Pessimo posto. Non ho dormito per niente. Rumoroso e approssimativo

Il fatto che si è potuto parcheggiare in strada

Arredo approssimativo, infissi in lamierino con mono vetro di vecchia fattura, mobili di recupero. Luogo molto rumoroso sia a causa dei vetri delle finestre sia a causa del traffico veicolare e navale. All'ingresso mobili datati che odoravano di polvere. Nella stanza vecchi mobili adattati

Staff ECCEZIONALE!!

La cortesia dello staff è al primo posto, camera e bagno molto puliti, la posizione della struttura è buona, trovi la fermata sia del tram che del bus davanti allo stabile. La struttura è molto tranquilla e lo staff era eccezionale.

la tv non prendeva tutti i canali funzionavano solo 3/4 canali

The view of the port from our room was spectacular.

Beautiful view of ferry port. Big room. Nice bathtub. Wonderful host.

A bit of street noise, and noise from neighboring apt renovation.

Room Emma’s ok but would not stay again or anywhere in the air area

The room was okay& clean but tired in decor

The external area of the property was terrible. So untidy with litter & vermin on the streets in the daytime which I witnessed with a local. The rat was the size of a cat. I know that this is not down to the host who was very helpful & as I stated the facilities were clean & tidy.

A lovely room to stay the facilities were great and we found a cheap little pizza place just down the road, unfortunatel

Such a quaint apartment building, exceptionally clean and well equipped, our host was very accommodating.

Was a little noisy early as close to the wharf.

Good for a night

Owner was super lovely. And it had a balcony.

No euro plugs. And mosquitoes were in the room all night. Also hard to find.

Nice big room, close to the ferry, fine bathroom, all simple and old, but clean. Very nice host. Possibility to make your own breakfast.

Exceptional

The night views of the sea and the shores of the Italia mainland were fabulous. I had take aways meals and had dinner gazing at the somewhat mysterious views from the window.

Pleasant

The owner is really nice and helpful. There is well stocked kitchen that you can use in case you need to cook. I got a room with single bed, was quite comfortable. There was shared balcony with a street and sea wiev.

The room I had was loud from the street, that was bothering me the most. Place was ok, could be cleaner - space under the bed was a bit forgotten.

I am grateful to MappaMondo for making me try a unique experience. In a building facing the sea that in its entrance hall there are turtles complete with a well-kept swimming pool, then on the third floor the wonder of wonders, in the true sense of the word delightful apartment, very clean well cared for in the smallest details a journey into the world, from the objects of 'furniture with eccentric chandeliers, in the room for Natalie they made me find panettone and sparkling wine (attention not just), a simple colorful kitchen, well equipped, served with coffee, milk and various snacks all this stuffed by a fantastic, professional welcome from the owner and available for every need. I will definitely go back to take another trip around the world if only for one day. Thanks again for a wonderful stay on Christmas. Grazie mille.

Very friendly host, lovely Decoration

The host was very friendly, the interior seems to be self decorated but in a lovely way. You feel right comfortable. Free coffee/tea and water provided, as well little snacks.

Excellent Stay!

The hospitality of the host, the cleanliness of the rooms, the beautifully baked cake, access to the ferry terminal and much more. This is a perfect delight. A must to stay when in Messina.

It is 3 km away from the Messina Centrale Station and tram was not very frequent, so i had to walk for 37*3 mins.

The location very close to the Caronte harbor and to the tram line to go to the city center. Manuela, the host, was very kind !

Loved it!

Manuela was so kind. She even went to her house to print out my boarding pass for me for my flight the next day, gave me her whatsapp, offered me water, juice, whatever I wanted. I felt like I was at home.

It was about a 25 minute walk from the historic center but the price was really great, so I am not complaining. There is a tram that takes you right there anyway for 1,50€

Everything was fine for my short stay in Messina.

Unfortunately the breakfast was a little poor (coffee and 1 croissant).
