About this apartment rental

This beautiful downtown NON-SMOKING condo features wildlife and hunting decor. It has one gas fire place in the living room, 3 Smart T.V.'s, Sub Zero glass front refrigerator, Wolf Gas Range & Oven, Sub Zero microwave drawer, dishwasher in the Kitchen with granite counter tops and is fully stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. The condo comes with a long list of amenities and personal touches. Guests will also receive discounts at Foster Medical and Foster Aesthetics Clinic when staying at condo. Pets are allowed up to 80 pounds. Cats must be declawed. Pet Deposit Required
Owner asks for guest to send Copy of AKC Registration or Certificate/Letter from Vet to verify breed.
Late check out fees:
No Charge for late check out IF Approved and up until Noon.
$50 late check out fee from 30 minutes past check out to 2pm
Half Night charged for late check out after 2pm to 5pm
Any time after 5pm guest will be charged for a full nights stay.
Quite hours are 10pm on Weekdays and Midnight on Weekends.
If police have to be called for a noise violation there will be a charge of $250 fee.
Smoking is NOT permitted in Condo or outside the front door. If you smoke you must be at least 12ft away from the front door. If smoking of ANY kind is found there will be a $500 charge.

We stayed here for a golf tournament at Keene Trace. Location was convenient for enjoying downtown bars/restaurants and easy drive to the course. 2 bed/2bath nice for 2 couples. Fully equipped kitchen, great front porch. Unit is in a busy area so there is quite a bit of street noise. Owner/manager was quick to respond when contacted.

The property was extremely convenient to University of Kentucky which is why we chose it in the first place. We are from SC and appreciate taking a old soul place and giving it modern touches. This had all the charm. The property manager is responsive, easy to reach, accommodating and wonderful to rent from. If you are moving your child into North campus at UK... this is a great place to stay.

This was a very cool place! There are a lot of walkable things to enjoy and lots more within a 30 minute drive or less. It was clean and thankfully had two types of pillows to choose from. Life saver. I was able to communicate with the host easily with quick response. If you're looking for a quiet place, you'll need to go further out from the city.

Place was a great for two couples - we enjoyed downtown Lexington, a distillery and Keeneland. Convenient location in a bustling historic area Fireplace didn’t work so that a disappointing given the chili temps.

Pluses were that this property has been updated and decorated very well. It was very inviting and had everything you need. We loved that it had a mix of original exposed brick walls and very modern. Minuses were that there was a lot of road noise, some of the batteries needed to be replaced in the remote fixtures and we had to walk around the building from back to front to enter. They reallly need to find a way to enter from the back since there is a back door to the unit.

Very trendy place for couples who are visiting the Lexington area. Very close to many restaurants and bars. Communication with the property manager was very good. We left an article behind and quickly were able to get the item found and arrangements made for getting it back.

This was a great condo with a wonderful floor plan. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which makes it super convenient for more than 2 guests. The place is well stocked, clean and pedestrian friendly with many restaurants and businesses within walking distance from the front steps. The neighborhood is colorful! We were not deterred by the homeless campsite right across the street from the property but this might be an issue with some. The street sounds might also disturb others but again did not present any problems for my party as we always travel with box fans for noise-canceling properties. All in all, I would book here again because the owners were super accommodating, allowing us a late checkout and always giving me a timely response when I would reach out to them. Very positive experience!!

We needed a location that did not require a car to get around. This place was beautiful and the gas fireplace was a treat because it was cold. Perfect with 2 bedrooms and two baths. Kitchen was wow. It was a little noisy at night, but that was expected due to location and weekend. Close to UK campus. Go CATS!

Property was in one of the older historical homes and had lots of charm. Beds were very comfortable and rest of the accommodations were as well. The only two negative things was not being able to control the thermostat ourselves and kitchen is a little sparse outside of the appliances. Host was very responsive

We visited one night over a weekend. The place was very clean and very convenient to downtown. The only drawback was street noise (people and vehicles) well into the night.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The condo was plenty big enough for the 4 of us (adults). I liked the security of the building since it is located in the downtown area. Building manager was great to work with and the few issues we had were dealt with promptly. The noise from the road outside can be loud at times, but it wasn't an issue for us. Beds were great! Showers had plenty of hot water and water pressure. We usually cook when we travel and this kitchen could be better stocked. And having a washer and dryer that was big enough for the 4 of us was a huge plus. Thank you!

The condo is exactly as pictured and plenty of room for 4 adults. The bathrooms are not attached to the bedrooms but are across the hall. It is downtown, lots of activity and noise especially for the front bedroom. The mattresses are amazing, so comfortable. Parking is directly behind the unit but we couldn't find a back entrance so you have to carry luggage down the side street, up the sidewalk and then up 10 front steps to the unit. If you want to be close to downtown and stairs aren't an issue for you, this condo is a great find!

We had a fabulous experience at the Black Bear Lodge condo in Lexington! Our accommodations were pristine, practical, and in a perfect location. Bethany was very helpful, and a wonderful host! We hope to be back soon!

The space was perfect, the manager Bethany was very helpful when I needed to communicate.....at 5am!. The location is perfect, parking is tricky (tight spaces too), but fantastic place to attend a game, go to track or check out bourbon country. I will be back and would take this space again.

We had a great stay. The unit was exactly what we hoped it would be and more. Located right next to some of our favorite restaurants; Raising Cane’s and Joe Bologna’s and a short walk to Rupp Arena. Couldn’t have been more perfectly located for our game weekend getaway. King bed has a memory foam mattress that was super comfortable! Interior finishes and appliances are very high end. Only minor recommendation is to remove the oversized console table and four individual chairs in the main living room to make way for a large sectional (or other style) sofa for sitting and watching the tv. The gas remote controlled fireplace was a nice touch and put out lots of heat!

We loved the property and location to downtown. The condo was wonderful and very nicely decorated and laid out for 2 couples. The upstairs condo and college kids on the street are pretty loud, but nothing a personal sound system cannot fix. We had a great time and loved our stay!

The actual address of the unit is X1, however was given X2 as the address - and it was never explained that X1 is where you turn to park but that the real address was X2, it took a while to figure that out. Luckily a nice neighbor helped us. Then the windows are paper thin, so you hear everything outside. I found it hard to sleep. I just would suggest mentioning if you are a light sleeper that it could be an issue.
