Tickets can be found at the Winter Realms website.

The home has been professionally decorated throughout and the soothing color pallet and mixture of textures is warm and homey.
The house was built in the 1880's and was used by notorious Chicago gangsters in the 20's and 30's because of its secluded lakefront location and close proximity to Chicago. This house has been referenced in many biographies including those of Baby Face Nelson, John Dillinger and George "Bugs" Moran.
The home has been updated throughout and offers all the modern amenities you'd expect from an upscale vacation rental, while keeping true to its historic charm. Relics from its past can still be seen in the home today including the counting table, where money from local bootlegging and gambling operations was counted and sorted, has now been converted a rustic dining room table.
The crown jewel of this property is the lake and you can access it from a staircase off the lakeside deck and into the fenced flat yard with two large picnic tables and yard chairs. You'll also find a private beach and a large "L'" shaped pier. We have rafts, 2 kayaks, yard games including Corn Hole Toss and Bocce, as well as plenty of sand toys and a small fire pit.
Feel free to bring along your boat, jet ski, canoe or sailboat to use while staying at the Watersedge. If you'd like to arrange a rental of a boat, let us direct you to a local marina which will deliver a rental boat to the private pier at the property. The piers are typically in the water from April-October, depending on the weather. There are two restaurants on the south shore (where we are located) and three on the north shore. You can float your boat to a restaurant or bar and dock it. It's a fun way to travel.
The Watersedge is located just three miles west of Downtown Lake Geneva and all the shopping, entertainment, theaters and restaurants it has to offer. You'll find this to be the perfect location, less than a 10 minute drive to downtown, but far enough away to avoid the congestion. It's the ideal home for couples, girl's weekends, families, team building and adult groups of friends.
If you're interested in golfing this is where you'll want to stay! We overlook Geneva National Golf Course that is located on the north side of the lake and are just a short drive to the Grand Geneva's Brute and Highland Courses; Hawks View's Como Crossings or the 18-hole par three Barn Hollow. There are courses for all levels nearby.
There's plenty to do within walking distance of this home, as well, including three restaurants and lounges. The French Country Inn is just 5 houses away and features the Getaway restaurant. They have fine dining as well as a bar menu and outdoor seating on the lake. The Mars Resort and Piano bar is about a block away and is one of the most popular places in town. They have a great Friday Fish Fry, incredible burgers and sing-a-longs around the piano most weekend nights. In the summer months they have afternoon entertainment on many Saturday afternoons on their lakeside deck.
The Ridge Hotel has an incredible restaurant, Crafted Italia and The Deck Bar (with a giant fire pit) that are just up the hill on Hwy 50. They serve great food and offer entertainment on most weekends. You'll enjoy being able to walk to all these restaurants and lounges without ever having to start your car!
The local resorts have year round activities to keep our visitors busy all year. Winter is a great time to visit, as we are located near two ski hills, have ice fishing on the lake, great cross-country skiing, ice skating, Winter Realms (Ice Castles), and sledding less than a block away.

The house was great but the spiral staircase was a total surprise. Nothing was mentioned in the advertisement. Also, no rooftop deck usage after sundown.

Old home with lots of history. Plenty of room and our family enjoyed the lake. Ali was very responsive to our needs.

This is a truly wonderful property for a family vacation. The host is so helpful and communicative. The property easily accommodated our large group from 4 month old to Grandparents. The property feels so homely and has absolutely everything you might need and beautifully furnished. The history of the house is really interesting. The location is perfect on quieter Lake Como which is a great lake for water sports and fishing. The house has a perfect little garden and beach for all and especially the grandkids to play on and in the water. The host helped us find a boat rental that delivered directly to the private dock off the back garden. The house also has kayaks lifejackets and sand toys for use. The location is only 10 mins from Lake Geneva and so easy access to all its shops and restaurants and there are also two good restaurants in walking distance. We had the most wonderful family vacation largely due to all this property had to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend.

This house was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday with family and friends. Ten adults stayed so there was plenty of room for privacy. We even hired a chef to make us a 4 course dinner which was prepared in the kitchen and served on the beautiful dinning room table.

Thank you to our wonderful host for an amazing stay. Our family very much enjoyed the accommodations, and I'd certainly recommendation this home to anyone who is looking for space to house a larger groups.

The house was perfect for our entire family!
The kitchen was our favorite, nice a big and we could all gather there and hang out, it was great!
We feel the only thing that needs some attention is the water pressure, showers had very little pressure.
4.9
We had 13 family members staying at the house to celebrate my 80th birthday! More than enough space to sleep, eat and play for all of us. The house is exactly as the photos show it, no surprises whatsoever! Very clean, well maintained, lovely and comfortable furnishings. We are looking forward to staying there in the future.

Loved our girlfriend getaway on Lake Como. Had fun sitting on the deck playing cards, drinking coffee by the dock, cooking in the kitchen. We loved that there were so many bedrooms and bathrooms. It was perfect. We had trouble determining which door to enter. I guess we've never been to a Speakeasy before!
4.9
Winding staircase was a bit difficult for some older adults. Was not aware it was on the property in looking at the pictures until we arrived.

Ali was such a wonderful contact and helper!!
House was perfect! Thank you!!

House was in an ideal location to access Geneva golf courses. It easily fit our large group of 12 adults. I will be booking this house again for our next trip.

Nice quiet place to hang out with friends and family with a great view of Lake Como sitting outside on the patio or around the firepit. Great place to stay if golfing at Geneva National across the lake, just a 9 min drive to get there. If you want to just hang out on the property, it has everything you need to enjoy. The kitchen is solid and has multiple fridges which really helps. You can just
walk or drive down the street to Mars Resort Restaurant and Bar and enjoy great WI food, lake views, and music. The stay was very relaxing with easy check in/out process.

It was an excellent location for a large family get together, especially with little ones.

There were 14 of us from parents to children to grandchildren staying a week for our summer vacation.
We spent much of the day in or on the water on rented pontoon and wave runners. The lake was great and during the week we had the lake almost to ourselves.
The house was very comfortable with a most interesting history which was shared with us via old framed photos with extensive captions. One photo brought me back to my roots of St Paul,
MN and the coincidence continued with my sons birthday and my dads high school.
There were many other attributes but go and see them for yourself. To sum It up we had a great time at Waters Edge.
4.9
Our family of 12 had a fantastic at Watersedge. This is our second time staying here. It is an amazing house and is exactly what we wanted. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
4.9
This property worked out perfectly for our extended family of 12. Coffee on the deck in the morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The kitchen table accommodated all of us. The upstairs great room was perfect for the guys who wanted to watch their favorite movies late into the night, we always had a jigsaw puzzle doing in the dining room, the downstairs living room was pleasant for conversation. and the little beach worked well for those who wanted to play in the sand or float in the water. . .and kayaking. We thought we'd need to go to a larger beach but we didn't. It was within easy walking and/or driving distance of a number of restaurants. The only negative was a suspicious vine around the tree which was identified with two separate apps as poison ivy. We definitely recommend this property.

All of us, ranging in age from 85 to 20 could not have been more pleased with what WatersEdge East had to offer. The outdoor spaces were utilized daily as were the vast indoor areas.
The home was well appointed in every respect.
Thank you, Ali, for your assistance in making our stay memorable for all.
