Our quiet shingled 'Nantucket Style' cottage perches herself overlooking the soft breezy tranquil waters of Mt. Hope Bay and is directly on a private beach. This charming Beach Chic Rose Cottage transports you to life in a ocean front home. Step out of your car onto our sea shelled lined drive and hear the crunch of the shells under your flip flops. Smell the roses as you walk under the rose covered arbor towards your fresh new open air sea cottage. It is a wash in breezy ocean colors overlooking the sea. It is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee watching the red sunrise or have a glass of wine watching the captains billowing sails go by towards their open sea adventure. A balmy night, the moonlit sea, a soft breeze, the infusion of fresh sea air throughout the house, sultry music together with a dazzling view of twinkling lights across the bay bridge make for one of the most memorable evenings of the summer! You won't want to leave! The coastal appeal, cushy down pillows, hand rolled towels and your personal platter of treats awaits your arrival!
The tranquil blue and white 'hydrangea room' features a king size canopy bed thoughtfully appointed in blue and white damask designer linens, down pillows and down duvets and is perfect for a plush week of restful sleep. Keep your windows open to hear the water lapping against the shore.
The 'Rose Garden' room is done in a cottage white and blue decor with special touches of down pillows and duvets. Window boxes full of blooms and beachy themed accents.
A new English white kitchen with white glass cabinets, butcher block counters, electric stove and a farmers sink is ready for you to enjoy if you decide to cook or just make tea. Our Blue and White English China is a nice appointment for tea and scones or fresh lobster salad which is plentiful here in Bristol! Local wine is left for you in the fridge along with your personal platter of treats upon your arrival! We are open winter, spring, summer or fall. We decorate and suggest visits during our towns celebrations each season. Fourth of July is a pinnacle in Bristol and is exciting to experience right down to our Red, White and Blue striped streets! Some of our guests fish directly in front of the house for their catch of the day. You can shell all day and walk the beach, take your own boat or use our kayaks - call for our mooring availability and capacity. Anyone who wants a get away for a special occasion or just a vacation, this is a special place to come and not far from any adventure, including the fantastic Newport Mansions, Polo Grounds, Roger Williams Zoo, the stately homes of Bristol, our favorite casual restaurants, golf, etc...

Aesthetically beautiful, but fell short in practical terms. TV didn't work, owner was unable to fix during our stay. Refrigerator was a problem, never got cold the two nights I stayed - we had medication which had to be refrigerated that had to be replaced. Dirty cheese knife in drawer - still had cheese on it. Long hair in fridge drawer. And the biggest disappointment - a few people wrote about the "no view" in the cottage to the back of the property - I didn't quite get it until I arrived and realized, the only view of the water from our cottage was through the kitchen door window. Since there is a second cottage right in front of the one I stayed in - we were unable to use the upper deck. With two little kids sleeping in the cottage, I was unable to leave my cottage and go to lower deck area. Overall disappointed. I asked owner to consider a credit due to the loss of the medication - emergency supply replacement needed - but she refused any responsibility and told me I should have let her know about all the problems and stored my medicine in her fridge. I paid $650 a night, but realize now that doesn't mean I would not encounter problems. I waited a month to write the review to make sure what I write will help future vacationers and not be solely a means to vent. The owner did seem to be a very nice person but surprised me when she didn't take any responsibility for the numerous problems and didn't consider a credit for the lost medication.

It was a nice, quick getaway, quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed the friendly swans that came to visit.. And the Seaglass we found one the beach was a perfect souvenir to take home.

A short but sweet stay. Dee was super friendly and accommodating, and gave us an absolutely lovely welcome platter of treats. We didn't have beach weather, but we used the kayaks and sat on the patio anyway. The bathroom is like what you'd see in a 5 star hotel. The kitchen is also incredible.

We enjoyed our stay, I wish we had been in the front unit - that unit had a wonderful full water view. This back unit is very tight, my suggestion for the owner is to remove some of the Knick knacks - the space is so tight, it was hard to move around with such big furniture and stuff. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

This was booked for 4 women for a girls trip. The cottage is tastefully decorated and clean. The beds were comfortable and the cabinets were well equipped for making breakfast. We were surprised to find that the cottage wasn’t a stand alone property and was behind another unit that was facing the water. There was a water view from the door only. The king bed room was crowded- there’s no room to walk around the bed maybe 12 inches or so- and there’s no storage area, so everything was kind of cramped. There was a nicely curated list of local spots, and we took the suggestion of the Lobster Pot which was 10 minutes away by Uber. Cottage is Close to the bike shop and bike path, and we easily explored down town after a couple minute drive. It was so thoughtful to leave the tray of goodies in the fridge, but be were surprised that some of the items were over ripe, had already been used/opened and there was no local wine as stated in the letter. The owner was very responsive, though she did unexpectedly drop in on us which we found slightly odd, if not invasive. I did not know in advance of this booking that we would have to replace all the linens on the beds ourselves prior to leaving. This leads be to believe that our linens were placed by some previous renter and that is slightly unsettling.

I actually cannot say enough wonderful things about this stay. Dee is so detail oriented, its a level of hospitality you just dont see anymore. I found out from one of the people who helps on the property that she is an interior decorator and it just makes so much sense woth how beautiful it is. The decor is so detail oriented, and she put fresh cut flowers in every single room of our unit. The platter of treats is bountiful, its not really just one snack but more like 4 or 5. Small touches like makeup remover in the bathroom just make you feel so thought of. We came for our anniversary and just had the most lovely time enjoying the view and relaxing. Bring water shoes if you want to put your feet in the water though, the stoney shore is tough on the feet and slippery.

