Perfect location. Clean. Classic brownstone apartment living smack in the heart of Newbury St. Has a small grocery store next door.

Well situated very nice building
Interaction with the staff not efficient
We had a small and short bed
Asked if we could have a room with a standard queen bed as my feet were overhanging to my calves once lying but had no answer from them
Also they blocked the windows so we could not get fresh air in the bedroom which felt a bit muschy

Extremely CLEAN. We were impressed by the level of cleanliness upon arrival. The kitchenette was well equipped and the microwave super CLEAN. Staff are friendly and responsive. Awesome location and it’s super near to the convention center. Wanted to rebook this unit for our next conference in August this year.
It was really NOISY.
1) We could hear every conversation from our next door unit and they were just talking at an appropriate volume. Lack of privacy. We were not comfortable to discuss sensitive stuff in the room.
2) We were at 2nd floor and the apartment above our unit was partying non stop on our final night of stay. Foot stomping all over the apartment and due to this, the aircon vent / cover was rattling non stop. We tried to wait out (9pm onwards supposed to be quite hrs till 7am) but couldn’t tolerate it and called the management office at approximately 12am. The staff was really understanding and offered to reach out to the noisy unit. It worked.
3) Bathroom floor was damaged and I did not feel safe as it seems it could cut my feet.

Location and reasonable price (compared to area hotels) are the best reasons to stay here. It's relatively spacious for the area and price, bed was comfortable. Large windows overlooking the street brought in good light and despite busy on a trendy busy street, you could hear very little street noise.
The bathroom was subpar, for several reasons. First of all, there were many small tiles from the shower floor dislodged and missing, making it uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. The hot water was iffy too. I alerted the host on the second day about these issues and a guy showed up quickly to check things out. They had to wait until I checked out to repair the tiles. The hot water was better on the third day; maybe it was a fluke previously. Also, being a rather small bathroom, there is zero counter space—not even space on the sink—to put toiletries, etc. Even hanging a simply narrow shelf on the wall, or perhaps something fitting under the sink would improve usability. The lack of any usable counter space was actually quiet surprising and, frankly, inexcusable.

Proximity was excellent, nice premises.
Difficulties re on street parking should have been more transparent as well as the requirement for a hefty security fee only after we had already booked & paid.

Loved everything about this stay! Lovely neighborhood. Comfortable studio. THE most comfortable bed with the softest sheets! Loved having the kitchenette.
The bathroom was very small so there were no shelves to put things and no ledge on the sink either. I managed by placing a cutting board on the sink when I needed it. Simple hack.

Fantastic location, really can’t get much better for sight seeing. Short walk up to Boston common. Great area around for shops and good. Comfy apartment too, clean and easy to access. Good facilities. Got all the basics!
