We had a great family vacation! The house was large enough for us all, comfortably, well appointed and in a fantastic location! We didn’t need to drive much as beach, restaurants and shops were all very close by! We loved the Bike Shop restaurant, Crazy Burger, Boon Market and and PJ s Pub all right down the street

We were 8 in our group and really enjoyed our stay.
Big house, well equiped, feels like home.
There is an outdoor shower, but not enclosed, it would be a great investment! 🌞😎⛱️

Our large, extended family had a wonderful time. There was room for everyone, with the 2 living rooms, dining room, Bath, and kitchen on the 1st floor. The large TV/family room was lit by skylights, and a nice hangout space. My blind, 93 year old mom loved the other living room for listening to her books. It was nice to have so much room to spread out.
Everyone loved their rooms, spread out on the 2 upper floors. Only 1 3rd floor bedroom didn’t have a window A/C unit, but a fan worked well.
The decks and backyard were fun to hang out in. There were a lot of beach chairs.
It’s near a playground and restaurants, and a few blocks to the ocean walk. To get onto the beach, it’s a 0.9 mile, beautiful walk. After 5pm the beach is free in the summer. The State beaches are all an easy drive away.
A few things — all the bedrooms had comforters; the kitchen is well provisioned with dinner/cookware. Unfortunately, the oven wasn’t working properly, the kitchen lights were burned out, and all the sofas were the kind you sink into and have trouble getting out of.!
The long driveway had adequate parking for multiple vehicles, but care is needed when backing out into a busy intersection.
We had a wonderful time, and really enjoyed our stay!

Great for kids. Nice Backyard space with grill and two decks. One large enough to eat outside after long day at the beach. Nice location. Need to walk .5 mi to beach or park at town beach. Had 3 families and 5 kids and plenty of space available.

Given the size of the house, and the location, this house is a great value for the money. With two huge living rooms, there is plenty of room to “hang out”. The dining room is also quite spacious, though we preferred to eat out on the deck. The window air conditioning units did the job, and the house was cool enough. The one room without a unit had 2 fans, so it was useable. The location was great. A short walk down to the water and a couple restaurants. It was a little too far for the kids to walk, but my wife and I enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk to the town beach. Overall, as long as you are ok with an older house, this will be a good stay for you.

Wonderful week with kids and grandkids. Best location within walking distance to Narragansett Town Beach, shops and restaurants.

The house was the perfect size for our family. We had adequate space for everyone.
The AC worked great. Location was good for everything.
We will rent this again next year.

It's a 10 block walk to the beach (not close).
I rented for the size and based on good reviews. What is true: roomy home, plenty of parking.
What was disappointing:
We drove from Ohio and found there was zero linens when we arrived.....it is listed under "parking" that there are no linens.
The AC is actually window units.
It listed 5 bedrooms, but only had 4 functional bedrooms. The fith bedroom had no ac unit, was nasty dirty.
There was mold on the shower curtain in the 2nd level bathroom. Yuck. The shower head broke on first shower and we replaced it.
The first level toilet handle is broken and this will not be fixed.
The queen bed on the third floor had a full frame, queen box spring and a full mattress. The matreeses on all the beds (except one) were dirty and not comfortable.
The cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms are awful, broken and dirty.
The dishwasher was broken and we were not advised until the owner came to address a dryer issue.
The yard had overgrown weeds all around the fence and garage.
Toilet in third floor bathroom have no bolts holding the toilet to the floor.
This house is not as it was not well represented on line. So disappointing.
This sounds awful and it was, but we made the best of our week because spending time with family was more important.

The house was spacious, clean, and beds were soft but comfortable. Had some mechanical issues (burned out light bulb, dishwasher didn’t drain on last day) but overall it was a great stay. We plan to return. Easy access to beach, grocery store, Judith Point for ferry to Block Island, and Crazy Burger. The kitchen could have used more seasonings and a cheese grater, but we made due. The TV screen was massive, which was fun. Fridge worked great, and there was plenty of AC. There were 7 of us, and we could have easily accommodated 10.

Easy to feel right at home.
Property was clean and spacious, with plenty of places to gather with family and friends. The cool lawn at the end of a hot day was perfect for outdoor games and grilling. Having three bathrooms made it easy for all of us to get ready at once.

Great Gansett house
Great large Rhode Island “beach” house. Close enough to walk to the Coast Guard House, beach and restaurants. Bigger than we expected. Nice porches and yard.