Spent a few days in Bristol at this lovely little cottage. On the quiet east side with a beautiful water view. Completely updated, small but comfortable for me and my husband. Awesome host who left the most generous welcome platter! Next time will look to rent the front cottage with larger deck and better view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the New Beach Rose Boutique Cottage on the Beach. The cottage was just adorable. The decor just said “Weclome, come in and relax.” The welcome gifts of the lovely goodies in the fridge and the basket in the kitchen were very much appreciated and enjoyed. The cottage was centrally located for us to visit all the attractions that were were interested in seeing. The one time that I had to contact Dee, she was readily available and very helpful. There are plenty of chairs outside so that you could sit and enjoy watching the water If I had anything negative to say it would be that there is very little closet space. A small open area in second bedroom exists but held very little space for people to hang clothes, especially for more than one person. There was no closet in other bedroom. There was also only one comfortable chair in living room which made watching TV uncomfortable. The second person ended up sitting on a kitchen chair. Was also quite surprised that we had to make the bed for the next guest when we left. Didn’t mind doing it, just never heard of it before. But overall, there were more wonderful things than bad. I would love to stay there again!

Lovely place to stay for the Brown graduation. The cottage is well stocked with everything you could need, and we really appreciated the snacks and drinks our host provided. There is a lovely deck area with comfortable chairs and lounge chairs for enjoying the coastal view. Highly recommend.

The first impression when you come in through the door is the place is noce and clean. However, things start to change when is time to unpack your luggage. The places do not have any closet space and the dresser is full of stuff. We upted for placing our cloths on the sofa which is completely full of cushings leaving no space to sit down and when you move the cushings and put them on the side, then the place become a cluster. The bed on the main room have many cushings also and is the same filling and they take much of the space in the room. There is only about 16 inches of walkable space on one side of the bed and about 12 inches on the other side(this is where we had to put the cushings).
This places is only good for a couple with no kits as you have to compromise getting heat throughout the house or privacy. There is only one heater in the main bedroom and if you want the bathroom, the kitchen, living room and second bedroom to be warm you must leave all doors opened…. So defenetely is not made for other than a couple with no kit. The parking instruccions are wrong. They tell you to park to the far right of the arbor rose and we did just that but then I got a text with a photo of my car asking me to move it by the entrance… which if.the instruccions would of said inmediate right, I would of follow that. It left a bad taste as the lady never accepted my apologies for parking in the wrong spot which it is not even marked. There was like a 55 TV in the house without cable …

Nicely decorated and furnished. Beautiful bathroom and well furnished kitchen. My only complaint is the small size of the sitting area and position of the furniture and TV. It’s not set up for any more then 2 people to comfortably hang out. Fortunately it was just my wife and I so it wasn’t an issue but I don’t think it would work with another couple. Maybe consider reconfiguring as a one bedroom and den.

My husband and I took his Mother on vacation to this lovely cottage in Bristol RI. It was breathtaking and the pride in ownership showed in every detail. It was just the perfect size for the three of us. The weather did not cooperate but we would have loved to explore our surroundings. The beautifully arranged welcome tray was awesome. Really lovely rental. Just my husband and myself. Very tastefully decorated, very clean and a quiet neighborhood. We're kayakers and if you don't want to walk/up down the stairs with your own kayak, there's a great "put in" spot just around the corner.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property! Upon our arrival the space was beautiful, clean and welcoming. A fruit & cheese platter was prepared for us in the fridge, as well as other amenities throughout the cottage — like flowers in the bedrooms and cute soaps in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was incredibly nice and overall the decor set the scene for a relaxing waterfront stay. The view was beautiful and the water access was an incredible bonus. Dee greeted us during our stay and was lovely.

The perfect getaway! Great location and clean home. Wonderful view! The owner left us a delicious surprise - a fruit platter, pastries, and breakfast essentials that made our next morning so easy after a long journey. We hope to stay here again! The only downside is we didn’t want to leave!

We came last year for our anniversary and loved it so much we returned this year. Dee the host was great - delicious welcome platter as well as coffee and cream and coffee filters waiting for us. Peaceful Weekend Getaway
We stayed here for a long weekend and it was exactly what we needed to refresh from the crazy city life. The property was spotless and the decor cozy. Denise was a wonderful host checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and also gave us the best recommendations as this was our first time in Bristol. The location of the property was perfect as it’s a short drive to historic downtown Bristol and the harbor. The property is right on the water and was a beautiful way to wake up with the views and a cup of coffee in hand. I have already told several friends to stay here the next time they venture to RI! Thank you Denise for such a wonderful stay we will definitely be returning!!

Wonderful waterfront cottages
We really enjoyed our stay. The waterfront location is so relaxing. The property is very well equipped and the many welcome items stocked in the fridge were abundant. Dee was very friendly and easy to reach. The cottages are beautifully appointed and comfortable. The only thing we missed was a Keurig but we just made whole pot like we used to. Haha

A cozy cottage and a five star welcome from the owner, who was readily available, left flowers in every room, an enormous welcome platter and helpful suggestions. The cottage is attractively decorated, the beds very comfortable and the soaking tub bliss. We especially enjoyed the water view from the deck with morning coffee and evening wine.

Lastly the bedrooms are pretty small relative to the size of the beds so there is just enough space to stand next to the beds.

To start, the property is beautifully appointed with lovely exterior landscaping and designer interior touches. Cozy with two bedrooms and a gorgeous marble bathroom. Fruit tray and fresh flowers waiting upon arrival--very special! Denise was incredibly hospitable and willing to accommodate any requests we made.
