Very clean, room seems recently remodeled
A/c is a little loud

The location was easy to get to, on a major street but wasn't too noisy. Just 6 blocks from Revolution Hall, a music venue we went to. Looked recently updated & really clean. A Voodo Donughts a block away!

Really nice and convenient location. Love the ample parking and the manager is always friendly
3.5 / 5.0
I liked the manager of the building and the breakfast amenities. It was easy to book my room as well.
The heater did not work properly in the room and the bathroom facilities were frozen over due to the weather.
4.0 / 5.0
Great location, with easy access to local amenities.
Although the room and hotel was recently renovated and very nice, the towels and pillows were pretty worn and if replaced, this would be easily be one of my top recommendations.
3.5 / 5.0
Location was great and within walking distance to places to eat and drink
Some noise transfers from other rooms

Bed was comfortable; good isolation
Staff quite unfriendly. Room too hot even if AC/Heater switched-off. Cleaning to be improved. Had it cost 60 USD I would have find it fair; but for 100 USD per night it was not really worth the money for value.

Rooms are as nice as in the pictures. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Voodoo doughnuts right across the street.
The only reason I'm giving this a 9 instead of a 10 is because even though the room had a smart TV, it didn't come with the right TV remote to enable casting streaming from my phone.

Really cleans room (just revovated), bed was so confortable
Location (easy bus ride ro downtown, nice pub with food truck juste beside, rock climbing gym near, easy to drive your car)
Mangers
Homeless tent (only one) near the hotel
The room above ours had kids that walk and jump SO much, annoying (not the fault of the managers though)

After having a run of bad luck with motels, I've finally found a nice place for quick, inexpensive stays. The room is cozy without being tight, the lighting is more than adequate, and the arrangement actually makes sense for a change. One interesting feature, which I've never seen before, is that there was one set of power outlets near the floor for lamps and appliances, and another at waist level for visitors' items (like your laptop or phone charger). The wifi is also among the most accessible and stable I've ever experienced. Cleanliness is top-notch, everything's in good condition, and the bed is quite comfortable.
The only real downside was most likely a miscommunication: When making my reservation, I asked to be on the lower level, because I have bad knees and I was going to be carrying a large, heavy suitcase. Instead, I was put on the upper level. (One of the vending machines also broke down a couple of hours after I arrived, but that can happen to anyone, and in fact has happened at fancier places.) Also, the property could invest in some new table lamps; while the ones they have are just the right brightness for the room, there are only two -- one for the desk, and one for the far side of the bed -- and most places I've stayed at have lamps with switches at the base along with power outlets and sometimes USB charging ports.
Something that can't be helped, but visitors should be aware of: traffic controls are such that the property can only be accessed from the northeast, along Sandy Boulevard.

The location was fantastic for a quick Portland vacation. walking distance to anything you need immediately, and centrally located enough to not have an issue with driving. The room was clean, the area felt safe and the updates were noticeable.
Not a big deal, but would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room.

Check-in was easy and staff was friendly. The room was minimally well equipped & parking was very convenient and accessible to rooms. WiFi and a refrigerator were provided. The bed was comfortable and room comfort was maintained through adequate heating.
The room could have been cleaned with a little more detail. Noise from other units and people coming and going was excessive at times. There was no microwave or coffee provided... would have been nice, but not necessarily expected.
4.5 / 5.0
It was a great place, not too far away from anything. The bed was pretty large, comfy enough we could have brought a friend to stay too.
