This cottage was such a great place to enjoy the waterfront in Corea. It was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and small dog. It was perfect. Found so much sea glass on the little beach right in front of the cottage. The cottage was small but perfect. We hope to come back in the fall sometime.

We loved every minute at the bungalow! Every detail was well thought out, making it the perfect place to stay. What a prime location with an incredible front row view of the harbor. Truly a hidden gem where we could relax and our dog was just as welcome as we were. Thank you, Pam!

Beautiful views of the lobster fishing cove. It had everything we needed. Great views from the bedroom loft. Nice screened in porch and fire pit. However an hour away from Bar Harbor. Very close to Scoodic Peninsula Acadia National park

This was our second stay at this cottage. We love staying on the quiet Schoodic peninsula side rather than the busy Bar Harbor side of Acadia. The cottage has all you need for a nice stay. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. The shower is small, but I am 6'3" and weigh 215 lbs and i was just fine. Beds are comfortable. Internet speed is fine. Heater works well. Kitchen has everything you need too.
The best thing is the view right outside the door of the cottage. There, you can see a working lobster fishing villiage. You can see all the boats going out each morning and returning later in the day with their daily catch of fresh lobsters. You can grab a fresh lobster roll or a whole fresh lobster dinner at a small lobster shack just a short 1/4 mile walk away. They are open from 11am to 3pm Monday through Saturday. There is also a lobster fishing boat tour just a 1/2 mile walk from the cottage. They go out 3 times a day (weather permitting). You can take your freshly caught lobster home, or go to the lobster shack and they will cook it for you.
An awesome Maine coastal experience!

We absolutely loved this little bungalow. It was the perfect size for two people and a dog, and the location can’t be beat. It was a great home away from home while exploring the Maine coast, and Pam is an incredibly kind host! I would absolutely recommend staying here - 10/10!

The property was clean & comfortable & the host thought of every single detail needed to provide a wonderful stay! The surrounding area is very quiet which made for a great escape after visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. I would definitely recommend this property.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the rustic cottage in Corea. It was exceptionally clean and well-stocked. As a note, it is about a 45+ minute drive to Bar Harbor-the ferry does not operate after Columbus Day.

The owner was great to communicate with and was very attentive.

Nothing can top this location looking out at the wharf. It was absolutely charming! We soaked in the views and even awoke early (3:30am) to watch the boats head out (the boats are not loud and never woke us up— we wanted to watch them). The beds were comfy. We appreciated the extra blankets and upstairs fireplace for extra warmth in the mornings. We absolutely loved lunch on the wharf (about 3 doors down). The drive to and from Acadia was lovely— all the trees, views of the ocean and ponds, and fun Maine houses. Would highly recommend staying here for a genuine Maine experience.

The perfect place to stay. The view was amazing! And the house is exactly as described! It was perfect for me and my fiancé to get away for a few days! Loved the skylight in the bedroom and being able to watch the harbor from the bed

Coming from NYC we were looking for tranquility and alone time. The location is beautiful! It faces out to a lobster fishing warf and the panorama is gorgeous - water, sky and boats. The cabin itself was pristine and perfect. Our host was a rock star. Schoodic Peninsula was a 15 minute drive away. We had our little Schnauzer with us and he had a great time as well. I can gush on but I'll just say, my partner loved it so much that he wants to come back next year. Rent this place! You won't regret it!

Excellent visit to Corea where my Crowley ancestors lived years ago. Very quiet, nice view of the harbor, enjoyed the fog coming in and the sound of lobster boat motors. Nice lunch at the Lunch on the Wharf. Everything one would want was provided at the Bungalow, very clean and well decorated. Enjoyed coming back to Maine coast where I grew up. Will come back again.

We love it here. Our second year and will return.
Pam has done a super job of decorating and the kitchen is really well stocked.❤❤❤

The cottage is between two working lobster wharfs, but they try to be quiet when they leave early in the morning. My husband slept on the futon downstairs with our senior dog and he didn’t hear a thing. The screened in porch is good even on foggy mornings, but I took the cushions in every night. Small shower but excellent water pressure. Pam
Is very responsive host.

The location was unbelievable on an authentic working lobster boat harbor and views for miles. The access was simple and a delicious restaurant a few steps away along with a lobster boat tour around the corner. Don’t miss either. The accommodations are simple but sufficient for our family of four. You are going for location with this place not luxury. If you are looking Ann authentic location in Maine you found it.

This place was absolutely amazing and so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on booking again for a few days next year. If you are looking for a unique experience and to get away from more busy areas this place is it! The steps to the second floor are steep but myself and my 8 year old had no problems with them. The one thing that I think could be improved was the two beds upstairs. They were not super comfortable and made noise when you moved around on them. Pam is fantastic and very responsive. The wine and s'mores are a very nice touch.

Loved the privacy and the harbor views, weather was a little wet but we still enjoyed our stay. Long morning walks with the dogs , found a few little beaches and hideaways to explore.

Sweet bungalow that our family loved. Just don't forget to shade the skylight and be aware of heavy water rich with minerals. Enjoy the obligatory Lunch on the Wharf!

The bungalows was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the quieter side of Acadia National Park. A charming sea cottage which had all the essentials.

Cottage was cute, and as pictured. The location was nice and quiet, overlooking a lobster wharf. Views from the cottage were beautiful. The stairs to the upstairs of the cottage were quite steep. We had lunch at “Lunch on the wharf”, best lobster rolls and cookies ever. Thank you for letting us stay here, it was a very memorable experience for our family.

Perfect location for our stay around the Acadia area. Had the essence of Maine with a little cottage next to a fishing bay and a lobster restaurant just down the street. A couple small issues, the mattress was really well used and a bit hard to sleep on and the shower is super tight / small to get into. Otherwise though for a stay in the area, it was a nice place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and the view of the harbor is spectacular. It’s on a quiet road and a great location to get away from the crowds. The online photos are accurate for the property. It’s not much square footage but for the two of us it was perfect. It is well stocked with all the basic needs, and bonus perks like a grill and Netflix. In warm weather the screened porch is also a bonus space.

This was our favorite trip. We loved Corea. The house was amazing. I just wanted to sit and watch the view. We loved walking down to the lunch spot for fresh lobster. My kids enjoyed playing in the yard for hours. My daughter spent a lot of the trip on the swing in the front yard. We had fires in the firepit and enjoyed time together. We drove 18hrs to get there but it was worth it!

When it’s too chilly for the screen porch, watch the lobster boats from the cozy upstairs sitting area. It’s the perfect home base for taking day trips to explore the beautiful coast.

Wonderful stay! Great place and location. I inadvertently booked for the wrong years, and she made very fast arrangements to still have us stay. Made our trip possible because of her kindness. Highly recommend overall and a great place to visit!
