My room was clean. The bathroom was spotless. The shower worked very well. The bed (I examined it) was clean and the room and bed were both critter free. I like the fact that the floors were carpet free giving me more confidence that I would not transfer bugs if there were any to my next location. I didn't use this, but the room had what seemed to be a functional kitchenette, a working refrigerator and pans for cooking.

Convenient location to airport
We arrived at midnight after paying in full for the room in advance. The security gaurd (no hotel staff on the front desk was behind bullet proof glass) had no record of our booking. I provided evidence of a confirmation number and payment on bank statements. The security gaurd advised us despite this he was unable to give us access to a room as the hotel staff had not set up room keys for us. He advised us to book another hotel at approx 0100 hour after a 35 hour international commute. We booked this hotel for the 24 hour check in. The security gaurd wanted us to depart thr premises which i refused to do in the middle of the night in a dodgy suburb. My husband had to pay for extended phone connected and started contacting local hotels in the area. After 30mins the security gaurd saw my name on another list and eventually let us into our room which we had paid for! Just aswell i insisted on not leaving.
Upon entering the room the mirror and freezer had what looked like old blood on them.
The next day i attempted to escalate this issue to thr hotel staff. The female attendant was kind and accepting. However she had her two preschool aged children behind the counter with her and i did not feel i was able to express my concern with the check in procedure with her as a result.
Do not book this hotel.

Lots of room
No hot water

nothing
there was no coffee pot there was no dishes. when I asked the manager for a coffee pot and dishes, he said sorry someone must’ve stole them. When I booked the room, it’s stated it came with all of those items. There was no pots and pans and somebody Peed by the front door. When I was standing outside, it took them several hours to clean it after I brought it to their attention several times the dresser drawers were broken. I also booked the room for my friend who is disabled, and I selected a disabled room. We were placed on the second floor, with no access to an elevator.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
I had to request another room due to the lack of cleanliness in the restroom. Blood in the shower!!
The new room was across the hall from people who were up all night with loud music, barking dogs and crying babies.
After hours staff isn't on site, only security. They didn't seem to care about the parties at 2am.

Nothing, worst place I have ever seen. I have been in homeless camps that had a higher standard of cleanliness.
Everything.

The room was large for a motel/hotel.
Studio Six had less then the bare minimum. No cups or glasses. I had to go to front desk where the clerk unhappily directed me to a drawer where there was some small plastic glasses. No coffee maker and just two threadbare towels. I would not stay there again.

Close to my job. And easy access to shopping and dining.

I stayed on the front porch from 3am to 7am my first night because the security guard left and never came back and I wasn’t given a room key till next morning

Nothing because the entire experience was horrible and the hotel didn’t leave a room for us!
The hotel is in an awful area of Portland, the security guard was incredibly rude, called us poor and stupid, and threatened to kick us to the curb when we demanded answers as to why we didn’t have a room.

nothing really
the door to the room was broken and could not close, so we barricaded the door with our luggage. the entire place was dirty (to be fair, it seemed like the sheets and towels were clean). all the interior was ancient and worn out.

night security got into a screaming match with a woman outside our window that lasted an hour.

Nothing. Did not even stay. Had to find something else last minute.
I showed up and parked in the parking garage below the building. A guy walked through with a Crack pipe hanging out of his mouth. There was a crowd of people drinking and smoking at the front door. We turned back around and left. I requested a refund, but apparently not getting one. This place was unsafe and should not be advertised to travelers. I should read the reviews. It is a place of high crime and drugs.

big rooms
pictures were definitely taken years ago. the building, both inside and out, needs some work/updating. And since it’s an extended stay hotel, there are a lot of people just hanging about the property, smoking, etc. Although the room was a large size, it had a weird smell and again, needed some updating and repairs. Also, there are no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs if you’re not on the first floor.
