This spectacular warm contemporary home is uniquely positioned less than 50 yards from the restaurants, shops and galleries of Carolina Beach. Rarely can you find a home of this quality only a few blocks from Main Beach offering impressive views of the ocean, sunrises, and city lights. This contemporary masterpiece has only the finest materials. The views get more dramatic as you rise. An open floor plan with abundant natural light is enhanced by numerous design elements. A beautiful gourmet kitchen with upgraded appliances, granite counters, center island and custom cabinetry opens to the Great Room for entertaining. This home Features hardwood and travertine floors. Each bedroom has a king size bed and access to a bathroom. Home includes and brand new, over-sized, front load washer and dryer. The over-sized parking under the home also includes a beach shower. Fresh linens, towels, paper towels, toilet papers, dish soaps are all included. Cable packages in all rooms, along with high speed internet! Plenty of privacy, only 2 short blocks to the beach which includes a cross walk, and one block from the many attractions Carolina Beach beach has to offer!

**** Also all rental prices are based on occupancy. I ACCEPTED YOUR RESERVATION BASED ON THE TOTAL PEOPLE ON YOUR BOOKING REQUEST. We have had several problems this year with over occupancy and I just want to be 100% up front the expectation on rental occupancy and guidelines. Children and Babies are considered people and will be counted in occupancy totals. This home sleeps a total of 6 people

The Purple house was perfect for our beach get away. Not only was the inside perfect for our family, but the outside was great as well. We spent so much time out on the porch and actually ate most of our meals out there. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals for our family and having the washer/dryer was perfect for doing laundry throughout our stay. We loved that didn’t have to load the kids up to go anywhere, if we didn’t want to. We walked most places. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Carolina Beach.

We truly enjoyed staying at this location with the kids. The owners of the property were very gracious and responsive to our needs and provided us with privacy at the same time. It is very close to the beach and boardwalk and the house was nice and clean. We would book this property again.

Only a few blocks from the ocean and right in the center of all of the food/entertainment. Really enjoyed the location. House was well maintained, 3 king beds and 3 bathrooms came in very handy.

We had a short weekend getaway and the property was great location is perfect close enough to walk to beach or restaurants yet far enough back to avoid the noise of people. And the owners are super nice and accommodating we will be returning.

From booking to checkout, the whole experience was great! Easy check in, great communication, the house was super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were so close to anything we needed that we really didn’t have to drive much. We will definitely book this place again!

While the house was nice, the owner was horrible. She evicted us after we asked for assistance with getting TV service and then we had the audacity to inquire about soap and towels. She then called me and told us to leave, that we were trash because we didn't know how to work the TV (2 people came and could not get it working properly either) and screamed at us for wanting soap and extra towels. She said we would not be happy there and we had to leave. She promised a full refund but shorted us a little over $100 to add insult to injury. When I told her we ran a hotel for 30 years and never treated guests in such a manner, she screamed that she did not want "hotel people" on her property. Mind you, we are not kids. We are retired senior citizens of the utmost reputation and were literally kicked to the curb. These people should not be allowed to be part of VRBO or any rental service. We were there for a family wedding event and had two other people coming to stay with us the following day. We had to scramble to find accommodations for us as well as my sister and her adult son. This was truly the worst experience I ever had with any travel in my 65+ years on this planet. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE.

This home was clean, open, inviting and adorable. We were visiting for our wedding so spent most of our days elsewhere however after a long stressful day, coming back to the purple house gave us instant release and we were able to curl up in a beautiful and comfortable place.

The house was fine except for two small issues...the living area ceiling fan remote doesn't work properly and we weren't able to watch TV in the bedroom because Fubo was not an offered app and that's what we have at home so we couldn't access ESPN. We're big sports fans and wanted to finish up the later US Open games upstairs but we weren't able and it was uncomfortable sitting downstairs for so long. We liked that we could walk most anywhere from the Purple house, and the beds were very comfortable, there's just not alot to do in Carolina Beach so we'll try somewhere different next time. I swam a lot in the ocean, and that was wonderful. It was clean and not at all crowded. Also, the restaurants in the immediate area are pretty lacking.

Had a fantastic stay at the Purple House as the posting was spot on and communication with owner was great, they supplied all the support you would expect for a four day getaway, Thanks again we so enjoyed your house as it was walking distance to most everything, but yet quite at night.

Our family included for adults and (2) 8year-old children. This was our very first beach vacation together. The location was perfect and very walkable even on the hot days. The large living room, dining, and kitchen area provided a space where we can keep an eye on the children and we all had plenty of space where we were not running into each other. The beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The water is delicious and the home has great water pressure. The porch gets the perfect cross winds almost 24 hours a day. We would definitely stay here again. The host is very personable and responsive.

We had a great stay for our family vacation. The location is close to the beach, restaurants and the amusement park. We value cleanliness since our kids roll and slide all over the floors. My family and I just spent 4 nights at this property. Having never visited Carolina Beach, we had no idea what to expect. What we knew from our pre-visit investigation was that this property was 2 blocks inland from the beach and 1 block removed from the main drag that runs the length of Carolina Beach. We arrived after dark so we weren’t really able to see the exterior of the property. When we opened the door, however, we were very pleasantly surprised to see a very clean, modern and tastefully appointed kitchen and den. The floors were covered in appealing hand scraped wood and the bathroom just off the kitchen/den area was beautifully decorated with a blue tropical wallpaper and white trim and accents. Quite dramatic and very tasteful. The 3 upstairs bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms were equally impressive. The house speaks of high-end finishes with 10 inch baseboards, crown mountings and trimmed out windows throughout. The furnishings and bedding materials are just right. Not spartan and not overdone. One note of caution: the king bed in the master bedroom sits high off the ground. Probably 36-40 inches high. If you are short, elderly or are disabled, this could present an issue for you. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and highly recommend it for a family of 4-6.

The purple house was absolutely beautiful and just as described on the website. The house is very well taken care of with updated appliances. There was more than enough room for our family of five. The beds were very comfortable. I typically can't lay down very long due to my back but I was definitely able to sleep in. My oldest son slept in a lot! The location is only two blocks from the beach/boardwalk so there's no need to have to drive. The owners, both reached out prior to our stay to give us all the information needed for check in(very smooth process). I highly recommend and look forward to returning.
