amenity was stocked and each night we enjoyed the fabulous sunsets from the deck. This rental is exceptional!

We were here for our daughter’s wedding weekend. House is very clean, location couldn’t be better! The owners, Byron & Robin, are very attentive and friendly. Even the neighbors were super friendly. We cannot wait to come back! Love this spot

Absolutely beautiful
Our first of many family trips to this destination. The home was clean, well appointed and beautiful. Granddaughters had a blast and slept well each night after super fun days playing outside. Even with a bit of rain there was fun things to do inside this cozy home. We all look forward to coming back next year!
